本発明は、PLL(Phase Locked Loop)回路を含む半導体集積回路に関する。
【0002】

また、抵抗が、拡散抵抗、ポリ抵抗、又は、MOS(Metal Oxide Semiconductor)抵抗であることとしても良い。
【0013】
また、抵抗Rvとして、拡散抵抗、ポリ抵抗、又は、MOS(Metal Oxide Semiconductor)抵抗を用いることができる。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a semiconductor integrated circuit including a PLL (Phase Locked Loop) circuit.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, PLL circuits have been used. The PLL circuit is a circuit that generates an oscillation signal whose phase or frequency is synchronized with an input signal. In general, the PLL circuit includes a frequency dividing circuit, a phase detection circuit, a charge pump circuit, a loop filter circuit, and a voltage controlled oscillation circuit.
In the PLL circuit, when the frequency of the input signal changes, the user adjusts the characteristics of the frequency divider, phase detector, charge pump circuit, loop filter circuit, or voltage controlled oscillator circuit in order to reduce jitter. There is a need to. The characteristics of these circuits are adjusted by operating analog adjustment pins included in each circuit.
[0003]
However, in the conventional PLL circuit, every time the frequency of the input signal changes, the user must adjust the characteristics of the frequency divider circuit, phase detection circuit, charge pump circuit, loop filter circuit, or voltage controlled oscillation circuit. The operation was complicated. Further, the conventional PLL circuit cannot cope with the case where the frequency of the input signal changes dynamically.
[0004]
By the way, a clock generation circuit that can automatically keep the internal clock frequency constant for a plurality of input clock frequencies is known (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
[0005]
Patent Document 1 discloses a frequency determination device that determines a clock frequency, a phase comparator that compares the phases of an input clock and a reference clock, and a high-frequency component that is removed from a phase difference voltage output from the phase comparator. A loop filter, a voltage-controlled oscillator that receives the output voltage of the loop filter and outputs an internal clock having a frequency that is at least twice the input clock, and divides the output of the voltage-controlled oscillator into a constant frequency according to the result determined by the frequency determination device. A first frequency dividing device that circulates; and a second frequency dividing device that divides the output of the first frequency dividing device to the same frequency as the input clock frequency according to the result determined by the frequency determining device, A clock generator characterized by making the internal clock frequency constant with respect to the input clock frequency is also disclosed.
[0006]
However, in the clock generator disclosed in Patent Document 1, the first frequency divider divides the output of the voltage controlled oscillator to a constant frequency according to the result determined by the frequency determination device, and the second frequency divider. The device divides the output of the first frequency divider to the same frequency as the input clock frequency according to the result determined by the frequency determination device, thereby making the internal clock frequency constant for a plurality of input clock frequencies. Although it is a charge pump circuit that generates and outputs a potential based on the output signal of the phase detection circuit with characteristics according to the input frequency, the output potential of the charge pump circuit is filtered and output with characteristics according to the input frequency. A loop filter circuit and a voltage controlled oscillation circuit that generates and outputs a signal of a frequency based on the output potential of the loop filter circuit with characteristics according to the input frequency. Not to Bei, nor to reduce the jitter, etc. to optimize the characteristics of the circuit in response to the input clock frequency.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In view of the above, an object of the present invention is to provide a semiconductor integrated circuit including a PLL circuit, which can reduce jitter and the like according to the frequency of an input signal.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a semiconductor integrated circuit according to the present invention receives an input signal, and the frequency of the input signal is any of two bands obtained by dividing the frequency band that can be taken by the frequency of the input signal. FIG. 3 is a diagram showing an internal configuration of the constant
The sources of the transistors QP1 and QP2 are connected to a high-potential power supply potential (here, V DD ), and a predetermined bias potential VPB is supplied to the gate. The drain of the transistor QP1 is connected to the
Since the electric characteristics of the channel transistors QP1 and QP2 are proportional, the constant currents R1 and R2 are proportional.

The source of the transistor QN1 is connected to the power supply potential V SS on the low potential side, and the second timing signal DISC is input to the gate. The drain of the transistor QN1 is connected to one end of the capacitor C1, and the other end of the capacitor C1 is connected to the power supply potential V SS on the low potential side.
[0020]
As a result of such a configuration, the potential of the drain of the transistor QN1 and one end of the capacitor C1 (hereinafter also referred to as “potential V1”) causes the capacitor C1 to be driven by the constant current R1 when the first timing signal CC becomes high level. Since it is charged, it rises like a ramp. In addition, when the second timing signal DISC becomes high level, the potential V1 becomes low level because the charge charged in the capacitor C1 is discharged through the transistor QN1.

[0032]
As described above, according to the semiconductor integrated circuit 1, the charge pump circuit 4 is connected to the phase detection circuit 3 according to whether the frequency of the input signal REFCK belongs to a band lower than 20 MHz or a band higher than 20 MHz. A potential based on the output signal is generated with characteristics according to the control signal HS, and the loop filter circuit 5 filters and outputs the output potential of the charge pump circuit 4 with characteristics according to the control signal HS. However, a signal having a frequency based on the output potential of the loop filter circuit 5 is generated with characteristics corresponding to the control signal HS.
