BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vibration damping device, and more particularly to a vibration damping device that suppresses vibration generated in an automatic transmission or the like mounted on an automobile, and belongs to the technical field of vibration control.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In general, in an automatic transmission mounted on an automobile, noise may be generated when a clutch is engaged. This is because, as shown in FIG. 11, in the clutch drum side clutch plate and the clutch hub side clutch plate constituting the clutch, the friction coefficient μ usually decreases as the relative speed V between them decreases. However, as shown in FIG. 12, when the clutch deteriorates or the ATF (automatic transmission fluid) deteriorates, the friction coefficient μ tends to increase as the relative speed V decreases. This is because a stick-slip phenomenon or the like occurs and a torsional vibration is generated in the members constituting the clutch mechanism.
[0003]
Accordingly, in order to suppress the occurrence of the abnormal noise, a vibration damping device may be provided on the clutch drum or the clutch hub where the vibration is generated.
[0004]
As an example of such a vibration control device, as disclosed in JP-A-3-288042, a metal fixing ring and an annular rubber fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the fixing ring are used. There is an elastic body and an annular metal mass body fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the elastic body and fixed to the outer periphery of the clutch drum of the automatic transmission.
[0005]
According to this vibration damping device, for example, when rotation accompanied by vibration is transmitted to the clutch drum, the elastic body is moved between the outer peripheral wall of the drum and the mass body by the inertial force of the mass body. Torsional deformation is performed in the direction opposite to the rotational fluctuation direction, and the vibration of the clutch drum is suppressed by the viscous resistance of the elastic body at that time.
[0006]
As described above, it is generally known that the vibration damping device normally acts as a dynamic damper that suppresses the vibration of the clutch drum that is the vibration damping object by vibrating in the opposite phase.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, in the vibration damping device that functions as a dynamic damper as described above, the vibration direction of the vibration damping device needs to be switched at the timing when the vibration direction of the vibration damping target is switched. In the case where they are not switched at the same timing, the vibration of the vibration control target could not be effectively suppressed, so that the vibration could be attenuated only in a narrow frequency band.
[0008]
Further, when trying to obtain a large damping effect by this type of damping device, a large inertial force applied to the mass body of the damping device is required, so that the mass body becomes large. Because the vibration is in the opposite phase to the vibration to be controlled, the load applied to the elastic body becomes excessive, and the elastic body also becomes large to obtain the necessary viscous resistance when the vibration to be suppressed is large. Will become larger. For this reason, layout problems such as difficulty in disposing the automatic transmission in the case arise.
[0009]
Then, this invention makes it a subject to provide the damping device which can acquire a big damping effect, without enlarging.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, each invention of the present application is configured as follows.
[0011]
First, an invention according to
[0014]
The invention according to claim 2 (hereinafter referred to as the second invention ) is characterized in that, in the vibration damping device of the first invention , the friction portion is pressed against the vibration damping object by the elasticity of the elastic body. And
[0015]
According to a third aspect of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as the third aspect ), in the vibration damping device of the first aspect or the second aspect , the elastic body, the mass body, and the friction portion are integrally formed of a plate material. The elastic body is coupled to the end surface of the vibration suppression object on one surface of the plate material, and the friction material having a predetermined thickness attached to the friction portion on the same surface of the plate material. It is characterized by being pressed against the end face of the object to be shaken.
[0016]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as a fourth aspect ), in the vibration damping device of the third aspect , a mass body is formed in an annular shape, and a plurality of elastic bodies are formed radially from the annular mass body. The frictional portion extends in the radial direction from the intermediate portion of the adjacent elastic body in the annular mass body and is pressed against the vibration suppression object.
[0017]
Further, the invention according to claim 5 (hereinafter referred to as fifth invention) is the clutch mechanism in which the object to be controlled is provided in the automatic transmission in any one of the first to fourth inventions. It is a clutch hub or clutch drum which comprises.
[0018]
By configuring as described above, the following operations can be obtained according to the inventions of the present application.
[0019]
First, the first invention will be described. The object to be controlled vibrates due to the vibration from the vibration source, and this vibration is transmitted to the mass body through the elastic body of the vibration damping device, and the mass body vibrates. . The mass body is vibrated by the vibration damping target vibration in phase, the masses, because it is coupled to a damped via the elastic body, between the said mass body and damped Relative displacement occurs, and friction is generated between the friction portion provided in the vibration control device and the vibration control target, and the vibration energy of the vibration control target is absorbed by this friction. As a result, it is possible to suppress abnormal noise caused by this vibration .
[0020]
In this case, since the mass body of the vibration damping device vibrates in the same phase as the vibration damping object, the vibration of the vibration damping object can be attenuated in a wider frequency band than in the case of the dynamic damper, and the vibration is caused by the friction. Since it absorbs, a mass body can be made small. Thereby, the load concerning an elastic body is suppressed and an elastic body can also be made small. Therefore, it becomes possible to make the whole damping device small.
[0021]
According to the first aspect of the invention , since the friction portion is provided with the friction material that is in sliding contact with the vibration suppression target, a larger friction is generated between the friction portion and the vibration suppression target, and the vibration suppression target. Thus, the vibration energy is surely absorbed. Therefore, stable vibration suppression can be obtained more effectively.
[0022]
Furthermore, since the friction material is formed of an insulator, no current flows through the friction part when the elastic body of the vibration control device is projection welded to the vibration suppression object, and the friction part is welded to the vibration suppression object. The elastic body can be surely welded without being damaged.
[0023]
According to the second aspect of the invention , since the friction part is pressed against the vibration suppression object by the elastic body, the pressing force of the friction part against the vibration suppression object can be easily achieved by changing the elastic modulus of the elastic body. Thus, the damping of the vibration to be controlled can be adjusted efficiently.
[0024]
Moreover, according to the said 3rd invention , since an elastic body, a mass body, and a friction part are integrally formed with the board | plate material, a damping device becomes a simple structure. Furthermore, the elastic body is coupled to the end surface of the vibration suppression object on one surface of the plate material, and a predetermined thickness of the friction material attached to the friction portion on the same surface of the plate material is attached to the end surface of the vibration suppression object. Therefore, by changing the thickness of the friction material, it is possible to easily change the pressing force of the friction portion against the vibration suppression target. Similarly to the second aspect , the vibration of the vibration suppression target can be changed. Attenuation can be adjusted efficiently.
[0025]
According to the fourth aspect of the invention , since the friction part is provided in the intermediate part of the adjacent elastic body, the relative displacement between the friction part and the vibration control target is increased, and efficient attenuation due to friction is achieved. Will be able to achieve.
[0026]
Furthermore, according to the fifth aspect of the present invention, the vibration generated when the clutch is engaged can be efficiently damped by providing the vibration damping device in the clutch hub or the clutch drum constituting the clutch mechanism provided in the automatic transmission. The noise resulting from this vibration can be reduced.
[0027]

[0076]
At this time, the rigidity of the first elastic part E is larger than that when the vibration damping device functions as a dynamic damper, and the mass of the mass part F is set to be small. Vibrate in the same phase.

As a result, it is possible to suppress abnormal noise caused by this vibration.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the object to be controlled vibrates due to the vibration from the excitation source, and this vibration is transmitted to the mass body via the elastic body of the vibration control device, so that the mass body vibrates. Become. Since the mass body of the vibration control device vibrates in the same phase as the vibration control target, the vibration of the vibration control target can be attenuated in a wider frequency band than in the case of the dynamic damper, and the vibration control device and the vibration control target Since the vibration is absorbed by the friction generated between the two, the mass body can be made small. Thereby, the load concerning an elastic body is suppressed and an elastic body can also be made small. Therefore, it becomes possible to make the whole damping device small.
[0087]
In this case, according to the first aspect of the invention , since the friction portion is provided with the friction material that is slidably contacted with the vibration suppression target, a larger friction is generated between the friction portion and the vibration suppression target, and the vibration suppression target is generated. The vibration energy of the vibration target is surely absorbed. Therefore, stable vibration suppression can be obtained more effectively.
[0088]
Furthermore, since the friction material is formed of an insulator, no current flows through the friction part when the elastic body of the vibration control device is projection welded to the vibration suppression object, and the friction part is welded to the vibration suppression object. The elastic body can be surely welded without being damaged.
[0089]
According to the second invention , since the friction part is pressed against the vibration suppression object by the elastic body, the pressing force of the friction part against the vibration suppression object can be easily changed by changing the elastic modulus of the elastic body. This can be changed, and the attenuation of the vibration to be controlled can be adjusted efficiently.
[0090]
Further , according to the third invention , the elastic body, the mass body, and the friction portion are integrally formed of the plate material, so that the vibration damping device has a simple structure.
[0091]
According to the fourth aspect of the invention , since the friction part is provided in the intermediate part of the adjacent elastic body, the relative displacement between the friction part and the vibration suppression target is increased, and efficient damping due to friction is achieved. Will be able to.
[0092]
Further, according to the fifth aspect, by providing the clutch hub or clutch drum that constitutes the clutch mechanism provided in the automatic transmission with the vibration damping device, it is possible to efficiently attenuate the vibration that occurs when the clutch is engaged. Noise resulting from this vibration can be reduced.
