Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an oil pan structure for an internal combustion engine.
[0002]
[Prior art]
An oil pan is attached to the lower part of the crankcase of the internal combustion engine. This oil pan has a function of storing lubricating oil and preventing leakage of blow-by gas and lubricating oil mist in the crankcase.
[0003]
In general, the oil pan is formed by pressing a steel plate or the like into a pan shape or by casting a light metal such as aluminum. In either case, the oil pan is formed thin. For this reason, a thin flat plate portion includes a large number of resonance modes having different mode shapes and resonance frequencies.
[0004]
By the way, in an internal combustion engine, excitation forces of various frequencies such as in-cylinder pressure fluctuation, inertial force of moving parts, meshing impact of transmission elements such as gears and chains, and seating impact of intake and exhaust valves are generated. Almost all of such excitation force is transmitted to the oil pan from the engine body, excites various membrane resonance modes corresponding to the excitation force, and excites the air around the oil pan, This causes a problem of worsening noise during engine operation. This problem becomes more prominent as the area of the thin flat plate portion of the oil pan is larger. In particular, when the oil pan is composed of a deep bottom portion for storing lubricating oil and other shallow bottom portions, the membrane resonance at the shallow bottom portion where the lubricating oil is not always in contact. Is significantly excited.
[0005]
Further, most of the exciting force generated in the internal combustion engine has a frequency proportional to the rotational speed. In particular, an excitation force having a large amplitude may excite a specific membrane resonance mode at a specific rotation speed and worsen the noise. Due to such a phenomenon, there has been a problem that the noise suddenly deteriorates at a specific rotational speed during transient operation such as acceleration, and the driver may feel uncomfortable.
[0006]
Therefore, conventionally, in view of such problems, the vibration characteristics of the oil pan are improved by providing ribs and steps on the bottom surface of the oil pan (especially the shallow bottom portion) to improve rigidity (for example, Patent Document 1). , See Patent Document 2).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, it is difficult to completely eliminate noise emission from the oil pan even if the rigidity is enhanced as described above. This is because even if the rigidity is strengthened, it is often possible to obtain only the effect of moving the resonance frequency of the membrane resonance mode slightly to the high frequency side, and the rotational speed at which the frequency of the excitation force matches the resonance frequency of the membrane mode. This is because it is often possible to obtain only the effect of shifting to the high speed side. In addition, since the internal combustion engine generates excitation forces of various frequencies, even if the resonance frequency can be moved significantly, a new resonance mode is generated by another type of excitation force different from that before the countermeasure. Noise deterioration may occur. On the other hand, rigidity enhancement causes an increase in weight. As described above, the rigidity enhancement has a demerit of an increase in weight, but there is a possibility that an expected merit cannot be obtained.
[0009]
There are also known variable compression ratio engines, such as those disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 2001-227367 and 2002-61501, in which a piston pin and a crank pin are connected by a sub-link mechanism to make the compression ratio variable. The variable compression ratio engine includes an upper link (first link) connected to a piston, a lower link (second link) connected to the upper link, and a lower link connected to the upper link. A control link (third link) connected to the lower link and an eccentric shaft portion that is supported rotatably by the cylinder block and eccentric with respect to the rotation shaft. The control link is connected to the eccentric shaft portion and rotated. And a control shaft that variably controls the engine compression ratio by adjusting the position of the control link, and the control shaft is rotated by an actuator in accordance with the engine operating state.
[0010]
In this variable compression ratio engine, the piston trajectory with respect to the rotation angle of the crankshaft is different from the conventional internal combustion engine and moves more complicated than the conventional internal combustion engine. In other words, the rotational primary vibration component in which the piston makes one reciprocation with respect to one rotation of the crankshaft is not significantly different from that of the conventional engine, but the integral multiple of the vibration component is generally larger than that of the conventional engine. In some cases, it becomes smaller. Which order of vibration component increases or decreases varies depending on the dimensions and mass characteristics of the links, but generally, higher-order components tend to increase. As described above, the inertial force of the moving part with higher order components is transmitted to the oil pan as described above, and noise emission from the oil pan may be deteriorated.
[0011]
The present invention has been made by paying attention to such conventional problems, and can reduce the radiation noise of the oil pan, and can obtain a great effect particularly in a sub-link engine in which higher-order inertia excitation force is deteriorated. An object of the present invention is to provide an oil pan structure for an internal combustion engine.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention solves the above problems by the following means. In addition, in order to make an understanding easy, although the code | symbol corresponding to embodiment of this invention is attached | subjected, it is not limited to this.
[0013]
The present invention is an internal combustion engine having a piston (22) that reciprocates in a cylinder. The internal combustion engine is arranged at the lower part of the engine and is lowered to a side wall through a center position in the longitudinal direction and the width direction of the bottom surface so as to be orthogonal to the side wall. The oil pan (33) having a recess (33a) formed at a position including at least the intersection of the straight line and the side wall and the recess (33a) of the oil pan side wall are inserted, and the bottom surface of the oil pan (33) is membrane-resonated. The vibrations generated on the bottom surface of the oil pan due to hysteresis attenuation caused by deformation are sandwiched between the engine attachment portion (15) for transmitting the vibration and the recess (33a) on the side wall of the oil pan (33 ) and the engine attachment portion (15). And a vibration suppressing member (16) for suppressing the recess (33a) on the side wall of the oil pan, the lowest point (33d) reaching the bottom surface of the oil pan .
[0014]
[Action / Effect]
In the internal combustion engine, an exciting force having various frequencies is generated as described above, and the membrane resonance mode of the oil pan is excited by this exciting force, and noise may be generated. In the present invention, the vibration suppression member that suppresses the vibration generated on the bottom surface of the oil pan due to the hysteresis attenuation due to deformation is sandwiched between the oil pan and the engine accessory portion. I can do it now. For this reason, the effect which reduces the noise which arises by oil pan resonance over the whole engine speed range can be acquired.
[0015]
