Claims (14)
- 基地局と加入者端末を含む無線接続通信システムにおける基地局のスリープモード制御方法であって、
a)加入者端末の固有の識別子を通じてグループ識別子を生成するステップと、
b)加入者端末からインデックス値を含むスリープ要請メッセージを受信するステップと、
c)スリープモードへの状態遷移を要請した加入者端末と基地局とのネゴを通じて、スリープ周期制御のために予め決定された複数個のインデックス値の中で一つのインデックス値を決定し、前記決定されたインデックス値を含んで前記加入者端末にスリープ応答メッセージを送信するステップと、
d)前記スリープ要請メッセージを送信した加入者端末のグループ識別子と前記決定されたインデックス値を用いてページング位置を決定するステップと、
からなることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記グループ識別子は、前記加入者端末のグルーピングのためにスリープモードの開始時点を決定するものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記インデックス値は、予め決定された複数のインデックス値の中で任意の1つを加入者端末が選択し要求するときに、基地局の応答により決定されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記インデックス値は、予め設定されたスリープ単位時間に掛ける倍数として用いられてスリープ周期を決定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップd)は、前記加入者端末と基地局により同時に独立して遂行されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- ステップd)は、下記の式を使用することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の方法。
Sb*(SI+1)=FN mod(F*(SI+1))
ただし、式中、Sbは連結識別子、SIはインデックス値、Fは予め設定されたスリープ単位時間、FNはリスニングポジションに対応するフレーム番号をそれぞれ表す。 - 前記ページングポジションに対応する時間に、該当加入者端末の連結識別子を含むトラヒック指示メッセージを生成して伝送するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 基地局と加入者端末を含む無線接続通信システムにおける加入者端末のスリープモード制御方法であって、
a)基地局からグループ識別子を認知することができる連結識別子を割り当てされるステップと、
b)スリープ周期設定情報であるインデックス値を含むスリープ要請メッセージを基地局に送信するステップと、
c)前記基地局から複数個のインデックス値の中でいずれか一つのインデックス値が含まれたスリープ応答メッセージを受信するステップと、
d)前記スリープ応答メッセージに含まれたインデックス値と前記連結識別子を用いてアウェイクフレームを決定するステップと、からなることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記グループ識別子は、前記加入者端末のグルーピングのためにスリープモードの開始時点を決定するものであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記スリープ要請メッセージに含まれたインデックス値は、複数個のインデックス値の中で任意の1つを前記加入者端末が選択したものであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記インデックス値は、予め設定されたスリープ単位時間に掛ける倍数として用いられてスリープ周期を決定することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- ステップd)は、前記加入者端末と基地局により同時に独立して遂行されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
- ステップd)は、下記の式を使用することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。

ただし、式中、Sbは連結識別子、SIはインデックス値、Fは予め設定されたスリープ単位時間、FNはリスニングポジションに対応するフレーム番号をそれぞれ表す。 - 前記アウェイクフレームに対応する時間に、トラヒック指示メッセージを受信するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載の方法。
