Claims (4)
- 排気中の粒子状物質を捕集するフィルタを少なくとも収納した筒形の第1の筐体と、液体還元剤により窒素酸化物を還元浄化する還元触媒を少なくとも収納した筒形の第2の筐体と、を互いの軸線がほぼ平行となるようにして近接配置すると共に、
これら両筐体の遠端部どうしを連結する連通管を、該連通管の軸線が前記筐体の軸線に対し傾斜するように配管してあり、
前記第1の筐体から前記連通管を経由して前記第2の筐体へ至る排気の流路が概略N字状とされ、
排気中に前記液体還元剤を噴射するノズルが前記連通管に配設されていることを特徴とする排気浄化装置。 - 前記第1の筐体の前記フィルタよりも排気上流側に、排気中の一酸化窒素を二酸化窒素に酸化する酸化触媒を収納してあることを特徴とする請求項1記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記第2の筐体の前記還元触媒よりも排気下流側に、排気中のアンモニアを酸化するアンモニア酸化触媒を収納してあることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の排気浄化装置。
- 前記連通管は、前記第1の筐体との接続部分近傍にエルボ部が形成されると共に該エルボ部から前記第2の筐体との接続部分までの間に直線部が形成され、該直線部の軸線が前記筐体の軸線に対し傾斜しており、
前記エルボ部に前記ノズルが配設されて前記直線部へ向けて前記液体還元剤を噴射するようになっていることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の排気浄化装置。
