Claims (11)
- プラスチック物品を作る方法であって、
金属型を第1ステーションに配置して、赤外線エネルギーを使って前記金属型を予め加熱する段階であって、前記金属型には輪郭が付けられており、かつ前記金属型は裏面及び表面を具備し、前記赤外線エネルギーは、平行に配列された、複数の管状電子赤外線加熱要素から、前記金属型の前記裏面に向けられ、前記各要素は輪郭付けられた前記裏面に合致するパターンで曲げられ、かつ輪郭付けられた前記裏面から所定の間隔を置いて配置され、及び前記金属型は前記加熱要素の配列に対して回転しない、前記配置して予め加熱する段階と、
前記金属型を第2ステーションまで移動させ、かつプラスチック材料を予め加熱された前記金属型の表面上に鋳造する段階と、
前記金属型を別のロケーションまで移動させ、かつ赤外線エネルギーを使って前記プラスチック材料を略均一な層内に融合させる段階であって、前記赤外線エネルギーは、平行に配列された管状電子赤外加熱要素によって前記金属型の前記裏面に向けられる赤外線エネルギーから成る、前記移動させ融合させる段階と、
前記金属型を第3ステーションまで移動させ、かつ蒸発冷却を使って前記金属型を冷却させる段階と、
前記金属型から、鋳造された前記プラスチック物品を取り外す段階と、を備え、
複数の合致する管状電子赤外加熱要素を備える前記配列は前記金属型の裏面から約2.54センチメートル〜約7.62センチメートル(約1インチ〜約3インチ)の間隔を置いて配置されており、及び

- 前記潜熱が蒸発熱である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記プラスチック材料が熱可塑性又は熱硬化性材料である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記プラスチックが、ウレタン、ビニル、オレフィン、アクリル酸、スチレン、熱可塑性エラストマー、ポリスルホン、ポリイミド、ポリフェニレン酸化物、ポリアミド、エポキシ、及びこれらの組合せを備える群から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記蒸発冷却が、前記金属型を空気及び水から成る微細霧に接触させることを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。

(i)鋳造されたプラスチック材料を受容するための金属型であって、前記金属型には輪郭が付けられており、かつ裏面を具備する、前記金属型と;
(ii)複数の鋳造ステーションと;
(iii)所望の鋳造温度まで前記金属型を加熱するための、前記複数の鋳造ステーションの1つに配置された平行に配列された複数の管状電子赤外線加熱要素であって、前記管状電子赤外線加熱要素は前記金属型の前記裏面に合致するパターンで曲げられ、かつ前記金属型の前記裏面から所定の間隔を置いて配置され並びに前記金属型の前記裏面に熱を与え、及び前記金属型は前記加熱要素の配列に対して回転しない、前記複数の管状電子赤外線加熱要素と;
(iv)別の前記複数の鋳造ステーションに配置された潜熱冷却装置を備える冷却装置であって、合致する前記複数の管状電子赤外線加熱要素を備える前記配列は前記金属型の前記裏面から約2.54センチメートル〜約7.62センチメートル(約1インチ〜約3インチ)の間隔を置いて配置され、前記管は前記金属型の前記裏面に沿って約2.54センチメートル〜約7.62センチメートル(約1インチ〜約3インチ)だけ更に間隔を置いて配置されて延伸され前記金属型の前記裏面の均一な覆いを供する、前記冷却装置と;を備える装置。
