Claims (4)
- イメージデータを処理する移動可能なペン形状の入力デバイスであって、
前記入力デバイスが対象物上に配置され、前記対象物の領域上に発光する赤外光源と、
ソフトウェアによって調節可能なレンズ構成要素と、
前記レンズ構成要素を介して前記対象物の領域のイメージを取り込むとともに、取り込んだイメージのイメージデータであって、インクによって少なくとも部分的に覆われた前記対象物の領域上での前記入力デバイスの動きを表すデータを含むイメージデータを生成するイメージ取込みユニットと、
前記イメージデータを分析処理して、前記イメージデータに基づいて前記対象物に対する前記入力デバイスの位置を表す位置データを生成するプロセッサと、
前記イメージデータ及び位置データを格納するメモリと、
前記イメージデータおよび位置データを前記入力デバイスから外部の処理装置に伝送するトランシーバと、
を備え、
前記イメージ取込みユニットの視野は、対象物に対する前記入力デバイスの軸と実質的に平行な角度だけ前記レンズ構成要素の光軸からオフセットしていることを特徴とする入力デバイス。 - 前記取り込まれたイメージは、少なくとも迷路パターンの一部を含むインク下のコンテンツをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の入力デバイス。
- 移動可能なペン形状の入力デバイスによってイメージデータを処理する方法であって、
前記方法は、
前記対象物の領域上に置かれた前記入力デバイスから赤外光を発するステップと、
前記領域上のイメージをイメージセンサに取り込むステップと、
プロセッサにおいて前記取り込まれたイメージを分析処理して、インクによって少なくとも部分的に覆われた前記対象物の領域上での前記入力デバイスの動きを表すデータを含むイメージデータを生成するステップと、
前記イメージデータに基づいて前記対象物に対する前記入力デバイスの位置を表す位置データを生成するステップと、
前記処理されたイメージデータ及び前記生成された位置データを前記入力デバイスのメモリに格納するステップと、
前記格納されたイメージデータ及び位置データを前記入力デバイスから外部の処理装置に伝送するステップと
を含み、
前記対象物は、ディスプレイの領域の位置情報を提供するイメージパターンを含むコンピューティングデバイスのディスプレイを含み、
前記イメージセンサの視野は、前記対象物に対する前記入力デバイスの軸と実質的に平行な角度だけ前記入力デバイスの前記レンズ構成要素の光軸からオフセットしていることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記取り込まれたイメージは、少なくとも迷路パターンの一部を含むインク下のコンテンツをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。
