Claims (5)
- 可変吸気機構により気筒内に吸入される吸入空気量が自在に変更される内燃機関において、燃焼室内に供給される燃料量を制御する内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記可変吸気機構の動作状態を表す動作状態パラメータを検出する動作状態パラメータ検出手段と、
当該動作状態パラメータに応じて、前記吸入空気量の推定値として第1推定吸気量を算出する第1推定吸気量算出手段と、
前記内燃機関の吸気通路内を流れる空気の流量を検出する空気流量検出手段と、
当該空気の流量に応じて、前記吸入空気量の推定値として第2推定吸気量を算出する第2推定吸気量算出手段と、
前記内燃機関の負荷を表す負荷パラメータを検出する負荷パラメータ検出手段と、
前記燃料量を、当該負荷パラメータによって表される前記内燃機関の前記負荷が所定の低負荷域にあるときには、前記第1推定吸気量に応じて決定するとともに、前記負荷パラメータによって表される前記内燃機関の前記負荷が当該所定の低負荷域よりも高い所定の高負荷域にあるときには、前記第2推定吸気量に応じて決定する燃料量決定手段と、
を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記所定の低負荷域および前記所定の高負荷域は互いに重複しないように設定されており、
前記燃料量決定手段は、前記負荷パラメータによって表される前記内燃機関の前記負荷が前記所定の低負荷域と前記所定の高負荷域との間にあるときには、前記負荷パラメータを用いて重み付け用の係数を算出し、前記第1推定吸気量および前記第2推定吸気量に対して、当該重み付け用の係数を用いた加重平均演算を施すことによって、算出吸気量を算出するとともに、当該算出吸気量を用いて前記燃料量を決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記空気流量検出手段が故障しているか否かを判定する第1故障判定手段をさらに備え、
前記燃料量決定手段は、当該第1故障判定手段により前記空気流量検出手段が故障していると判定されたときには、前記負荷パラメータの値にかかわらず、前記燃料量を前記第1推定吸気量に応じて算出することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記可変吸気機構が故障しているか否かを判定する第2故障判定手段と、
当該第2故障判定手段により前記可変吸気機構が故障していると判定されたときには、前記吸入空気量が所定値になるように前記可変吸気機構を駆動する駆動手段と、
をさらに備え、
前記燃料量決定手段は、前記第2故障判定手段により前記可変吸気機構が故障していると判定されたときには、前記所定値に応じて前記燃料量を決定することを特徴とする請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記可変吸気機構は、前記内燃機関の吸気カムシャフトのクランクシャフトに対する位相を変更する可変カム位相機構、前記内燃機関の吸気弁のリフトを変更する可変バルブリフト機構、および前記内燃機関の圧縮比を変更する可変圧縮比機構の少なくとも1つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
