Description
Claims (3)
- 一対の基板間に液晶層を挟持してなる液晶表示装置の製造装置であって、
基板を載置するX軸方向及びY軸方向に移動可能なテーブルと、
前記基板上に塗布する配向膜材料を含む液滴を吐出するインクジェットヘッドを備えた液滴吐出装置と、
前記液滴吐出装置により前記基板上に塗布された配向膜材料を乾燥させて配向膜を形成する乾燥装置と、
を備え、
前記基板上に前記配向膜材料を含む液滴を吐出する所定領域を、周辺領域と該周辺領域に囲まれる中央領域に分け、前記液滴吐出装置により前記中央領域に対して少ない量の前記配向膜材料を前記周辺領域に塗布することを特徴とする液晶表示装置の製造装置。 - 前記液滴吐出装置において、
前記基板に吐出する配向膜材料を含む液滴の大きさを所定領域毎に変更することにより、所定領域毎に異なる量の配向膜材料を塗布することを特徴とする請求項1記載の液晶表示装置の製造装置。 - 前記液滴吐出装置において、
前記基板に吐出する配向膜材料を含む液滴の滴下密度を所定領域毎に変更することにより、所定領域毎に異なる量の配向膜材料を塗布することを特徴とする請求項1記載の液晶表示装置の製造装置。
