Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a gaming machine, and more particularly to a gaming machine having a plurality of reach modes and performing various reach effects according to predetermined conditions.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a lottery process is performed in response to a game ball entering the start opening, and if the result of the lottery process is a winning (bonus), a gaming machine that executes a special game mode advantageous to the player is known. It has been. This type of gaming machine is provided with a symbol display unit for displaying the result of the lottery process, and a plurality of symbol display positions capable of displaying a plurality of types of symbols are set in the symbol display unit. ing. And this game machine is comprised so that the result of a lottery process may be represented by the combination of the symbol displayed on each symbol display position.
[0003]
For example, if the result of the lottery process is a prize, the same symbol is displayed at a predetermined symbol display position. If the result of the lottery process is not a prize, a different symbol is displayed at at least one of the predetermined symbol display positions. Thus, the result of the lottery process can be represented by a combination of symbols.
[0004]
The combination of symbols representing the result of the lottery process as described above is generally the symbol display after the game ball enters the starting port and the display state of each symbol on the symbol display section changes. Displayed by sequentially stopping the display of positions. In this type of gaming machine, a combination of symbols representing winning is displayed after a so-called “reach” state in which winning or non-winning is determined by the remaining one symbol. Therefore, when the symbol display on the symbol display unit is in the reach state, the player's sense of expectation for winning is rapidly increased.
[0005]
Further, in recent gaming machines, in order to improve the fun of the game, there is known one provided with a plurality of the above “reach” modes (types and development stages).
For example, there are known gaming machines having “normal reach” indicating a normal reach state and “super reach” indicating a reach state developed to a state with a higher expectation of jackpot than this normal reach. Controls the display state of the plurality of reach modes according to the result of the lottery process. Thus, if it is a gaming machine having a plurality of “reach”, the interest of the game can be further improved.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the above prior art, when the reach state is displayed, the reach from “normal reach” (reach state with relatively low reliability that is a big hit) to “super reach” (reliability that makes big hits is higher than normal reach). It is the mainstream to perform reach production that develops in stages. In other words, when a reach occurs, a reach effect is performed in which the reach state is developed and displayed in order from the lowest-reliability reach state every time, regardless of the reach mode (from the first mode each time). Reach production).
[0007]
Therefore, since the player must always see the reach production from the reach mode with the lowest reliability at the time of the reach occurrence, even if it was a win with a higher expectation as a result of the lottery process, There is a problem that it takes time to see an extra reach production (production for developing the reach mode). That is, the player needs to see the same reach effect (reach mode with low reliability), and thus has the problem that the game has an extended impression.
Further, when the reach is continuously generated, the same reach effect is continuously made, so that there is a problem that the game is particularly delayed.
[0008]
Accordingly, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems of the prior art, and in a gaming machine having a plurality of reach modes, the time for reach development is shortened and the interest of the game is further improved. It is an object to provide a gaming machine that can be used. In particular, it is an object of the present invention to provide a gaming machine that can reduce the time related to reach development and improve the fun of the game when reach continuously occurs.
[0009]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art,A gaming machine including a symbol display unit that executes a plurality of reach effects according to a symbol display state, and a reach type indicating a reach effect expression state as reach information when performing the reach effect in the symbol display unit; When the reach production is executed under a predetermined condition in which the reach development stage indicating the development state of the reach production is provided, and the reach production is continuously performed, the previous reach production is performed. Sometimes the reach type and reach development stage stored in the storage unit are acquired, and using the same reach type as the acquired reach type, reach production is started from the end state of the acquired reach development stage, The symbol display unit is controlled.
[0010]
Here, “reach production” means performing various expressions to notify the player that the player is a reach, and the expression method may be any of the player's visual, auditory, or tactile senses (or May appeal to multiple).
Further, “reach information” refers to various information related to reach production, such as reach type, reach development stage, or the number of continuous reach times, variation design and stop design related to reach production, which will be described later..
Furthermore, “a plurality of reach effects” is a concept that includes not only a case where there are a plurality of reach types and reach development stages, but also a case where there is a single reach type and a plurality of development stages.
[0011]
In addition, “reach production is performed continuously” means that a process (so-called “reach production”), which is performed based on a single lottery process, goes from a design change to a design stop through a reach mode (so-called “reach production”). Means the case.
[0012]
According to such a configuration, the same reach type as that of the previously performed reach effect is used under a predetermined condition where the reach effect is continuously performed, and the development stage at the time of the previous reach effect is ended. Since the time is the start state of reach production, the reach production is performed using the symbol display unit, so the time required for each symbol on the symbol display unit to change and the reach is established, and the display state of this symbol display unit varies. Thus, the time required for reach development can be omitted, and the time required for reach production can be shortened. In other words, since the change of the symbol display unit is started from the symbol at the end of the previous reach production and the reach production is performed, the player's expectation is continued, and the extended feeling as before can be wiped off. .
[0013]
Furthermore, in the present invention, it is preferable that the reach development stage is developed higher by a predetermined stage from the end state of the acquired reach development stage after the start of reach production.
[0014]
In the present invention, when the reach effect is executed under the predetermined condition, information on the stop symbol at the time of the previous reach effect is acquired, and the reach effect is started from the state of the acquired stop symbol. The configuration is preferable.
Furthermore, in the present invention, the symbol display unit is configured to display a plurality of symbols in an array, and the reach effect is performed in a state where all but one of the symbols are stopped at the same symbol. In the case where the reach effect is executed under the predetermined condition, information on the stop symbol at the time of the previous reach effect is acquired, and only the symbols that have been stopped at a different symbol at the time of the previous reach effect are obtained. A configuration in which variation display is performed is preferable.

Each random number generator counts up one by one in a predetermined cycle (for example, 1 msec) until “predetermined upper limit value” starts from “0”, and this count value reaches “predetermined upper limit value”. In this case, the count operation is configured to be repeated again from the initial value “0” (a so-called infinite loop counter is configured), and various random number generators are operated by the

After the reach production lottery process (S503) is performed, as a result of the lottery process, it is determined whether or not the lottery regarding the reach production has been won (step S504), and if the lottery is not won (No in S504). The lottery process of the stop symbol displayed on the
In this stop symbol lottery process (S505), in principle, a symbol is randomly selected using a random number generator. However, if a symbol that becomes a reach symbol is selected as a result of the lottery process, By reselecting this symbol, a symbol that does not reach reach as a result is selected. The stop symbols determined by lottery are stored in the stop symbol

[0056]
When the reach lottery is won (Yes in S504), a reach type determination process (step S507) and a stop symbol lottery process (step S508) are performed. Here, the reach type and the stop symbol are each selected by lottery using, for example, a random number generator.
Here, the “reach type” is one of various display modes when performing the reach effect, and includes, for example, a change in the design (e.g., enlargement of the design), a change in the background display, or a change in the direction of travel of the design, In the reach type determination process (step S507), one reach type is determined from among these various types by a lottery process or the like. In addition, since the stop symbol lottery here is premised on reaching, if at least two symbols are selected to be the same symbol and if the big hit lottery (S501) is won, The symbols that match the symbols are selected. The reach type determined by lottery is stored in the reach

[0059]
In step S516, a reach type redetermination process is performed based on the fact that the reach is being continued (Yes in S510) (S516). Specifically, the reach type used for the previous reach production is stored again in the reach
Specifically, for example, when “design expansion” is selected as the previous reach type and the previous development stage is Super Reach 1 (for example, one stage expansion), the “continuous reach” determined this time Is selected again as the reach type, and the development stage starts from the previous super reach 1 (the effect on normal reach is omitted), and the development stage is always one stage up super reach 2 (for example, It will be developed in two stages.
In other words, “continuous reach production” means that the same reach type as the previous one is used, the reach production is started from the last developed reach form (the production of the previous reach form is omitted), and the development stage is always Reach production that goes up one step.
[0060]
If the reach is not continuously performed (No in S510), the reach development stage is determined based on, for example, a random number (step S511), and the reach development counter is determined according to the development stage. The value H of 1333d is counted up (step S512). In step S513, the reach effect is determined according to the reach information (such as information on the reach type and reach development stage), and then the process proceeds to step S518.
Specifically, for example, when “symbol expansion” is selected as the reach type in the process of S507 and the value H of the

In the present embodiment, as described above, the stop symbol lottery process (S505) is performed when the reach is not reached, and in the case of normal reach (reach that is not continued), the reach information is determined. After reaching reach determination (S513), when reach is performed continuously, through reach reach determination (S517) according to the reach information, the

At the time of this continuous reach, regardless of the contents of the reach type determination process (S507), the reach type is re-determined to be the same as the previous reach ("design change") (S517).

Next, another execution example will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 7 differs from FIG. 6 described above in that the “background change” is selected in the reach type lottery (S507 in FIG. 5) at the time of the previous reach when continuous reach occurs. In the development stage determination process (S511), the "1" stage development is selected as in the case of FIG. This will be specifically described below.

FIG. 8 is similar to FIG. 6 described previously in that “change in symbol progression method” was selected in the reach type lottery (S507 in FIG. 5) at the time of the previous reach when continuous reach occurred. In contrast, in the reach stage determination process (S511), the development of the "1" stage is selected as in the case of FIG. This will be specifically described below.

In other words, according to the present embodiment, when continuous reach (continuous reach) occurs, the development stage at the time of the previous reach (the end state of the previous reach effect) is always the start state of the reach effect, so the reach is established. Time to reach (e.g., time until all symbols change and reach reach) and time to reach development (e.g., time to develop from normal reach to super reach 1) It is possible to shorten the time required. That is, with such a configuration, when the reach is continued, the overlap effect is omitted and the reach effect is performed, so that it is possible to wipe off the conventional extended feeling.
[0079]
In addition, according to the present embodiment, when a continuous reach occurs, a reach effect is always performed to develop a reach mode that is one step higher than the previous reach, so even if the reach is lost, the player's Expectation can be continued to the next fluctuation. In other words, even if the reach is missed, if the reach occurs continuously, it will be developed to a higher reach, so the player's expectation will increase at the next fluctuation after the reach is missed , It can be a more interesting gaming machine.
[0080]
In the present embodiment, the case where the previous loss state is “7, 9, 7” and the reach of “7” is aligned even at the next fluctuation (during continuous reach) has been described. The invention is not limited to this configuration. Therefore, for example, when the reach of “3” is selected in the reach stop lottery process (S508) during continuous reach, the display state of “7, 9, 7” is immediately changed to the reach of “3”. Even if a reach effect is started from Super Reach 1 (a state in which “?” Is expanded by one step) based on the stored reach information, the state is changed to a state (for example, “3... 3”). Good.
[0081]
Next, a gaming machine according to another embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. FIG. 9 shows a flowchart of the control operation related to the reach effect in the main control unit of the gaming machine according to another embodiment of the present invention. Since the present embodiment basically has the same configuration as that of the above-described embodiment described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 8, refer to the above-described drawings for schematic diagrams and the like and refer to the same components. Will be described using the same reference numerals. In addition, since the control flow etc. at the time of implementing "continuous reach" are slightly different between the other embodiments and the above-described embodiment, mainly the different portions will be described below with reference to FIG.

In this stop symbol lottery process (S906), as a rule, a symbol is randomly selected using a random number generator. However, if a symbol that becomes a reach symbol is selected as a result of the lottery process, By reselecting this symbol, a symbol that does not reach reach as a result is selected. The stop symbols determined by lottery are stored in the stop symbol
[0084]
When the reach lottery is won (Yes in S905), a stop symbol lottery process for reach (step S907) is performed. Here, the stop symbol for reach is selected by lottery using, for example, a random number generator. In addition, since the lottery of the stop symbol here is based on the premise that it will be reach, if at least two symbols are selected to be the same symbol and if the big hit lottery (S902) is won, The symbols that match the symbols are selected. The stop symbols for reach determined by lottery are stored in the stop symbol
[0085]
Next, it is determined whether or not a lottery (S904) related to continuous reach production has been won (step S908). If it has not been won (No in S908), for example, the type of reach and the development stage based on random numbers or the like. Is determined (step S909), and the value H of the
[0086]
If the lottery regarding the continuous reach effect (S904) is won (Yes in S908), a “message” indicating that the continuous reach is performed is displayed (step S912). For example, a message such as “continue reach start !!” or a “character” indicating the start of the reach is displayed at a predetermined location on the

In step S914, it is determined whether or not the value H of the
[0089]
Then, in step S916, after the continuous reach effect is determined according to the reach information (information on reach type and reach development stage, etc.) and the “message” for performing the continuous reach is deleted (step S917). Then, the process of step S918 is performed.
[0090]
In the present embodiment, as described above, when the reach lottery is lost, the stop symbol lottery process (S906) is performed, and when the reach reach lottery is lost, the lottery or the like is performed when the reach is performed. If the reach reach determination according to the determined reach information (S911) and the continuous reach lottery is won, the symbol display is performed after the continuous reach effect determination (S917) after obtaining the previous reach information etc. In

Next, in step S920, it is determined whether or not the stopped symbol on the
[0093]
As described above, in the gaming machine according to the other embodiment, the continuous reach effect is performed on the condition that the lottery process (S904) regarding the continuous reach effect is won when the reach occurs. That is, in the embodiment described with reference to FIG. 5, the “continuous reach” effect is performed for the first time when the winning effect lottery process (S503) is continuously performed. In the embodiment described with reference to FIG. Even if you win the reach production lottery process (S903) discontinuously, when you win the reach production lottery process (S903), if you are also won the continuous reach production lottery process (S904), you will always reach the previous reach Based on the reach information at the time of production, the “continuous reach” production will be performed.
[0094]
Therefore, according to the present embodiment, even if the reach does not occur substantially continuously, there is a possibility that a continuous reach effect is performed, so that the player's expectation can be enhanced.
At the time of this continuous reach production, as in the embodiment described above, the continuous reach is established because the development stage at the time of the previous reach (the end state of the previous reach production) is the start state of the continuous reach production. And the time to reach development can be shortened.
Furthermore, even during this continuous reach production, the player always develops a higher reach, so even if the reach is missed, the player's expectation for subsequent changes will increase, making it more interesting It can be a gaming machine.
[0095]
Further, according to the embodiment described in FIG. 9, since it is determined whether or not to continue continuation in the lottery process, if the previous information has been stored, using the result of the jackpot random number, Expectation level adjustment (reliability adjustment) can be performed according to the stage of reach development during continuous reach execution.
[0096]
Also, in this embodiment for determining whether or not to continue continuation in the lottery process, there is a possibility of “continuous reach” at the time of the second or subsequent reach occurrence, so the player can The game will be played with a sense of expectation.
[0097]
Further, in each of the above embodiments, as the reach continues, the reach development stage improves, so that it is possible to further increase the player's expectation and to obtain an amusing gaming machine. Can do.
In addition, even if it is not a big hit after reach (if it is a loss), it is configured to improve the reach development stage as described above by continuous reach, so after being out of reach Even so, the player's concentration is not interrupted, and the expectation of the game after the reach performance can be continued while maintaining high concentration.
[0098]
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications other than those described above can be made without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
[0099]
For example, in each of the above-described embodiments, the case where the reach is configured to develop in two stages (from normal reach to super reach 1 and super reach 2) has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. Even if it develops beyond the stage, it is applicable. In other words, for example, when the reach is configured to develop up to four stages, the reach develops to three stages and becomes a lost state. It may be configured to start production and constantly develop in four stages. With such a configuration, various effects such as enhancing the player's expectation can be obtained, as in the above-described embodiments.
[0100]
Further, in each of the above embodiments, the case where the gaming machine has three reach types (“change in design”, “change in background display”, “change in direction of travel of design”) has been described. However, the present invention may be configured to have other reach types. Furthermore, the above three reach types may be displayed in a composite manner, and other reach types may be used.
[0101]
Further, in each of the above embodiments, the case where the reach is always developed only by one stage at the time of executing the “continuous reach” effect has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. Therefore, for example, if necessary, it may be configured to develop two or more stages. In addition, when a “continuous reach” effect is performed by substantially continuous reach, a two-stage development is performed and a lottery process is performed. If the “continuous reach” effect is performed based on the result of the above, the development stage may be adjusted as appropriate so that the stage is developed one stage. Further, for example, when the “continuous reach” effect is executed, it may be possible to start only from the same stage as the previous reach development stage without necessarily developing to a higher reach.
[0102]
Further, in each of the above embodiments, the case has been described where continuous reach is executed using both of the “reach type” and “reach development stage” information, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration. The continuous reach may be performed using any one piece of information. Specifically, the “reach type” is not used at the time of the previous reach production, but is selected at the lottery process, etc., and is used at the previous reach production only at the reach development stage. May be used.
[0103]
Further, in each of the above embodiments, the case where the “reach type” and the “reach development stage” are drawn and stored separately and used for the reach production has been described, but the present invention is limited to this configuration. In this configuration, only the “reach type” is selected by a lottery process or the like, and the “reach type” selected at this time may have a character including the development stage. .
[0104]
Further, in each of the above embodiments, a case has been described in which the player is informed that “reach” or “continue reach” has been won by the symbol display state in the symbol display unit. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and it may be configured to notify the player of “reach” or the like using other means if necessary. Therefore, for example, the reach type and reach development stage may be notified by controlling lighting or blinking states of various lamps provided in the gaming machine. Or you may control the audio | voice emitted from a speaker and alert | report a reach classification, reach development stage, etc. Alternatively, the reach or the like may be notified to the player by vibrating the gaming machine or a specific portion of the gaming machine.
Furthermore, in each of the above embodiments, the case where the display state and display method of the symbol display unit is stored as the reach type and used in the “continuous reach” effect has been described, but the present invention is limited to this configuration. However, as described above, in the case where an effect such as “reach” is performed using information such as light or sound emitted from a lamp or a speaker, information on blinking of light, scale, volume, Or the information regarding a frequency etc. may be memorize | stored and a "continuous reach" production may be performed using this.
[0105]
Further, in each of the above embodiments, the case where the gaming machine and the ball lending machine are configured to be communicable has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this configuration and can communicate with the ball lending machine or other devices. It is not limited to gaming machines connected to.
[0106]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the gaming machine according to the present invention is configured to execute the “continuous reach” effect based on the stored reach information under a predetermined condition. Therefore, according to the present invention, in a gaming machine having a plurality of reach modes, it is possible to obtain a gaming machine capable of reducing the time related to reach development and further improving the interest of the game.
