Description
長さ約20cm、厚さ約0.03mm、及び、原線維長さ約30μmである、内径0.7mmのePTFEチューブが、直径約1.4mmのステンレス鋼の心棒を覆って取り付けられる。このチューブは、拘束シースが続いてその上に構成される、犠牲的なチューブとして意図される。ePTFEチューブの1つの端部は、同じePTFEチューブの別の長さを用いて、約1cmの長さについてらせん状に巻きつけられ、この巻きつけもまた犠牲的であり、引き続き適用される拘束シース材料の解放を後で可能にすることのみを意図している。このように、心棒を覆って取り付けられた基底のePTFEチューブと、らせん状に巻きつけられた材料の両方は、それらが作製された拘束シースに付着することなく、後の熱処理に耐えることができる限りは重要でない選択である。
1.6mmの心棒、及び、厚さ0.04mm×幅0.4mmのある長さの金リボンを使用することを除いて、直径4mm×長さ40mmの2つの自己延伸膨張エンドプロテーゼを、上記のように構成した拘束シースの内部に装填した。包装シースの必要性を評価するために、最終的なデバイス構成物において包装シースを使用せずに、これらのアッセンブリの直径を時間をかけて測定した。拘束シース内部にデバイスを装填した後、20分以内に、(依然として包装シースなしの)該アッセンブリは、60℃に設定した炉内に条件づけられ、炉チャンバー内を大体15〜20%の相対周囲湿度にした。この温度にさらす間、定期的に直径の測定を行った。60℃の温度は、これが、システムが、ETO消毒などのプロセスの間、さらすことのできる温度であるために選択した。このような高い温度によって、崩壊の加速、又は、拘束シースを含めたエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリの直径における増加を予想することができる。
Claims (31)
- より小さい直径からより大きな直径へ直径に沿って延伸膨張することのできる埋め込み可能なエンドプロテーゼと、該エンドプロテーゼの該より小さい直径で該エンドプロテーゼの周りに同軸で提供される、一般に管状の繊細な拘束シースとを含んで成るエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリであって、該拘束シースが、外部への膨張力を該拘束シースに適用することによって開始される崩壊のための手段を備え、埋め込み可能であることを必要としない包装シースの内部に該エンドプロテーゼアッセンブリが含まれ、該繊細な拘束シースが、該包装シースがないときに、少なくとも21時間の間、少なくとも60℃の温度にさらされると、少なくとも部分的に崩壊するか、該エンドプロテーゼアッセンブリの最大直径において少なくとも0.15mm増加する、エンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記外部への膨張力の適用が、前記エンドプロテーゼの内部に配置された膨張可能なカテーテルバルーンによってなされる、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記崩壊のための手段が穿孔を含んで成る、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記穿孔が、一般に管状の拘束シースの長軸に実質的に平行な少なくとも1つの実質的に直線に配向された、請求項3に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記穿孔が、一般に管状の拘束シースの長軸に平行でない線に配列された、請求項3に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記シースが多孔性延伸膨張ポリテトラフルオロエチレンを含んで成る、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記多孔性延伸膨張ポリテトラフルオロエチレンが、多孔性延伸膨張ポリテトラフルオロエチレンフィルムを含んで成る、請求項6に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記多孔性延伸膨張ポリテトラフルオロエチレンフィルムは、1つの層が前記拘束シースの全周未満に広がる層において適用される、請求項7に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記拘束シースが全長を有し、前記多孔性延伸膨張ポリテトラフルオロエチレンフィルムは、1つの層が該拘束シースの該全長未満について広がる層において適用される、請求項7に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記崩壊のための手段が継ぎ目線を含んで成る、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記拘束シースがカテーテルシャフトに付着した1つの端部を有する、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記拘束シースが前記エンドプロテーゼの展開に続いて取り除くことのできる、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記エンドプロテーゼが膨張性のステント被覆を備えたステントを含んで成る、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記拘束シースが展開に続いて放出することのできる治療物質を含む、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記拘束シースが2つの隣接する穿孔の列を有し、前記外部への膨張力の適用が、該2つの隣接する穿孔の列の間に配置した、該拘束シースの一部の先端部に付着した引張り紐によってなされる、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記拘束シース及びエンドプロテーゼがそれぞれある長さを有し、且つ、前記外部への膨張力の適用が、該エンドプロテーゼ及び拘束シースの該長さの少なくとも一部を貫いて移動可能な物体によってなされる崩壊であり、該物体が該エンドプロテーゼの前記より小さい直径よりも大きな直径を有する、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記エンドプロテーゼが第1及び第2端部を有し、該第1端部のみが該エンドプロテーゼの前記より大きな直径に延伸膨張する、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記エンドプロテーゼがオクルダーである、請求項17に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記エンドプロテーゼがフィルターである、請求項17に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記エンドプロテーゼの前記第2端部が、該エンドプロテーゼの前記より大きな直径により後の時間で延伸膨張可能である、請求項17に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
- 前記崩壊のための手段がヒンジを含んで成る、請求項1に記載のエンドプロテーゼアッセンブリ。
