Claims (14)
- イメージの生成用に動作可能なイメージ表示生成器であって、
第1面と第2面とを有し、前記第1面に複数のレンズを有する透明な基板材料のシートと、
前記シートの前記第2面上に配置された半導体材料の層と、
前記半導体材料の層に形成された複数の選択的に動作可能な光生成素子と
を具備し、
各々の前記光生成素子は、各々の前記光生成素子から発光された光が各レンズへ向かう第1方向と、該第1方向に対して反対の方向である第2方向とに向かうように各々の前記レンズに対して整列しており、
前記イメージ表示生成器は、
前記半導体材料を覆って配置された透明な絶縁材料の層と、
前記絶縁材料を覆って配置された反射性材料の層と
を具備し、
前記反射性材料の層は、第2方向の光を、各々の光生成素子から受け、かつ、それぞれの整列されたレンズへ反射させて戻すためのものであり、この結果、前記それぞれの各レンズは、前記イメージ表示生成器からの投影のために、それぞれの各光生成素子により生じた第1および第2方向の光をコリメートし、
前記透明な絶縁材料の層は、該絶縁材料の表面上に形成された複数の輪郭づけられた領域を具備し、該領域の表面が前記反射性材料の層で覆われた複数の輪郭づけられた反射部は、前記光生成素子および前記レンズと1対1に整列して形成され、
前記複数の輪郭づけられた反射部の曲率はコリメートされた光線を保証するようにされていることを特徴とするイメージ表示生成器。 - 前記透明な基板材料のシートは、熱導体である材料を具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- 前記透明な基板材料のシートは、サファイアであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- 前記複数のレンズは、アレイの状態で構成設定され、かつ、マイクロ機械加工により形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- 前記半導体材料の層は、GaAsおよびGaAlAsのうちの1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- 前記複数の光生成素子は、LEDからなるアレイであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- 前記複数の光生成素子は、VCSELからなるアレイであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- 前記透明な絶縁材料の層は、SiO2であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- 前記反射性材料の層は、アルミニウムであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- 各々の前記光生成素子は、LED又はVCSELのいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- 各々の前記光生成素子は、個々に動作可能な複数のLED、又は、個々に動作可能な複数のVCSELのいずれかを具備することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージ表示生成器。
- コリメートされた光線から形成されたイメージを投影するためのイメージ表示生成器を形成するための方法であって、
第1面と第2面とを有する透明な基板材料のシートの第1面に、複数のレンズを形成する段階と、
基板の第2面上に半導体材料の層を配置する段階と、
基板の第2面上に配置された半導体材料の層に、複数の光生成素子を形成する段階と
を具備し、
各々の前記光生成素子は、各々の前記光生成素子から発光された光が各レンズへ向かう第1方向と、該第1方向に対して反対の方向である第2方向とに向かうように各々の前記レンズに対して整列しており、
前記方法は、
透明な絶縁材料の層を、半導体材料を覆って配置する段階と、
反射性材料の層を、絶縁材料の層を覆って配置する段階と
を具備し、
前記反射性材料の層は、各々の光生成素子からの第2方向の光を受け、かつ、該反射性材料の層からそれぞれのレンズへ反射させて戻すためのものであり、この結果、それぞれの各レンズは、それぞれの整列された光生成素子により生じた第1および第2方向の光を受け、コリメートし、かつ、前記イメージ表示生成器から外側へ投影し、
前記透明な絶縁材料の層は、該絶縁材料の表面上に形成された複数の輪郭づけられた領域を具備し、該領域の表面が前記反射性材料の層で覆われた複数の輪郭づけられた反射部は、前記光生成素子および前記レンズと1対1に整列して形成され、
前記複数の輪郭づけられた反射部の曲率はコリメートされた光線を保証するようにされていることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記レンズを形成する段階は、基板材料の第1面内にレンズをマイクロ機械加工する段階を具備することを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記透明な基板材料のシートは、サファイアであることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
