【0001】
空隙率=(A−A1)×(B−B1)/(A×B)×100(%)
【0045】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a glass cloth opening device for opening a glass cloth and a glass cloth opening method for opening a glass cloth.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a method of opening a glass cloth, methods described in JP-A-62-257461 and JP-A-3-124666 are known. The former publication discloses a method of opening a glass cloth by bringing a vibrator that vibrates at a frequency of 10 to 70 kHz into contact with the glass cloth. The latter publication discloses a method of opening a fiber bundle by bringing the fiber bundle into contact with an opening roller that rotates in a solution.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the method described in JP-A-62-257461, the glass fibers are bent, resulting in a loss of the balance of opening in the respective directions of the warp and weft of the glass cloth. And the loss of the balance of the opening has been a cause of impairing the drilling workability and dimensional stability of the laminate using the glass cloth as a base material. In addition, "bending" means that the fibers (warp yarn, weft yarn) constituting the glass cloth meander by contact with the conveying equipment or the like.
[0004]
Further, when the fiber bundle opening method described in JP-A-4-124666 is applied to the glass cloth opening method, the glass cloth woven with warp and weft yarns has a wave generated by the rotation of the opening roller. There was a problem that the curling was caused.
[0005]
Then, this invention solves the said subject, and it aims at providing the glass cloth opening apparatus and glass cloth opening method which open a glass cloth on the whole with sufficient balance in each direction of a warp and a weft. .
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The glass cloth opening device according to the present invention has a plurality of pressing portions that press the glass cloth on a virtual circumference, a roller that rotates about the center of the virtual circumference as a rotation axis, and at least one pressing portion. And a glass cloth conveying section that conveys the glass cloth in a direction orthogonal to the rotation axis while contacting the glass cloth in the air.
[0007]
In this way, by conveying the glass cloth while contacting at least one pressing part, after one pressing part is pressed against the glass cloth and rubbed, before the pressing part leaves the glass cloth or at the same time, Since the pressing portion contacts the glass cloth, it is possible to prevent occurrence of bending. A roller having a pressing portion comes into contact with the glass cloth, and the fiber is opened by the vibration generated thereby and the pressure and friction generated during conveyance. That is, the warp yarn is opened by an impact force generated when the pressing portion strikes the glass when the roller comes into contact with the glass cloth, and vibration generated by intermittently applying the force. In addition, the weft yarn is opened by friction generated by the contact between the pressing portion and the glass cloth. Thereby, the glass cloth can be opened in a well-balanced manner in the respective directions of the warp and the weft. In addition, when conveying a glass cloth, the one where the force pulling a glass cloth is weak is preferable. This is because when the force for pulling the glass cloth is increased, the tension generated in the warp direction of the glass cloth is increased and the warp yarn is restrained and is difficult to open. Further, in the present invention, since the glass fiber and the roller are brought into contact with each other in the air, the air has a small resistance, so that the glass cloth is not bent due to the shaking of the medium (air) caused by the rotation of the roller. .
[0008]
In the glass cloth opening device, the rotation direction of the roller may be opposite to the glass cloth conveyance direction by the glass cloth conveyance unit.
[0009]
Thus, the glass cloth can be efficiently opened by making the rotation direction of the roller opposite to the conveying direction of the glass cloth. In addition, that the rotation direction of the roller is opposite to the conveyance direction of the glass cloth means that the movement direction of the roller in the vicinity where the roller and the glass cloth are in contact with the movement direction of the glass cloth is opposite.
[0010]
In the glass cloth opening device, the pressing portion may be formed on the virtual circumference and extend along the rotation axis.
[0011]
As described above, the glass cloth can be efficiently opened by the pressing portion extending along the rotation axis.
[0012]
In the glass cloth opening method according to the present invention, a roller having a plurality of pressing portions on a virtual circumference is rotated with the center of the virtual circumference as a rotation axis, and the glass cloth is moved in the air against at least one pressing portion. The glass cloth is conveyed in a direction perpendicular to the rotation axis while being brought into contact with each other.
[0013]
Further, in the present invention, since the glass fiber and the roller are brought into contact with each other in the air, the air has a small resistance, so that the glass cloth is not bent due to the shaking of the medium (air) caused by the rotation of the roller. .
[0014]
The glass cloth opening method may be characterized in that the glass cloth is impregnated with water before the pressing portion is brought into contact with the glass cloth.
[0015]
By impregnating the glass cloth with water in this way, the glass single fibers can be easily displaced, and the glass cloth can be effectively opened. Here, the water is preferably 60 ° C. or higher. Moreover, by lubricating with water, the damage to the glass fiber due to the friction of the pressing portion is reduced, and the generation of fluff caused by cutting the glass single fiber can be suppressed. Furthermore, it is preferable to include a surfactant in the water, since the water easily enters the glass fiber, which makes it easier to open the fiber.
[0016]

Next, the result of opening the glass cloth using the glass cloth opening device according to the first to fourth embodiments is shown in comparison with the glass cloth before opening.
[0042]
The glass cloth to be opened is an original fabric (WEA1078 manufactured by Nitto Boseki Co., Ltd.) of IPC specification 1078. The apparatus conditions of the glass cloth opening device are as follows: the contact angle of the glass cloth with the rod roller is 60 °, the conveyance speed of the glass cloth conveyance section is 3 m / min, the tension acting on the glass cloth is 8 kG / m, and the rotation of the

[Table 1]
[0044]
The “warp yarn occupancy rate”, “weft yarn occupancy rate”, and “void ratio” are calculated as follows based on numerical values relating to glass fibers constituting the glass cloth. FIG. 6 is an enlarged view of the glass cloth. In FIG. 6, A is the warp yarn interval, A1 is the warp yarn width, B is the weft yarn interval, and B1 is the weft yarn width.
Warp occupancy rate = A1 / A x 100 (%)
Weft occupancy = B1 / B x 100 (%)
Porosity = (A−A1) × (B−B1) / (A × B) × 100 (%)
[0045]
As seen in Table 1, when compared with untreated glass cloth, the glass cloth opened by the glass cloth opening device according to the first embodiment to the fourth embodiment has an overall occupancy ratio of warp yarn and weft yarn. Increased as. Also, the porosity was very small. In addition, although the table | surface has also described the result at the time of experimenting with the flow volume of spray 3L / min using the glass cloth opening apparatus which concerns on 1st Embodiment, the favorable result was obtained also about this I understand that.
[0046]
As mentioned above, although embodiment of this invention has been described, this invention is not limited to the said embodiment.
[0047]
In the above embodiment, the case where one

In the above-described embodiment, the protruding pressing portion is formed on the circumference of the
[0050]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, after the glass cloth is conveyed while being brought into contact with at least one pressing portion, the one pressing portion is pressed against the glass cloth and rubbed, and then the pressing portion is separated from the glass cloth or simultaneously. Since the other pressing portions are in contact with the glass cloth, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of bending.
[0051]
Moreover, according to this invention, the roller which has a press part contacts with a glass cloth, and fiber opening is carried out by the vibration which generate | occur | produces by this, and the press and friction which arise at the time of conveyance.
