Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a front body structure of a vehicle.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The following patent document is known as a conventional technique related to the front body structure of a vehicle, and is shown in FIG.
[0003]
According to the figure, the front vehicle body structure of the vehicle is a structure in which a radiator core support in which a resin portion and a metal portion are integrally formed is assembled to a vehicle body, and the radiator core support is a radiator core support upper portion. And a left and right pillar portion and a radiator core support lower, and a metal side portion is integrally provided on a vehicle outer portion of the pillar portion.
[0004]
The side portion is connected to the front end portion of the front side member extending in the front-rear direction of the vehicle body, and the extension portion end portion extending from the left and right ends of the radiator core support upper to the rear of the vehicle is the front end portion of the hood ridge panel. By being connected, the radiator core support is assembled to the vehicle body.
[0005]
However, since the front side members extend in the front-rear direction at the left and right side ends of the vehicle body, and the front end portions are not fixed, the front side members are shifted to the vertical positions of the front end portions in the vehicle front-rear direction of both front side members due to welding distortion or the like. There arises a problem that the mounting accuracy of the radiator core support is poor due to the occurrence of the above or the difference in the vehicle width direction between both front side members.
[0006]
Thus, when the position of the front end in the vehicle front-rear direction of both front side members is different for each vehicle body, if the radiator core support is forcibly attached, it will be deformed, and the ease of assembly when assembling the radiator, etc. In addition to the worsening of the headlamp, the irradiation position is significantly deviated from the reference.
[0007]
In addition, although the resin core and the metal part are formed integrally with the radiator core support and the rigidity is increased, the radiator core support lower, which is the lower part of the radiator core support, is not supported, and the radiator, the condenser, The radiator core support, which is a frame-like body that supports a fan or the like, is likely to be deformed, and further rigidity needs to be secured.
[0008]
[Patent Document 1]
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-166848 [0009]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to ensure the rigidity of the front end member while improving the mounting accuracy and assembling property between the front end member and the vehicle body in the front end module structure.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A first configuration related to the present invention includes a left and right front side frame extending in the front-rear direction along a wheel apron constituting a side wall of an engine room, and a frame-shaped front that supports a radiator at a front portion of the left and right front side frames. In the front vehicle body structure of a vehicle including an end member, front end portions of the left and right front side frames extend in the vehicle width direction and are connected by a cross member having a closed cross section. recess vertical surface portion is provided which forms a part is formed of the front-end member, so that the vertical wall portion formed in the lower rear end of the synthetic resin of the front end member abuts to said vertical face portion Thus, it is arranged and fixed to the cross member.
[0011]
According to the first configuration, since the front end portions of the left and right front side frames are connected by the cross member extending in the vehicle width direction, the height direction position and the arrangement interval of the front end portions of the left and right front side frames are substantially constant. And since the frame-shaped front end member which supports a radiator is provided in the upper part of the cross member, the attachment precision of a front end member can be improved.
[0012]
Moreover, since the mounting accuracy is improved as described above, the front end member can be mounted without deformation or the like, so that it is possible to improve the assembling property of a member assembled to the front end member, such as a radiator or a headlamp.
[0013]
Further, according to the first configuration, the upper surface of the cross member is formed with a concave portion whose upper side is opened, and the lower portion of the front end member is disposed and fixed in the concave portion. Normally, the front end member is lowered slightly forward of the front side frame in a state where it is suspended from the transport device, and is manually assembled by a worker while adjusting the vertical, horizontal, and longitudinal positions. The front-end member can be easily positioned in the vehicle front-rear direction due to the concave portion on the upper surface, and the assembling accuracy and mountability are improved.
[0014]
Further, according to the first configuration, since the lower part of the front end member is housed and disposed in the recess formed on the upper surface of the cross member, the frame shape of the front end member can be increased, and heat from a radiator or the like can be obtained. The exchanger can be made larger and the cooling performance is improved.
[0015]
In a second configuration relating to the present invention, the cross member has a closed cross-sectional shape as viewed from the side of the vehicle.
[0016]
According to the second configuration, since the cross-sectional view of the cross member has a closed cross-sectional shape, the deformation of the cross member is suppressed, and accordingly, the front end member fixed on the cross member is also deformed. It is suppressed.
[0017]
According to a third configuration of the present invention, the lower end portions of the left and right end portions of the front end member are connected and fixed to the cross member via the first bracket.
[0018]
According to the third configuration, the lower end portions of the left and right end portions of the front end member, that is, the left and right lower corner portions of the frame-shaped front end member are supported and fixed by the first bracket. By fixing the left and right lower corner portions, it is difficult for twisting to occur, and rigidity can be secured.
[0019]
Further, the first bracket is connected and fixed to the cross member, that is, the first bracket is fixed to the cross member so as to correspond to the left and right width of the front end member. The positioning accuracy is improved and the assemblability is improved.
[0020]
In the present invention, the front end member may be made of any material such as synthetic resin or metal. However, in the case of a synthetic resin front end member, the first bracket improves the above-described ease of assembly and secures the rigidity at the same time. In the case of the obtained metal front end member, the first bracket mainly contributes to the improvement of the assembling property.
[0021]
According to a fourth configuration of the present invention, the cross members are connected via connecting members extending downward from the left and right front side frames.
[0022]
According to the fourth configuration, the cross member is connected via a connecting member extending downward from the left and right front side frames. That is, the cross member extends in the vehicle width direction at a position one step lower from the lower surfaces of the left and right front side frames via the connection members. In the vehicle front-rear direction view, the left and right front side frames and the left and right connection members The cross member is a concave structure. Therefore, when the front end member is installed on the upper surface of the cross member, positioning in the vehicle width direction can be achieved by lowering the frame portions at the left and right ends of the front end member along the inner surface of the connecting member and the front side frame in the vehicle width direction. Becomes easier and the assembly accuracy is improved.
[0023]
Further, when the front end member is installed and fixed on the upper surface of the cross member, the frame portions at the left and right ends of the front end member are adjacent to the connecting member and the inner side in the vehicle width direction of the front side frame. It is also possible to fix the left and right frame parts of the front end member to the front part via another bracket. In this case, the number of fixing points increases, and further improvement in rigidity can be expected.
[0024]
According to a fifth configuration of the present invention, a second bracket having a projecting surface portion projecting forward from the cross member and a suspended lower surface portion depending from the front end portion of the projecting surface portion is provided in the intermediate region in the vehicle width direction of the cross member. The hanging lower surface portion is connected to a bumper face rear vertical wall surface portion hanging from the lower rear side of the bumper face extending in the vehicle width direction at the front end portion of the vehicle.
[0025]
According to the fifth configuration, the second bracket can be easily attached to the cross member. Here, the second bracket has a structure having a projecting surface portion projecting forward from the cross member and a suspended lower surface portion depending from the front end portion of the projecting surface portion in the vehicle width direction intermediate region of the cross member. Is connected to the vertical rear wall surface of the bumper face that hangs down the lower part of the bumper face extending in the vehicle width direction at the front end of the vehicle, thereby increasing the support rigidity of the bumper face and trying to sink into the lower part of the vehicle body from the lower part of the bumper. A function as a member that dispels an obstacle to be performed can be given to the hanging bottom surface portion and the rear vertical wall surface portion. And in order to exhibit such a function of clearing the obstacle, there is a possibility that the bumper face is usually deformed only by the rear vertical wall surface portion of the bumper face formed by the synthetic resin. If the portion is supported, the effect can be further enhanced.
[0026]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, in the front end module structure, it is possible to ensure the rigidity of the front end member while improving the mounting accuracy and assembling property between the front end member and the vehicle body.
