【0037】
例えば、系列局FM群馬放送は、86.3MHz(前橋)、82.2MHz(榛名)、79.4MHz(利根)、76.7MHz(草津)、77.8MHz(沼田)が、系列局NHK群馬放送は、81.6MHz(前橋)、80.5MHz(榛名)、83.8MHz(利根)、84.2MHz(草津)、83.4MHz(沼田)がネット局として存在する。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is a vehicle FM tuner for detecting interference in a vehicle FM tuner that quickly determines the presence or absence and degree of interference from a noise component in a specific band included in the output of an electric field strength meter at the time of multipath interference of received radio waves or adjacent interference. The present invention relates to a program for causing a microcomputer that controls a determination circuit and a tuner circuit to function as automatic tuning means.
[0002]
[Prior art]
One of the factors that cause reception failure in FM tuners is the so-called multipath (multipath propagation) in which the direct wave and reflected wave of the FM wave cause mutual interference due to the time difference level difference and the sound becomes muddy or noise such as surreal. There is also interference.
[0003]
In particular, in the in-vehicle FM tuner, the location changes depending on the driving of the car, so the multipath interference is a troublesome inevitable reception obstacle that changes every moment.
[0004]
Another factor of reception failure is adjacent interference. This is interference (so-called interference) in which adjacent stations with close frequency get noise due to interference of sideband spread, especially in urban areas because there are many FM stations mixed together. Become.
[0005]
However, the current high-end in-vehicle FM tuner has a separate detection circuit for detecting each noise generation factor such as multipath interference or adjacent interference, and when each interference occurs. Usually, countermeasures for detecting this and reducing noise are taken.
[0006]
For example, as a detection method for multipath interference, the FM composite signal undergoes phase modulation during multipath interference, and in particular, a pilot signal (19 KHz) in the FM composite signal is affected, and therefore harmonics are generated. Since the sub-signal (LR) component included in the FM composite signal is AM-modulated at 38 KHz, which is twice that of the pilot signal, many multipath levels are generated in the sub-signal band (23 to 53 KHz). For this reason, detection means using the above harmonics is considered as a multipath detection method. There is also a detection means that uses, as a trigger, the amount of multipath level in the frequency component of the AM component of the electric field strength meter output (so-called S meter output) after detection at the IF stage.
[0007]
Next, as noise countermeasures when multipath interference occurs, the stereo separation (separation between left and right (L, R) when receiving FM stereo broadcast) is changed according to the temporal fluctuation of the electric field strength of the FM received radio wave. If the disturbance is large, the microcomputer automatically performs control (such as MDS (Multipath Dependent Stereo) control), such as switching from stereo to monaural to temporarily reduce the harshness of hearing. There is a means for performing high cut control for attenuating high frequency components in the audio band when is less than a predetermined value.
[0008]
Next, as a detection method for adjacent interference, IF counting is performed and a frequency tolerance is determined (for example, if there is about 10.7 MHz ± 20 KHz, there is no interference, and if the frequency tolerance is ± 30 KHz, it is determined that there is interference). Take measures to switch to.
[0009]
In general, countermeasures against noise at the time of occurrence of the interference are performed in software by a program for causing the microcomputer to function as control means of the tuner circuit.
[0010]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional interference detection circuit as a means for determining the quality of the reception state is a configuration in which the multipath interference detection circuit and the adjacent interference detection circuit are separately incorporated in the FM tuner. The interference could not be detected and the circuit configuration was complicated. Further, there was no disturbance detection circuit that can be externally used for an existing FM tuner pack (module).
[0011]
In general, since multipath interference is detected at 38 KHz or less, there is a high possibility of malfunction by 100% modulation.
[0012]
In addition, it is usually necessary to determine a certain amount of time (40 to 64 ms) by the conventional adjacent interference IF count, and the situation of multipath interference and adjacent interference changes from moment to moment as in an in-vehicle FM tuner. In some cases, the reaction was too slow.
[0013]
In addition, when the signal strength of the FM broadcast station currently being received has been reduced, this has not been detected and any improvement has not been made.
[0014]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and by simultaneously detecting multipath interference and adjacent interference by a single detection circuit and instantaneously determining them, an optimum FM reception environment can be instantaneously realized by a microcomputer using a microcomputer. An FM tuner disturbance detection / determination circuit that can be controlled automatically, and an automatic tuning program that automatically jumps to a network station with good signal quality when the reception status deteriorates due to multipath interference, adjacent interference, or signal strength reduction. provide.
[0015]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention
(1) A disturbance detection / determination circuit for an in-vehicle FM tuner, the means for extracting a noise component near 72 KHz of the electric field strength meter output in the tuner circuit, and the means for amplifying the extracted noise component near 72 KHz A judgment means for judging the interference of an in-vehicle FM tuner, comprising: a judgment means for simultaneously judging the presence or absence of adjacent interference and multipath interference from the amplified noise component in the vicinity of 72 KHz in the same circuit. By providing this, the above-mentioned problems are achieved.
(2) The determination means for determining the presence or absence of the interference includes a pulse conversion circuit that converts the amplified noise component into a pulse, a pulse counter circuit that counts the number of pulses in a predetermined time, and the counted number of pulses. The above-mentioned object is achieved by providing a disturbance detection / determination circuit for an in-vehicle FM tuner as described in (1) above , comprising a determination circuit that determines that there is interference when the number is greater than or equal to a predetermined number. .
(3) A determination means for determining the presence or absence of interference includes a pulse conversion circuit that converts the amplified noise component into a pulse, a pulse counter circuit that counts the number of pulses in a predetermined time, and the counted number of pulses. The above-described object is achieved by providing a disturbance detection / determination circuit for an in-vehicle FM tuner as described in (1) above , which comprises a determination circuit that determines the degree of disturbance accordingly.
(4) The microcomputer that controls the tuner circuit of the in-vehicle FM tuner is actually received from the output of the interference detection / determination circuit for multipath interference and adjacent interference based on the noise component in the vicinity of 72 kHz and the output of the signal strength detection circuit. Means for determining whether the reception status of the FM broadcast station is good or not, and if the reception status is determined to be bad, broadcast frequency data of the network station that is broadcasting the same as the FM broadcast station being received in advance in the memory device Means for automatically searching from the recorded broadcast station net list; means for jumping to the broadcast frequency of the searched net station; and output of the disturbance detection / determination circuit to determine whether the signal quality of the net station is immediately after the jump. Means for determining from the output of the signal strength detection circuit; means for changing the reception setting to the net station when the signal quality satisfies a certain condition; The above-described problem is achieved by providing an automatic tuning program for an in-vehicle FM tuner for functioning.

As a result, a noise component of the same level common during multipath interference and adjacent interference is included in Vsm in a certain place (in the vicinity of 72 KHz, in other words, It has been found that it occurs in a range of approximately ± 5 KHz centered at 72 KHz.
[0025]
That is, in FIG. 2, (a) a good reception state without interference, (b) adjacent interference, and (c) multipath interference, it can be seen that the spectrum is 72 kHz when multipath interference and adjacent interference. A noise component of the same level appears in the adjacent bands.
[0026]
Therefore, a noise component common to the multipath interference and adjacent interference in the band near the frequency of 72 KHz is extracted from the field strength meter output Vsm by the bandpass filter, and is amplified by the same interference detection / determination circuit. It was found that it is possible to detect both multipath interference and adjacent interference simultaneously. In other words, if a band component in the vicinity of 72 kHz of Vsm is always searched at the time of FM reception, a noise component due to the interference always appears in the band in the vicinity of 72 kHz when multipath interference, adjacent interference, or both interferences occur. It was found that the presence or absence of interference can be determined instantaneously (about 10 ms) by detecting.

In the flow chart of automatic tuning in FIG. 7, the presence or absence of noise is always monitored in the FM reception state, the presence or absence of multipath interference, the presence or absence of adjacent interference, and the signal strength are judged to be satisfactory. If not, the affiliated station of the FM broadcast station currently being received is automatically searched from the broadcast station net list of the

[0038]
Therefore, when the signal quality of FM broadcast reception deteriorates while moving across the broadcast area in a car, etc., it is automatically tuned to a nearby network station of the same broadcast with better signal quality. You will be able to listen to FM radio broadcasts.
[0039]
【The invention's effect】
Since the disturbance detection / determination circuit of the in-vehicle FM tuner according to the present invention is configured as described above,
(1) It has an excellent effect that it is possible to detect both multipath interference and adjacent interference with a single interference detection circuit.
[0040]
(2) The interference detection circuit can be added later to the conventional tuner unit.
[0041]
(3) It is possible to instantaneously detect multipath interference and adjacent interference, and it has an excellent effect that it is possible to quickly improve audibility with respect to the interference by software control by the microprocessor.
[0042]
(4) Since the degree of interference can be digitally grasped by pulse counting by pulse conversion of noise components including multipath interference and adjacent interference, it is easy to control the noise reduction means thereafter.
[0043]
(5) When the signal quality of the FM radio broadcast being received is deteriorated, tuning is automatically performed on another network station having a better signal quality.
