Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a structure of a rear viewing window provided in a rear portion of a foldable hood provided in an automobile called a so-called cabriolet (open car).
[0002]
[Prior art]
For example, as shown in FIG. 5, the open car 1 is provided with a hood 10 for covering a roof portion and a rear surface portion (including a part of the left and right side surfaces) from the rear end of the roof portion to the front end of the trunk 2. Yes. Normally, a rear viewing window 11 is provided on the rear surface portion of the hood 10, and the window 11 may be made of, for example, a non-flexible transparent plate made of synthetic resin.
In addition to the detachable type, the hood 10 is provided with a foldable type that can be folded and stored in the hood storage chamber 3 set in the front chamber of the trunk 2 as shown in FIGS. The foldable hood 10 has a lower end portion 10a of the rear surface portion fixed along the front end edge of the trunk room 2, and protrudes forward when in use so that the front frame 12 extends along the upper end edge of the front window (not shown). The front frame 12 is removed from the front window side when not in use and is stored in the hood storage chamber 3 in a substantially double-folded state or a three-folded state when not in use. . In addition, in order to form the roof portion with the hood, a center frame 13 that forms the rear end of the roof portion is required in addition to the front frame 12, and the center frame 13 pivotally supports the lower end of a pipe-like member on the vehicle body. In many cases, the hood 10 is pushed and supported from below.
[0003]
As shown in FIG. 7, the foldable hood 10 is preferably housed in an appropriate state in which the window 11 is placed on the bottom surface 3a of the hood housing chamber 3 over the entire surface. In the suspended state in which the frame floats from the bottom surface 3a, for example, the center frame 13 gets on and interferes with the window 11, and a load is applied to the end portion 11a. From the viewpoint of poor visibility due to scratches on the plate, it cannot be said to be a preferable storage state. Therefore, the length A (B) of the rear portion of the hood 10 below the lower end portion 11a of the window 11 (hereinafter referred to as “window lower portion 10b”) is lengthened in a range where it does not hit during storage. The window 11 can be stored in an appropriate state in which the window 11 does not float from the bottom surface 3 a of the storage chamber 3.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, if the length A (B) of the window lower portion 10b is set to be long, the visibility of the rear lower side by the window 11 is narrowed when the hood 10 is used. There was a problem that it was not visible from the seat.
[0005]
In FIG. 6, since the length A of the window lower part 10b is set to be short, the field of view on the lower rear side is ensured. However, as shown by a two-dot chain line in the figure, the window 11 is in the bottom surface when the hood 10 is stored. 3a shows a state in which the front frame 12 is positioned so as to rest on the window 11 that has been lifted up, and is thus stored in an unfavorable state. On the other hand, in FIG. 7, since the length B of the window lower portion 10b is set long (A <B), the hood 10 is accommodated in an appropriate state with the window 11 placed on the bottom surface 3a. In use, the rear lower field of view is narrower than in the case of FIG. 6, and as a result, the rear end of the trunk 2 cannot be seen.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a hood window structure capable of ensuring the rear visibility of a window when the hood is used while ensuring an appropriate storage state of the hood when folded.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
For this reason, this invention set it as the window structure of the structure as described in each said claim.
According to the window structure of the first to third aspects, in the state where the hood is overhanging at the use position, the overhang angle of the lower portion of the window below the window of the hood cloth is loosened. The bottom edge of the rear cutout of the hood cloth is displaced to a lower position, so that the rear view is wider on the lower side. In this way, the rear view is made wider by loosening the overhang angle at the bottom of the hood cloth, so the length of the lower part of the window is set sufficiently long while ensuring the rear visibility when using the hood. By doing so, the appropriate storage state of the hood can be made compatible.
[0007]
According to the window structure of the first aspect, the appearance of the hood cloth and the upper part of the window plate when using the hood can be substantially flush with each other, so that the design is not impaired, and the rigidity is higher than that of the flat plate shape. Can be increased.
According to the window structure of claim 2 or 3, even if the window plate has a bulging shape, the hood can be neatly stretched without bumping.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Next, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 1 shows a window structure of an automobile hood (hereinafter simply referred to as “top”) 30 according to an embodiment of the present invention. The hood 30 includes a hood cloth 31 cut into a predetermined shape and a rear viewing window 20 provided on the rear surface portion of the hood cloth 31. The window structure of this example forms the main body of the window 20. It has a feature in the shape of the window plate 21.
[0009]
A front frame 32 for fixing the front end portion of the hood cloth 31 along the upper edge of the front window is fixed to the front end portion of the hood cloth 31. Further, the substantially central portion of the hood cloth 31 is held at a constant height by a center frame 33 (tilting frame). The center frame 33 has an inverted U-shape and is tiltable in the vehicle front-rear direction. When the hood is used, the center frame 33 is taken out in a substantially upright state, and when the hood is stored, it is tilted backward and stored in the hood storage chamber 3. .
Furthermore, the lower end portion of the hood cloth 31 is fixed along the front end edge of the trunk 2. A hood storage chamber 3 for storing the hood 30 in a substantially double-folded state is provided on the front side of the trunk 2 (rear part of the vehicle interior).
[0010]
The rear viewing window 20 provided on the rear surface portion of the hood cloth 31 has a structure in which a window plate 21 is joined to a window opening portion 31a formed in the center of the rear surface portion of the hood cloth 31.
FIG. 2 shows the window plate 21 alone. The window plate 21 has a substantially rectangular shape in plan view made of a transparent resin plate, and has a bowl shape that gently bulges outward in the thickness direction. The lower end edge and the left and right end edges of the window plate 21 are bent outward with a certain width. The lower end bent portion 21a on the lower end edge side and the left and right bent portions 21b and 21c on the left and right end edge sides are aligned with each other on a flat surface.
The lower end bent portion 21a of the window plate 21 thus formed is joined along the lower end edge of the window opening 31a of the hood cloth 31, and the left and right bent portions 21b and 21c are also the left and right side edges of the window opening 31a. Are joined together.
[0011]
When the front frame 32 is fixed to the front window side, the center frame 33 is fixed to the upright position and the hood cloth 31 is stretched in a predetermined state, the automobile hood 30 configured as described above has a rear surface portion. Is stretched between the center frame 33 and the front edge of the trunk 2 so that the window plate 21 is fixed in a state inclined at a certain angle. The passenger can visually recognize the rear through the window 20.
[0012]
According to the window structure of the present embodiment configured as described above, the window plate 21 has a bowl shape that bulges to the outdoor side, and the lower end portion of the window plate 21 is bent to the outdoor side (the upper side in the drawing). The lower end edge of the window opening 31a of the hood cloth 31 is joined to the lower end bent portion 21a. For this reason, as shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG. 1, the window plate 11 has a flat plate shape and the lower end thereof is not bent. The lower end portion is displaced downward on the passenger compartment side.
[0013]
Since the lower end portion of the window plate 21 is displaced further downward, the inclination of the lower window portion 31b below the window opening 31a of the hood cloth 31 is more gentle, thereby ensuring a sufficiently low rear lower view. However, the window lower portion 31b can be set longer. As described above, by setting the window lower portion 31a of the hood cloth 31 so long as it does not collide when stored, the hood 30 is stored in the hood storage chamber 3 in a folded state as shown by a two-dot chain line in FIG. In this case, the window plate 21 can be stored in an appropriate state without being lifted from the bottom 3 a of the hood storage chamber 3. The state in which the window plate 21 does not float from the bottom portion 3a refers to a state in which the peripheral edge of the window plate 21 mainly contacts the bottom portion 3a and no tensile force is applied to the window lower portion 31b of the hood cloth 31.
[0014]
As described above, by bending the lower end portion of the window plate 21 to the outdoor side, the inclination of the window lower portion 31b of the hood cloth 31 can be made gentle in the state of use of the hood 30, thereby allowing the hood to be used. In this case, the visibility of the rear lower side of the window 20 is maintained at a sufficiently low position, and the hood 30 is stored in an appropriate state (the window plate 21 is not lifted from the bottom plate 3a of the hood storage section 3) when the hood is stored. Therefore, it is possible to achieve both a sufficiently low view of the lower rear side of the window 20 and an appropriate storage state of the hood 30.
In addition, by making the window plate 21 into a curved shape, the upper portion of the window plate 21 gives a feeling of appearance with the hood cloth 31 while the hood is in use, while the lower portion of the window plate 21 is the lower end portion of the hood cloth 31. It is possible to make the inclination of the window lower part 31b gentler by arranging it on the vehicle compartment side than the straight line connecting the center frame 33 and the center frame 33.
[0015]
In this embodiment, the left and right side edges of the window plate 21 are also bent outward, and the left and right bent parts 21b and 21c are joined to the left and right edges of the window opening 31a of the hood cloth 31. The window plate 21 can receive a vertical (front-rear) tension in a state where the top cloth 31 is stretched by the left and right bent portions 21a and 21b. For this reason, even if the window lower part 31b of the hood cloth 31 is gently inclined with respect to the straight line connecting the lower end part of the hood cloth and the center frame 33, the hood cloth 31 can be stretched neatly without bumping. More specifically, in order for the window plate 21 to receive tension in the vertical (front-rear) direction in a state where the hood cloth 31 is stretched by the left and right bent portions 21a and 21b, a part of the left and right bent portions 21a and 21b is provided. It is desirable to arrange on the surface connecting the lower end of the hood cloth 31 and the center frame 33.
[0016]
Various modifications can be made to the embodiment described above. For example, the window plate 21 has a configuration having a bowl shape that bulges to the outside of the room, but a window plate 41 having a normal flat plate shape can also be used as shown in FIG. Also in this case, the lower end portion of the window plate 41 is bent to the outdoor side, and the lower end bent portion 41a is joined along the lower end edge of the window opening 31a of the hood cloth 31, so that the window plate 41 is used when the hood is used. As shown by the two-dot chain line in the figure, the lower end side of the hood can be displaced downward as compared with the conventional case. The window lower part 31b of the cloth 31 can be set appropriately long, and as a result, the hood 30 can be stored in an appropriate state.
[0017]
In the previous embodiment, the configuration in which the lower end portion 21a and the left and right side edges 21b and 21c of the window plate 21 are bent is illustrated. However, for example, as shown in FIG. The formed window plate 22 may be used. The bent upper end 21 a is formed to extend along a straight line L connecting the lower end of the hood cloth 31 and the center frame 33 with respect to the bowl shape of the window plate 22. Also in this case, the lower end portion 22b and the left and right side edges 22c and 22d of the window plate 22 are bent in the same manner as in the above embodiment.
By bending the upper end portion 22a of the window plate 21 in this way, the concave feeling with the hood cloth 31 at the upper end portion 22a of the window plate 22 can be alleviated and the design of the appearance can be further improved.
[0018]
Next, although the window board 21 (22, 41) illustrated the structure which used the synthetic resin transparent board | plate material as a raw material, the window board 21 can also be implemented as glass.
Further, bending of the left and right side edges of the window plate 21 (22, 41) is not essential. However, when a problem occurs due to the bump of the hood cloth 31, or because the tension of the hood cloth 31 is high, the inclination of the window lower portion 31b does not become gentle, and the window lower portion 31b connects the lower end portion of the hood cloth 31 and the center frame 33. If it becomes a straight line to be connected, bends are made on the left and right side edges of the window plate 21 (22, 41) so that tension can be applied to the left and right side edges regardless of the shape of the window plate center. The problem can be solved.
