Claims (3)
- 発電要素2を内蔵し、電池外装缶1の端板に内圧で作動する安全弁5を設けた二次電池において、安全弁5を設ける上記端板の板素材の所定位置に第1残厚t1を有する安全弁用凹部5aを設け、安全弁用凹部5a内にさらに薄い第2残厚t2を有しかつ外周辺に波形屈曲部を有する長円形の加工凹部5bを設け、この加工凹部5bの前記波形屈曲部より内周寄り位置に前記第2残厚t2よりさらに薄い第3残厚t3を有する長円形の溝部5cを形成し、この溝部5cより中心側に断面視凸曲線状の湾曲部5dを形成し、所定の防爆圧以上の内圧発生時に溝部5cを切裂させて内圧を逃がすことにより安全弁5を作動させるように構成した二次電池の防爆構造。
- 前記溝部5cを、第2残厚t2を有する加工凹部5bの外面又は内面のいずれかに設けたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池の防爆構造。
- 前記安全弁5を電池外装缶1の上端部の封口板1a又は下底板1bに設けたことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の二次電池の防爆構造。
