BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to drive control of a shift actuator including an electric motor that performs a shift operation of a transmission mounted on a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A large truck or bus having a large shift operation force in a shift operation is provided with a shift assist device for reducing the shift operation force. The shift assist device equipped in such a large vehicle generally uses compressed air as its operating source. A shift assist device using compressed air as an operation source includes a shift actuator including a pneumatic cylinder that operates a shift operation mechanism coupled to a shift lever in the same direction as the shift operation of the shift lever. However, since a large vehicle generally uses compressed air as a brake operating source, this compressed air can be used in a shift assist device. However, a compressor as a compressed air source is provided like small and medium-sized vehicles. A vehicle that is not equipped with a shift assist device using a shift actuator composed of a pneumatic cylinder cannot be equipped. However, in recent years, there has been a growing demand to equip small and medium-sized vehicles with a shift assist device, and a shift assist device including a shift actuator composed of an electric motor has been proposed, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 5-87237 and Japanese Patent No. 2987121. It is disclosed in the gazette.
[0003]
A target gear stage instruction for instructing a target gear position of the transmission is provided with a select actuator that operates a speed change mechanism for the transmission in the select direction and a shift actuator that operates the speed change mechanism in the shift direction. A transmission that controls a select actuator and a shift actuator based on a shift instruction from the means has been put into practical use. As the select actuator and the shift actuator, a fluid pressure cylinder using a fluid pressure such as air pressure or oil pressure as a working source is generally used. However, for a transmission mounted on a vehicle not equipped with a compressed air source or a fluid pressure source. A select actuator and a shift actuator constituted by an electric motor have been proposed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Thus, when a shift operation is performed by driving a shift actuator composed of an electric motor, the driving time of the electric motor becomes long unless the synchronization operation of the transmission synchronizer is completed within a predetermined time. The motor may burn out.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described facts, and a main technical problem thereof is to provide a shift control device for a transmission that can prevent burning of an electric motor constituting a shift actuator.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to the present invention, in order to solve the main technical problem,
"Multiple gears andA transmission provided with a synchronizer, and a transmission operation mechanism for performing a transmission operation of the transmission; And at the time of gear disengagement and gear-in of the transmissionA shift actuator composed of an electric motor that operates the shift operation mechanism in the shift direction, a shift stroke sensor that detects a shift stroke position of the shift operation mechanism, and a target of the shift actuator based on a detection signal from the shift stroke sensor In a shift control device for a transmission comprising a controller for determining drive power,
The target drive power isDuring gear-in,The shift stroke position of the speed change operation mechanism becomes the maximum value in the synchronization range from the position where the synchronization action starts to the position where it ends.At the position where the synchronization action ends, the intermediate value is set to be smaller than the maximum value, and at the time of gear release, the value is set to be smaller than the intermediate value in the range from the start of gear release to the end position. In addition,
The controller obtains the maximum applicable power corresponding to the temperature of the electric motor, compares the maximum applicable power with the target drive power, and if the target drive power is less than the maximum applicable power, the target drive The shift actuator is driven by electric power, and when the target driving power is larger than the maximum applicable power, the shift actuator is driven by the maximum applicable power.
A shift control apparatus for a transmission is provided.

Where V is the motor applied voltage and I is the motor applied current.
Since the motor applied voltage (V) is initially in a range where the shift stroke position P is greater than or equal to P5a and smaller than P5 in this case, it is set as the target applied voltage V3 in this range. The motor applied current (I) is calculated from the motor applied voltage (V) and the motor resistance (R) (I = V ÷ R). As the motor resistance, the design resistance value of the electric motor 81 (M1) is used, and this resistance value varies with temperature, but is constant in the illustrated embodiment. Next, the heat dissipation value (H) of the electric motor 81 (M1) is calculated by the following mathematical formula (2).

[Expression 2]
Where T is the motor temperature and t is the atmospheric temperature of the transmission.
The motor temperature is initially set to 30 ° C., which is the initial set temperature (T0). The atmospheric temperature (t) of the transmission is, for example, 60 ° C. as the atmospheric temperature of the transmission in which the vehicle is traveling. When the motor power consumption and the motor heat dissipation value are obtained in this way, the motor temperature (T) is calculated by the following equation (3).

However, C1 is a constant for converting the motor power consumption into the rising temperature.
The previous motor temperature (T) is initially set to 30 ° C., which is the initial set temperature (T0).

In step P5, when the maximum applicable power (WM) determined in step P2 is larger than the target motor driving power (W0) obtained in step P4, the electric motor 81 (M1) is driven with the target motor driving power (W0). In this case, since the shift stroke position P is in the range of P2 or more and smaller than P5a, the target applied voltage (V0) in this range is set to V2. Therefore, when the maximum applicable power (WM) determined in step P2 is larger than the target motor driving power (W0) obtained in step P4, the electric motor 81 (M1) is driven with the target motor driving power (W0). Since there is no possibility that the electric motor 81 (M1) will be burned, the electric motor 81 (M1) is driven with the target applied voltage (V0), that is, the voltage V2 in this case. On the other hand, when the maximum applicable power (WM) determined in step P2 is equal to or less than the target motor drive power (W0) obtained in step P4, the electric motor 81 (M1) is electrically driven by driving the target motor drive power (W0). Since there is a risk of the motor 81 (M1) being burned, the drive power (W) of the electric motor 81 (M1) is determined as the maximum applicable power (WM) in step P6 and the maximum applicable power (WM) in step P7. Based on (WM), the applied voltage (V) for driving the electric motor 81 (M1) is calculated by the above equation (5).

If the shift stroke position P is greater than or equal to P7 and less than P10 in step S12, the
In this case, since the shift stroke position P exists in the range of P1 and P2 from the determination results of step S6, step S8, step S9, step S10 and step S12, the target applied voltage (V0) in this range is V1. Therefore, when the maximum applicable power (WM) determined in step P2 is larger than the target motor driving power (W0) obtained in step P4, the electric motor 81 (M1) is driven with the target motor driving power (W0). Since there is no possibility that the electric motor 81 (M1) will be burned, the electric motor 81 (M1) is driven by the target applied voltage (V0), that is, the voltage V1 in this case.

In this case, since the shift stroke position P is in the range of P7 or more and smaller than P7a, the target applied voltage (V0) in this range is V3. Therefore, when the maximum applicable power (WM) determined in step P2 is larger than the target motor driving power (W0) obtained in step P4, the electric motor 81 (M1) is driven with the target motor driving power (W0). Since there is no possibility that the electric motor 81 (M1) will burn, the electric motor 81 (M1) is driven by the target applied voltage (V0), that is, the voltage V3 in this case.
[0044]
If the shift stroke position P is not less than P7a and not greater than P7a in step S17, the
In this case, since the shift stroke position P is in the range of P7a or more and smaller than P10, the target applied voltage (V0) in this range is V2.

In this case, since the shift stroke position P exists in the range of P1 and P2 from the determination results of step S16, step S17, step S18, step S19, and step S20, the target applied voltage (V0) in this range is V1.

As described above, the example in which the present invention is applied to the shift assist device of the transmission based on the illustrated embodiment has been described, but the present invention is not limited only to the embodiment. For example, a so-called power shift transmission that drives an actuator based on a shift instruction from a target shift stage instructing means that instructs a target shift stage of the transmission, or a shift actuator of an automatic transmission is configured by an electric motor. The present invention can also be applied to the transmission mechanism. In the case of a shift actuator for a power shift type transmission or an automatic transmission, the target motor drive power (W0) is set according to the distance between the target shift stroke position (gear-in position or neutral position) and the current shift stroke position, for example. The

That is, according to the present invention, the maximum applicable power corresponding to the temperature of the electric motor that constitutes the shift actuator is obtained, and the maximum applicable power and the target drive power determined based on the shift stroke position are compared. When the drive power is less than the maximum applicable power, the shift actuator is driven by the target drive power, and when the target drive power is greater than the maximum applicable power, the shift actuator is driven by the maximum applicable power. Burnout of the electric motor constituting the actuator can be prevented beforehand. The target drive power is the shift stroke position that requires the largest operating force in the speed change operation mechanism, that is,When gearing inIt becomes the maximum value in the synchronization range from the position where the synchronization action starts to the position where it ends,It is set to be an intermediate value smaller than the maximum value after the end of the synchronization action, and is set to be a value smaller than the intermediate value when the gear is released. As a result, the amount of heat generated in the electric motor is reduced and the temperature rise is prevented, and the possibility of burning out of the electric motor can be reduced as much as possible.
