Description
前記第2の素材を用いて、前記軌道面形成部分を形成するための軌道面形成用リングを製造し、
前記軌道輪本体部分を複数の部位に分割し、少なくともその一部を、前記第1の素材の粉末を用いてプレ成形し、
鍛造型に、前記軌道面形成用リングとプレ成形体を装着した状態で、前記第1の素材の粉末を用いて粉末鍛造を行うことにより、前記軌道面形成用リング、前記プレ成形体および前記軌道輪本体部分の残りの部位が一体化された円環状の複合部材を製造し、
前記複合部材に表面仕上げ処理などの後処理を施すことを特徴としている。
図1は、本発明により製造された軽量クロスローラベアリングが組み込まれているシルクハット型波動歯車装置を備えた波動歯車装置ユニットの断面図である。図2はシルクハット型波動歯車装置の構成を示す説明図である。
図3を参照して、複合部品である外輪41の製造方法を説明する。まず、ベアリング鋼、ダイス鋼あるいはステンレスチタン合金などから軌道面形成部分412を形成するための軌道面形成用リング412Aを製造する(ステップST1)。また、単一あるいは複数種類の原料粉末を配合・混合して、外輪本体部分411を製造するための金属粉末を用意しておく(ステップST2)。次に、軌道面形成用リング412Aを鍛造型に挿入した状態で、金属粉末を用いて粉末鍛造を行う(ステップST3)。この結果、軌道面形成用リング412Aの外周側に外輪本体部分411を形成するためのリング状部分411Aが一体化された外輪用複合部品41Aが得られる。この複合部品41Aにサイジングなどの後処理を施して(ステップST4)、外輪41が得られる。
上記の例は、クロスローラベアリングに対して本発明を適用したものであるが、ボールベアリングなどのそのほかの形式の軸受に対しても本発明を同様に適用できることは勿論である。

Claims (7)
- 第1の素材から形成されている円環状の軌道輪本体部分と、前記第1の素材に比べて耐磨耗性および硬度の高い第2の素材から形成され、外周面あるいは内周面に転動体の軌道面が形成されている円環状の軌道面形成部分とを有し、これらの部分が同心状態に一体化された構成の軸受軌道輪の製造方法において、
前記第2の素材を用いて、前記軌道面形成部分を形成するための軌道面形成用リングを製造し、
前記軌道輪本体部分を複数の部位に分割し、少なくともその一部を、前記第1の素材の粉末を用いてプレ成形し、
鍛造型に、前記軌道面形成用リングとプレ成形体を装着した状態で、前記第1の素材の粉末を用いて粉末鍛造を行うことにより、前記軌道面形成用リング、前記プレ成形体および前記軌道輪本体部分の残りの部位が一体化された円環状の複合部材を製造し、
前記複合部材に表面仕上げ処理などの後処理を施すことを特徴とする軸受軌道輪の製造方法。 - 請求項1において、
前記軌道輪本体部分をその中心軸線に直交する面で左右に分割した形状の第1および第2の分割片のうちの第1の分割片を、前記第1の素材の粉末を用いてプレ成形し、
鍛造型に、前記軌道面形成用リングと前記第1の分割片とを装着した状態で、前記第1の素材の粉末を用いて粉末鍛造を行うことにより、前記軌道面形成用リング、前記第1の分割片および前記軌道輪本体部分の残りの部位が一体化された円環状の複合部材を製造することを特徴とする軸受軌道輪の製造方法。 - 請求項2において、
前記第1および第2の分割片をプレ成形し、
鍛造型に、前記軌道面形成部分と、前記第1および第2の分割片とを装着した状態で、粉末鍛造を行うことにより、前記軌道面形成用リング、前記第1および第2の分割片が一体化された前記複合部材を製造することを特徴とする軸受軌道輪の製造方法。 - 請求項1ないし3のうちのいずれかの項において、
前記第1の素材は、アルミニウム合金、チタン合金等の軽金属の合金、またはセラミックであることを特徴とする軸受軌道輪の製造方法。 - 請求項1ないし4のうちのいずれかの項において、
前記第2の素材は、ベアリング鋼、ダイス鋼、ダクタイル鋳鉄またはステンレスチタン合金である軸受軌道輪の製造方法。 - 請求項1ないし5のうちのいずれかの項において、
前記軸受軌道輪はクロスローラベアリングの外輪あるいは内輪であることを特徴とする軸受軌道輪の製造方法。 - 請求項1ないし6のうちのいずれかの項に記載の方法により製造されたことを特徴とする軸受軌道輪。
