It becomes possible.
However, the technique disclosed in Patent Document 1 has a problem that the load of mail delivery processing increases. In recent years, in addition to an increase in the flow of mail accompanying the spread of the Internet, it is also required to deal with spam mails such as virus mails and spam mails, so that the load of mail delivery processing has increased.
The technique disclosed in Patent Document 1 further increases the processing amount of mail delivery processing, and may cause a delay in mail delivery due to an increase in load.
The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems caused by the prior art, and a mail transmission / reception program capable of realizing mail sharing in groups without increasing the load of mail delivery processing and An object is to provide a mail transmission / reception device.
In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the object, the present invention is a mail transmission / reception program that realizes sharing of an e-mail in a group unit, and includes attribute information of the mail stored in the mail spool. And a mail operation procedure for selecting an operation target mail.
Further, the present invention is a mail transmitting / receiving apparatus that realizes sharing of electronic mail in group units, and includes mail attribute information stored in the mail spool together with information indicating a group to which the mail owner belongs. Index creation means for storing in index information, and mail operation means for selecting an operation target mail by referring to information indicating a group stored in the index information when mail operation in groups is requested It is characterized by comprising.
According to the present invention, the mail attribute information and the information of the group to which the mail owner belongs are stored in the index information for mail stored in the mail spool after the delivery process is completed, and this index information is used. Thus, since the mail is shared in units of groups, the mail can be shared in groups without increasing the load of mail delivery processing.
In the present invention, the computer further executes an authentication procedure for checking the designated ID and password against pre-registered group authentication information, and the mail operation procedure is normal in the authentication procedure. When authentication is performed, it is characterized by responding to mail operations in units of groups.
According to the present invention, when authentication with the group ID and password is successful, it is configured to respond to mail operations in units of groups. Therefore, mail sharing is possible only for users with appropriate authority. Can be realized.
Further, the present invention is the above invention, wherein the authentication procedure performs authentication using user authentication information registered in advance when authentication using group authentication information fails, and the mail operation procedure includes the user operation It is characterized in that it responds to mail operations in units of users when authentication using authentication information is performed normally.
According to the present invention, when authentication as a group fails, authentication is performed as a user using the same ID and password, and when authentication as a user is successful, only mail owned by the user is operated. Since it is configured to be a target, a terminal program that has a user authentication mechanism but does not have a group authentication mechanism can correspond to both a mail operation in a group unit and a mail operation in a user unit.
Further, according to the present invention, in the above invention, when the mail operation procedure requests deletion of mail stored in the mail spool, a flag indicating that the mail has been deleted is set in the index information. If the user deletes the message logically, and the user is asked to operate the mail, the logically deleted mail is excluded from the operation target. This logically deleted mail is an operation target.
According to the present invention, the deletion of the mail in the operation for each user is not performed physically, but is logically deleted, and the mail that is logically deleted in the operation of the group is also set as the operation target. Since it is configured as described above, it is possible to share mail deleted in the operation in units of users.
According to the present invention, the mail attribute information and the information of the group to which the mail owner belongs are stored in the index information for the mail stored in the mail spool after the delivery process is completed, and this index information is used. Thus, since the mail is shared in units of groups, the mail can be shared in groups without increasing the load of mail delivery processing.
In addition, according to the present invention, when authentication with a group ID and password is successful, it is configured so as to respond to mail operations in units of groups, so that only users with appropriate authority can share mail There is an effect that can be realized.
Further, according to the present invention, when authentication as a group fails, authentication is performed as a user using the same ID and password, and when authentication as a user is successful, only mail owned by the user is received. Since it is configured to be an operation target, a terminal program that has a user authentication mechanism but does not have a group authentication mechanism can support both group-based mail operations and user-based mail operations. There is an effect.
In addition, according to the present invention, deletion of mail in the operation in units of users is not performed physically but logical deletion is performed, and in the operation of mail in groups, mail that is logically deleted is also subject to operation. Therefore, it is possible to share the mail deleted in the operation for each user.
Exemplary embodiments of a mail transmission / reception program and a mail transmission / reception apparatus according to the present invention will be described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
First, the outline of the mail sharing method according to the present embodiment will be described. FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram for explaining the outline of the mail sharing method according to the present embodiment.
As shown in the figure, the mail transmitting / receiving
When a new mail is stored in the mail spool in the mail transmitting / receiving
Here, the mail spool is an area for storing a mail delivered to a user registered in the mail transmitting / receiving
There are various mail storage methods in the mail spool. For example, sendmail, which is a typical mail delivery program, provides a file called “mailbox” for each user and stores all the mails of the corresponding users in the file. . Also, qmail, which is another typical mail delivery program, employs a system in which a directory called “maildir” is provided for each user and the corresponding user's mail is stored as one file one by one.
In the mail sharing system according to the present embodiment, any mail storage system in the mail spool may be used, and a mail ID that can uniquely identify the mail in the mail spool is stored in the mail index table 134b. By doing so, the correspondence between the mail index table 134b and the mail in the mail spool is taken.
メールIDは、独自の方式で割り当てたものであってもよいし、IMAP(Internet Message Access Protocol)において個々のメールを識別するためにもちいられるUID(Unique Identifier)等を利用することもできる。 The mail ID may be assigned by a unique method, or a UID (Unique Identifier) used for identifying individual mails in IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol) may be used.
The mail spool is physically or logically managed by dividing the area for each user, and when the mail information stored in the mail spool is stored in the mail index table 134b, the user corresponding to the area where the mail is stored. Are acquired. Then, the user ID is checked against the group member table 134a to obtain the group ID of the group to which the user belongs, and the user ID and group ID are stored in the mail index table 134b together with other information.
The mail transmission /
Furthermore, the mail transmitting / receiving
In addition, when browsing of the body and attached file of a mail is requested after the mail list is inquired, the group ID of the mail requested with reference to the mail index table 134b is an authenticated group ID. After confirmation, the mail body and attached file are acquired from the mail spool based on the mail ID, and a response is made.
As described above, in the mail sharing method according to the present embodiment, the index information storing the header information of the mail and the group information of the mail owner is provided, and by using this information, the mail sharing in the group unit Is realized. Since the creation of the index information is performed after mail delivery is completed and mail is stored in the mail spool , mail sharing can be realized without increasing the load of mail delivery processing.
In addition, since the mail sharing method according to the present embodiment realizes mail sharing using index information provided independently of the mail spool, any type of mail spool can be handled. There is no need to provide a special storage area for sharing.
同図に示すように、メール送受信装置100は、SMTP(Simple Mail Transfer Protocol)機能と、POP(Post Office Protocol)/IMAP機能と、WEBメール機能という3つの基本機能を有する。
Here, basic functions of the mail transmitting / receiving

Specifically, the delivery destination is determined from the header information of the mail requested to be delivered, and the mail is delivered to the decided delivery destination. The mail delivery request source is a terminal device used by a mail sender such as the
The SMTP function adds a function that detects spam mails such as virus mail and spam mail, eliminates mail detected as spam mail, and adds information indicating that it was detected as spam mail to the mail header. You can also
The POP / IMAP function is a function for receiving or browsing a mail stored in the mail spool in the mail transmitting / receiving
この機能は、HTTP(HyperText Transfer Protocol)に基づいてユーザの要求を受け付け、必要に応じてSMTP機能やPOP/IMAP機能を内部的に呼び出してメールの送受信を実現する。 The WEB mail function is a function that enables transmission / reception of mail on a WEB browser. This function accepts a user's request based on HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) and internally calls the SMTP function and the POP / IMAP function as necessary to realize transmission / reception of mail.
There are roughly two types of forms in which the user uses the function of the mail transmitting / receiving
The other form is a form in which the user operates the

FIG. 7 is a functional block diagram showing a configuration of the operation
The group member table 134a holds information regarding group members. As shown in FIG. 8, the group member table 134a has items such as a group ID, a user ID, and an email address, and one piece of data is created for each member of the group.
The group ID is the ID of the group to which the member belongs and corresponds to the group ID in the group authentication table 131b. The member ID is an ID for identifying a member, and corresponds to the user ID in the user authentication table 131a. The email address is a member's email address.
The mail index table 134b holds various attribute information of mail stored in the
The mail ID is an ID for identifying a mail stored in the
The deletion flag is a flag for logically managing whether or not the mail has been deleted. When the value of the deletion flag is “1”, it means that the mail is logically deleted, and when it is “0”, it means that the mail is not deleted.
In the mail sharing method according to the present embodiment, mail stored in the area of each user in the mail spool is shared by the group by referring to the mail index table 134b. If an email is deleted, it will no longer be shared.
Therefore, in normal use, the mail in the mail spool is not physically deleted, but is logically deleted using the deletion flag. If authentication is performed by the user ID, the value of the deletion flag The processing is performed on the assumption that there is no mail with “1”. On the other hand, when the authentication is performed by the group ID, the mail having the deletion flag value “1” is also set as the target of processing such as browsing and is included in the sharing target.
In addition, when it is necessary to physically delete mail in the mail spool for reasons such as storage area limitations, a person with special authority such as a system administrator handles it.
“to”, “from”, “subject”, and “date” are information extracted from the mail header. In the mail index table 134b, other information in the mail header may be stored as necessary, or other information related to the mail may be stored.

The mail
However, although POP and IMAP have a user authentication procedure, they do not have a group authentication procedure. For this reason, when the

In addition, by changing the setting, first, the user authentication is performed by handing over the ID and password to the

The
The

FIG. 12 is a sample diagram showing an example of the group authentication screen. As shown in the figure, the group authentication screen has items for inputting a group ID and a password. When the user inputs such information and presses the login button, the input information is transmitted to the mail transmitting / receiving
FIG. 13 is a sample diagram showing an example of the group mail list display screen. As shown in the figure, the group mail list display screen displays a list of results obtained by searching the mail index table 134b for information having the same group ID as the ID authenticated on the group authentication screen. The “subject” portion of the list is an anchor, and when the user selects this portion with a mouse or the like, the text of the mail is displayed.
Also, at the top of the list, there is a list consisting of a list of group member names, so that when a specific member is selected and the search button is pressed, only the mail information owned by that member is displayed in a list Become. There is also an item “All” in the list of member names, and when “All” is selected and the search button is pressed, the mail information of all members of the group is displayed again.

Various processes of the mail transmission /
FIG. 15 is a functional block diagram illustrating a computer that executes a mail transmission / reception program. The

Since this index information is used to share mail in groups, mail sharing in groups can be realized without increasing the load of mail delivery processing.
