Claims (4)
- ピストンに、外側から内部空間へ先導空気を流入させるための先導空気流路が形成されるとともに、
前記ピストンの側部に掃気連絡口が形成され、
シリンダの内周面に、排気ポート、先導空気ポート、掃気ポート、及び、掃気流入口が形成され、
前記掃気ポートと掃気流入口とは、掃気通路によって接続され、
前記掃気連絡口は、ピストンが下死点付近にあるときに、前記掃気流入口と重なるような位置に形成され、
前記先導空気流路は、ピストンが上死点付近にあるときに、前記シリンダの先導空気ポートと重なるような位置に形成され、
吸入工程において、前記先導空気流路が先導空気ポートと重なっている間に、先導空気が、前記先導空気ポート、先導空気流路を通ってピストンの内部空間へ流入するように構成され、
掃気工程において、前記掃気連絡口と前記掃気流入口とが重なっている間に、先導空気が、前記掃気連絡口、掃気流入口、掃気通路を通って、掃気ポートからシリンダ内へ流入し、続いて、クランク室内の混合気が、前記ピストンの内部、掃気連絡口、掃気流入口、掃気通路を通って、掃気ポートからシリンダ内へ流入するように構成されていることを特徴とする、層状掃気2サイクルエンジン。 - 前記先導空気流路は、前記ピストンの外周面に形成された溝部と、当該ピストンの内部空間と連通する先導空気流入口とによって構成され、
前記溝部は、縦溝と、その下端から横方向へ延在する横溝とからなるL字状に形成され、
前記先導空気流入口は、前記縦溝の上端に形成され、
前記横溝の端部は、前記ピストンが上死点付近にあるときに、前記先導空気ポートと重なるような位置に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の層状掃気2サイクルエンジン。 - 前記ピストンの内部に、上下方向への気体の流動を抑制するためのリブが形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の層状掃気2サイクルエンジン。
- 前記先導空気流入口が、前記ピストンの内周面の接線方向へ向かって開口するように構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の層状掃気2サイクルエンジン。
