超硬合金は耐摩耗性に優れるので、破砕刃具の刃部として上手に利用できれば、刃部寿命の延長が図られ、ランニングコストの低減に繋げることが期待できる。しかしながら超硬合金は合金鋼のような一体物としては利用されず、鑞付け接合などによって基本的に刃部にのみ利用される。産業廃棄物のような破砕材料の一定でない材料の破砕は、時として過大な負荷が加わるので、鑞付け層が剥離して固定刃が脱落したりする。鑞付けが不十分であればなおのこと脱落しやすく、また振動の影響も受けやすくなって刃部の損傷を招き易くなる。また、欠けの発生や摩耗の大きさは一律には起きないので、損傷箇所の固定刃だけを簡単に交換できるようになれば都合よい。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明は以上のような課題に鑑みなされたもので、第1に、鋸歯状の刃形を有する固定刃具には超硬合金製の固定刃が備わり、回転刃具に備わる回転刃との噛み合わせにより被破砕物を破砕するようにした破砕機用の固定刃具において、破砕機の所定の位置に、分割した複数の刃具本体を一列に並んだ状態で着脱可能に組み付け、夫々の刃具本体に、少なくとも2以上の鋸歯状の固定刃を有する、複数のカートリッジを並列して取り付けることにより、連続する鋸歯状の固定刃を構成し、前記固定刃が部分的に損傷した際には、損傷した固定刃を備えたカートリッジのみを着脱することによって、前記損傷した固定刃をカートリッジ単位で交換できるようにしたことを特徴とする。
