Description

The present invention divides a vehicle assembly line into zones divided on the basis of mounting work positions and functional configurations of assembly parts, and performs quality assurance of each functional zone by performing inspection and repair in each functional zone. The present invention relates to a vehicle assembly line for the purpose of self-containment.

In the conventional vehicle assembly line, parts are gathered by sub-lines outside the main line and supplied to the main line in a sub-assembled state. In some cases, a human manual assembly zone is provided, and assembly inspection is performed at the end of the main line. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1).
US Pat. No. 4,683,651

In such a conventional vehicle assembly line, after passing through a plurality of assembly processes or zones, appearance inspection and functional inspection are performed in the inspection process. A technique is generally sent to the process and repaired into a finished product.

In addition, the assembly line of vehicles has been developed to share assembly information through a computer network. The vehicle assembly line has a data input device and a data display device composed of a computer or the like in the inspection process and repair process. Is input from the data input device, and the defect point is displayed on the display device of the repair process, and in the repair process, the repair is promptly executed based on the displayed defect point.
However, the conventional vehicle assembly line is configured to inspect the appearance and functions at the completed vehicle inspection department established after leaving the assembly line, and repair the defects that occurred in a common repair process. When many problems occur in the inspection, for example, when problems occur in the initial stage of the assembly line, there is a problem that the burden of the repair process becomes enormous.

Furthermore, when there are many repair items for a defect, there is a problem that the information supplied from the repair process to the department in charge of production becomes enormous and the response is delayed.

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide an assembly line that can easily realize mutual support of workers and can quickly find an assembly defect.
