Claims (5)
- 交流電源に接続され直流電圧を得る力率改善回路と、力率改善回路の直流電圧をトランスの1次巻線に入力しスイッチング素子によりオン/オフして別の直流電圧に変換し無負荷又は軽負荷時にスイッチング周波数が低下又は間欠発振に移行するDC−DCコンバータとを備えたスイッチング電源装置であって、
前記トランスの2次巻線に発生する電圧を整流し第1平滑コンデンサで平滑して負荷へ供給する第1整流平滑回路と、
前記トランスの制御巻線に発生する電圧を整流し第2平滑コンデンサで平滑する第2整流平滑回路と、
この第2整流平滑回路の出力リップルが所定値以上になったことを検知したときに、前記スイッチング周波数が低下又は間欠発振に移行したとして前記力率改善回路を停止させる軽負荷検出回路と、
を備え、
前記負荷のインピーダンスと前記第1平滑コンデンサとによる第1時定数より前記軽負荷検出回路のインピーダンスと前記第2平滑コンデンサとによる第2時定数を小さくしたことを特徴とするスイッチング電源装置。 - 前記軽負荷検出回路は、前記第2整流平滑回路の出力電圧の平均値又は該平均値に相当する電圧が基準電圧以下になった場合に、前記出力リップルが前記所定値以上になったことを検知することを特徴とする請求項1記載のスイッチング電源装置。
- 前記力率改善回路は、
前記スイッチング素子とは別のスイッチング素子をオン/オフさせて前記交流電源の交流電源電圧を整流した整流電圧を前記直流電圧に変換させる制御回路と、前記軽負荷検出回路とを有し、前記制御回路及び前記軽負荷検出回路は、集積回路に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載のスイッチング電源装置。 - 直流電圧をトランスの1次巻線に入力しスイッチング素子によりオン/オフして別の直流電圧に変換し無負荷又は軽負荷時にスイッチング周波数が低下又は間欠発振に移行するDC−DCコンバータに接続される力率改善回路であって、
前記スイッチング素子とは別のスイッチング素子をオン/オフさせて交流電源の交流電源電圧を整流した整流電圧を前記直流電圧に変換させる制御回路と、
前記トランスの2次巻線に発生する電圧を整流し第1平滑コンデンサで平滑して負荷へ供給する第1整流平滑回路とは別に設けられ且つ前記トランスの制御巻線に発生する電圧を整流し第2平滑コンデンサで平滑する第2整流平滑回路の出力リップルが所定値以上になったことを検知したときに、前記スイッチング周波数が低下又は間欠発振に移行したとして前記制御回路を停止させる軽負荷検出回路と、
を備え、
前記負荷のインピーダンスと前記第1平滑コンデンサとによる第1時定数より前記軽負荷検出回路のインピーダンスと前記第2平滑コンデンサとによる第2時定数を小さくしたことを特徴とする力率改善回路。 - 前記制御回路及び前記軽負荷検出回路は、集積回路に設けられることを特徴とする請求項4記載の力率改善回路。
