Claims (3)
- 電解質の両側に一対の電極を設けた電解質・電極構造体を、第1および第2セパレータで挟持して構成される燃料電池であって、
前記第1セパレータは、第1位置決め用孔部を設ける一方、前記第2セパレータは、第2位置決め用孔部を設け、前記第1位置決め用孔部に、第1絶縁性位置決め部材が装着される一方、前記第2位置決め用孔部に、第2絶縁性位置決め部材が装着されるとともに、
前記第1絶縁性位置決め部材は、前記第1セパレータの一方の面を支持する支持部と、
前記第1セパレータの第1位置決め用孔部に嵌合する膨出部と、
前記膨出部の内側に設けられる内周壁部と、
を備え、
前記第2絶縁性位置決め部材は、前記第2セパレータの一方の面を支持する支持部と、
前記第2セパレータの前記第2位置決め用孔部に嵌合する第1膨出部と、
前記第1膨出部とは反対側に突出する第2膨出部と、
前記第2膨出部の外側に設けられる外周壁部と、
を備え、
前記第1絶縁性位置決め部材の前記内周壁部に、前記第2絶縁性位置決め部材の前記外周壁部が嵌合することにより、前記第1および第2セパレータ同士が絶縁状態で位置決めされることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1記載の燃料電池において、前記第1セパレータの他方の面を支持して前記第1絶縁性位置決め部材に係合するリング状の第1支持部材と、
前記第2セパレータの他方の面を支持して前記第2絶縁性位置決め部材に係合するリング状の第2支持部材と、
を備えることを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 請求項1または2記載の燃料電池において、少なくとも前記第1または第2絶縁性位置決め部材は、前記電解質・電極構造体を挟んで配置される各シール部材間に進入し、該シール部材と積層方向に向かって互いに重なり合う突起部を備えることを特徴とする燃料電池。
