Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a thin-headed screw that can be used without causing any trouble in the screwing fastening function as a screw without causing the head of the screw screwed into the workpiece to protrude from the workpiece and impairing the aesthetics of the workpiece. .
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent electrical appliances and information equipment products, many of them are used which are improved in performance and relatively small in size, but among them, the thickness is thin so that it is convenient to carry, for example, electronic notebook, personal computer, Electronic devices such as mobile phones are widely used. In such a product, it is a condition that it is as light as possible and is as thin as possible, and a small screw having a nominal diameter of 2 mm or less is used as a screw for assembling the product. Therefore, in recent years, a screw having the smallest possible size has been developed. However, as shown in FIG. 3, the head 102 of the screw 101 forms an engagement groove 105 that engages with the driver. The shape of 102 remains the same as before.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in spite of the demand for such a thin product, the fact that it cannot respond to the product miniaturization due to the limitation of the miniaturization of the screw has a great influence on the future assembly work. . In order to solve this problem, a screw with a thinner head is considered compared to a conventional screw with a small nominal diameter, but a driver bit is involved in the head to make the head thinner by forging. Since there is a mating engagement groove, it becomes brittle and the engagement groove reaches the leg of the screw. Therefore, the material of the leg is thinned or broken, and the function of the screw cannot be obtained. In addition, when heat treatment and plating treatment are performed to give the necessary strength to this screw, if the top surface of the head is flat, this head volume is small, so that the heads of each other are in close contact during the processing operation. It is in a state and has problems such as incomplete heat treatment and plating.
[0004]
An object of the present invention is to provide a screw that solves such problems and does not impair the screwing function even with a screw having a thin head and a small nominal diameter.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An object of the present invention, Oite the screw 1 driver bit consists engaging groove 5 and the head 2 formed with the head 2 and integral with it in and to form the screw thread 3 legs 4 for engagement , to form a reinforcing portion 10 of the head side is large screw mountain small taper between the seat surface 7 and the thread 3 of the legs 4 of the head 2, the reinforcement portion 10 of the tapered screw thereunder It is achieved by providing a screw with a thin head having an incomplete thread portion 11 of a thread 3 and a configuration in which a valley bottom of the thread 3 of the incomplete thread portion 11 is located on or outside the taper extension line. The In addition to this, the head 2 can also be achieved by providing a thin-headed screw whose upper surface is formed with a large radius in a cross section along the center line of the screw and has a spherical shape approximating a straight line .
[0006]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a screw including a head 2 and a leg 4 that is integral with the head 2 and has a thread 3. The head 2 of the screw 1 is formed with a cross-shaped engaging groove 5 that engages with a driver bit (not shown) on the center line of the leg 4, and the distal end of the engaging groove 5 is a leg portion. 4 has been reached. The thickness of the head 2 is relatively thinner than that of the head 2 of the normal screw 1. For this reason, the thickness of the head 2 is set to about 1/3 or less of the nominal diameter of the screw 1. ing. The upper surface of the head 2 has a spherical shape similar to a straight line while being formed with a relatively large radius in cross section along the center line of the screw, thereby, the outer periphery of the head portion 2 in the center is the thickness It is thinner than the thickness.
[0007]
The leg 4 close to the seating surface 7 of the head 2 has a diameter that allows the head to be accommodated in the pilot hole of the work 20 and is larger than the thread outer diameter of the leg 4 and the thread side is larger than the thread outer diameter. A small taper-shaped reinforcing portion 10 is formed. The taper of the reinforcing portion 10 has a predetermined thickness between the wall surface 6 of the engaging groove 5 and the angle of the taper is substantially equal to the wall surface angle of the engaging groove 5 with respect to the center line of the leg portion. Or slightly larger. The thread 3 is formed at the lower part of the reinforcing part 10 over the tip of the leg part 4, and the incomplete thread part 11 of the thread 3 is provided on the reinforcing part 10. The incomplete thread portion 11 is formed such that the bottom of the thread 3 is positioned on the taper extension line of the reinforcing portion 10 or on the outside thereof, and the thread 3 is in contact with the wall surface 6 of the engagement groove 5. It is set to have a predetermined thickness in between.
[0008]
In the operation of screwing into the workpiece 20 using such a thin headed screw 1, as shown in FIG. 2, the driver bit is engaged with the engagement groove 5 of the screw 1 against the pilot hole of the workpiece 20. Screw in by transmitting the screwing force. At this time, the screwing force from the driver bit is transmitted from the reinforcing portion 10 to the leg portion 4, and the screw thread 3 is screwed into the workpiece 20 with a predetermined screwing force. Then, when the seat surface 7 of the head 2 is seated on the workpiece 20, the screwing operation is finished.
[0009]
【The invention's effect】
As is apparent from the embodiment described above, the head 2 formed with the engaging groove 5 with which the driver bit engages and the leg formed integrally with the head 2 and formed with the screw thread 3. Oite the screw 1 consisting of 4 which form a reinforcing portion 10 a head side of the large screw mountain small taper between the seat surface 7 and the thread 3 of the legs 4 of the head 2, moreover, the taper The reinforcing part 10 having a shape has an incomplete thread part 11 of the thread 3 at the lower part, and the bottom of the incomplete thread part 11 of the thread 3 formed continuously from the reinforcing part 10 is a taper of the reinforcing part 10. The thin-headed screw 1 is located on the extension line or on the outside thereof. For this reason, in the case of having an engaging groove reaching from the head to the leg, a predetermined thickness is provided between the taper of the reinforcing portion and the wall surface of the engaging groove. Strength can be maintained, and the leg close to the head seating surface is reinforced by the reinforcement, so that when the screw with a small nominal diameter is screwed in, the screwing force is accurately transmitted to the leg and the head is in the middle of screwing. The part is not broken. Furthermore, when heat treatment and plating treatment are performed to give the necessary strength to the screw, the upper surface of the head is formed with a large radius and has a slightly spherical shape . The head is not in close contact, and the surface treatment can be completely performed without unevenness . In addition, it is possible to obtain such a screw used for a small and relatively thin product without impairing the original screwing function as a screw. Specific effects such as being able to be assembled can be obtained.
