Description
【0001】

When applied to, roll over steer is likely to occur and steering stability is reduced.

[0010]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and relates to a suspension device of a type using both a leaf spring and an air spring, while taking advantage of the advantages that the cost can be reduced and the increase in vehicle weight can be reduced. An excellent road surface vibration isolation effect comparable to that of a bag air suspension can be obtained. Further, the steering stability can be improved by suppressing rollover steer and the riding comfort can be improved by reducing road impact input at the same time. The purpose is to do so.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a suspension device in which an axle is elastically supported by a leaf spring having a front end attached to the vehicle body and a rear end attached to the vehicle through an air spring. A front part of the leaf spring is formed so as to form a bent portion that gently attaches toward the rear side of the vehicle after descending while protruding to the front side of the vehicle from the mounting position on the vehicle body side of the high place. The plate thickness in an appropriate range of the portion is formed relatively thinner than the remaining portion.
[0012]
Thus, by forming the bent portion, the unfolded length of the front portion of the leaf spring is increased, and the plate thickness in an appropriate range of the front portion is formed relatively thinner than the remaining portion. As a result, the spring constant of the front portion of the leaf spring is reduced and the spring constant of the leaf spring elastically supported by the air spring is approximated to the front spring constant and the balance between them is improved. The
[0013]
In addition, because the front end of the leaf spring is located higher than the axle, a rear tilted axle locus is realized in the same way as in the case of a conventional underslung type suspension device, and obstacles on the road surface. It is possible to relieve the road impact input by releasing the impact in the case of overcoming the road to the rear.
[0014]
Thus, the spring constants of the front and rear sides of the leaf springs are approximated to improve the balance between them, and a rearward tilt axle locus is realized to mitigate road surface impact input. An excellent road surface vibration isolation effect that is not inferior to the suspension can be obtained.
[0015]
Further, in the present invention, it is preferable that the rising portion from the front end portion of the leaf spring to the bent portion is tilted inward in the vehicle width direction, and in this way, the center of the roll that becomes the base point of rolling of the vehicle body is arranged. As the position becomes higher, the distance between the center of gravity of the vehicle becomes shorter and the generation of roll moment is remarkably suppressed, and roll understeer that cancels rollover steer during cornering is newly generated. As a result, the steering stability is greatly improved.
[0016]
That is, when the rising portion from the front end portion of the leaf spring to the bent portion is arranged to be inclined inward in the vehicle width direction, the virtual roll center determined geometrically without considering elastic deformation is the left and right rising portions. The actual roll center is slightly lower than the virtual roll center due to the effect of elastic deformation, but the position of the roll center is significantly higher than before. become.
[0017]
In addition, to supplement the reason why roll understeer that cancels rollover steer during cornering occurs, if the axle side rolls around the center of the roll with the vehicle body side fixed, the vehicle width direction One of the left and right rising parts that leaned inward (the turning side where the vehicle body floats) tends to stand up, and the other (the anti-turning side where the vehicle body sinks) is displaced toward the falling tendency, but one of the rising tendency Since the front and rear distance of the rising part of the riser is longer and the front and rear distance of the other rising part of the tendency to fall is shorter, the upper end of each rising part (the front end of the leaf spring) is the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. If the axle is installed at the same position in the The axle is displaced forward on the counter-turning side where the vehicle body sinks, and the whole axle is inclined so as to face the turning side with respect to the center of the vehicle when viewed from above, thereby moving to the steering direction determined on the front side. Roll understeer is newly generated to increase the turning radius.
[0018]
Further, in the present invention, a pair of left and right torque rods from the vehicle body side ahead of the axle is arranged in a C shape so as to be close to each other toward the rear of the vehicle, and is connected to the axle. It is good to comprise so that the intersection of an extension line may be arrange | positioned in the upper position behind a axle.
[0019]
In this way, the center of the compliance steer formed at the intersection of the extension lines of the axis of each torque rod is arranged at the upper position behind the axle, so the road surface side is opposite to the centrifugal force during cornering. When the reaction force acts on the ground contact part of the wheel from above, the compliance steer appears in an understeering tendency toward the turning side with respect to the vehicle center in a top view, and the rollover steer is canceled by the compliance steering of this understeering tendency. become.
[0020]
In addition, the intersection of the axial extension lines of each torque rod also functions as a virtual roll center at a relatively high position, and the virtual roll center determined at the intersection when the above-described rising portions are extended upward. The difference in height also has the effect of increasing roll rigidity.

Further, to supplement the reason why roll understeer that newly cancels rollover steer during cornering occurs, as shown in the front view in the upper part of FIG. 4, the vehicle body side is fixed and the axle around the roll center R 1 is temporarily assumed. When it is considered that the third side is rolling, one of the left and right rising parts 9 (the turning side on which the vehicle body floats up: the left side in FIG. 4) tilted inward in the vehicle width direction as viewed from the front of the vehicle tends to stand and The other side (the counter-turning side where the vehicle body sinks: the right side in FIG. 4) is displaced to the tendency of lying down, but as shown in the top view in the lower part of FIG.
