本発明は電子部品であるアルミニウム電解コンデンサ用リード線の製造装置および接合装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来における電子部品であるアルミニウム電解コンデンサに使用される外部引出用などのリード線の製造装置について、図面を用いて説明する。

図4(a),(b)は従来におけるアルミニウム電解コンデンサ用リード線の製造工程を説明する要部斜視図、図5(a)〜(e)は同リード線の製造方法を説明する要部製造工程図、図6は同製造装置の要部平面図、図7は同リード線のアルミニウム線とCP線の接合状態を示す要部側断面図、そして図8は同製造装置における製造工程中の穴明けとCP線挿入状態を示す要部側断面図である。

アルミニウム電解コンデンサの外部引出用リード線(以後リード線と称する)の製造は、図4(a)に示すように酸素と水素の混合ガスを燃焼させるバーナー1で、アルミニウム線の丸棒部2の形状を維持しながら、丸棒部2を半溶融状態に加熱し、丸棒部2の断面中心部に設けた穴2aに、先端がクサビ形状に加工された銅下地錫引鉄線(以後CP線と称する)3を挿入して接合を行い、図4(b)に示すようなリード線を得ていた。

前記従来のリード線の製造方法では、穴加工後、CP線3を挿入する際、穴の内径に対してCP線3の外径をやや大きくして圧入する形態をとることにより、接合強度などを得ていた。

次に、図5に示すようなリード線の製造方法について説明する。すなわち、まず図5(a)に示すようにアルミニウム線の丸棒部4の端面中心部に穴加工を行うための回転自在な穴加工軸5を設置準備し、そして図5(b)に示すように丸棒部4の端面に回転駆動している穴加工軸5の先端を当接し挿入して所定形状穴の加工穴6を形成する。

その後、図5(c)、図5(d)に示すようにこの加工穴6に沿うようにして、先端がテーパ加工などがなされたCP線7を圧入し、続いて、図5(e)に示すように酸素と水素の混合ガスを燃焼させるバーナー8の炎により、丸棒部4の形状を維持しながら丸棒部4を加熱してアルミニウム線の丸棒部4とCP線7の接合を行うようにしたものである。

前記におけるリード線の製造装置について説明する。図6において、11は巻回された巻出リール11aなどから供出されるアルミニウム線、12は供出されたアルミニウム線11を定寸送りと定寸切断する機能を有している供給部、13は間欠あるいは連続して回転自在なテーブル、13aは回転テーブル13の外周部に定間隔で複数個取付けられたアルミニウム線11を把持するチャック、14は回転自在な穴加工軸5を有する穴加工機構、16は巻出リール15bから供出されたCP線15を定寸送りと定寸切断する機能を有しているCP線供給部、そして17は回転テーブル13の外周部近傍にチャック13aと同じ定間隔に複数配設された酸素と水素の混合ガスを燃焼させるバーナーである。

次に動作について説明する。まず、巻出リール11aから供出されるアルミニウム線11を供給部12により所定寸法に切断加工して、回転テーブル13のチャック13aに一端を保持し、間欠回転する回転テーブル13の回動にともないアルミニウム線11は穴加工機構14に移送され、穴加工機構14においてアルミニウム線11の片側面の中央部にCP線15の外形よりもやや小さな内径の穴が所定の深さに加工される。

その後、穴加工されたアルミニウム線11は間欠回転するテーブル13の回動によりCP線供給部16の直前に移送される。

そして、巻出リール15bから供出されたCP線15をCP線供給部16により所定寸法に切断加工し、その先端部を穴加工機構14で穴加工されたアルミニウム線11の穴に沿うように、アルミニウム線11の酸化皮膜を削りながらアルミニウム線11の穴の内部に圧入する。

次に、CP線15が圧入されたアルミニウム線11は、回転テーブル13の回動によりバーナー17の個所に移送され、複数のバーナー17による燃焼の炎で段階的に外形を維持しながら接合部を加熱する。

この加熱によりアルミニウム線11とCP線15の境界面、すなわち接合部には図7に示すように銅、アルミニウム、錫などからなる合金層19が形成されて接合し、アルミニウム電解コンデンサ用のリード線18の製造が完了するのである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記従来のリード線の製造装置における製造工程のリード線18は、図8に示すようにアルミニウム線11の穴加工後にCP線15を挿入する際、穴の内径とCP線15の外径の関係により、CP線15の表面の錫9がめくれあるいは剥れて外部に出、複数のバーナー17の燃焼炎による加熱時に錫9が飛散し、次工程において異物混入が発生するという課題を有していた。

本発明は前記従来の課題を解決しようとするものであり、アルミニウム線の片側端面の中央部にCP線を圧入する際、発生する錫のめくれあるいは剥れを外部に出すことを確実に防止し、次工程への異物混入を防ぐアルミニウム電解コンデンサ用リード線の製造装置および接合装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記課題を解決するために本発明によるアルミニウム電解コンデンサ用リード線の製造装置は、アルミニウム線を所定形状に切断加工して供出する供給部と、この供給部から送出されるアルミニウム線を保持する複数のチャックを外周部に定間隔に配設した回転自在な回転テーブルと、この回転テーブルの外周部近傍に設置され、かつ前記チャックに保持されたアルミニウム線の一端に傾斜部を有した穴を設けるテーパ部を備えた2段外径のポンチを有する穴加工機構と、所定の切断加工したCP線を保持し前記アルミニウム線に設けた穴にCP線の一端を挿入するCP線供給部と、CP線がアルミニウム線に挿入された結合部を加熱する加熱機構と、外周部近傍にアルミニウム線の加工を行う形状加工機構を配設し回転テーブルと同期回転自在な移載回転テーブルで構成したものであり、次工程への異物の混入を確実に防止することができ、リード線の品質が向上する。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の請求項1に記載の発明は、アルミニウム線を所定形状に切断加工して供出する供給部と、この供給部から送出されるアルミニウム線を保持する複数のチャックを外周部に定間隔に配設した回転自在な回転テーブルと、この回転テーブルの外周部近傍に設置され、かつ前記チャックに保持されたアルミニウム線の一端に傾斜部を有した穴を設けるテーパ部を備えた2段外径のポンチを有する穴加工機構と、所定の切断加工したCP線を保持し前記アルミニウム線に設けた穴にCP線の一端を挿入するCP線供給部と、CP線がアルミニウム線に挿入された結合部を加熱する加熱機構と、外周部近傍にアルミニウム線の加工を行う形状加工機構を配設し回転テーブルと同期回転自在な移載回転テーブルで構成されたアルミニウム電解コンデンサ用リード線の製造装置としたものであり、CP線を挿入する際に錫のめくれあるいは剥れ部分が外部に出ることが無くなるという作用を有する。

次に前記構成におけるリード線の製造装置および接合装置の動作について説明する。まず、巻回された巻出リール22aから供出されるアルミニウム線22を供給部21により整形されかつ所定寸法に切断して、回転テーブル23の外周部に配設されたチャック23aに供給し一端を保持する。

【発明の実施の形態】
アルミニウム線22の片側側面の中央部にCP線27を圧入する際においては、穴加工機構24の先端に設けられた先段43、テーパ部42および後段44の2段に加工形成された2段ポンチ41により、アルミニウム線22に傾斜部45を有する穴加工を行うのであり、図3に示すようにそのテーパ部42により形成された傾斜部45にCP線のめくれあるいは剥れた錫9を溜めることができて、外部に出ることなく、次工程での異物混入が確実に防止できるものであり、リード線40の品質を一層向上させることができる。

アルミニウム線22とCP線27の接合が行われて形成されたリード線40は、回転テーブル23と同期して逆方向に連続あるいは間欠回転駆動している移載回転テーブル28との円周接線部分に配設した別のチャック28aに移載される。

この場合、リード線40におけるアルミニウム線22が回転テーブル23のチャック23aより離脱するとともに、リード線40におけるCP線27が移載回転テーブル28の別のチャック28aに把持されて保持されるのである。

そして、移載回転テーブル28の回動にともなってリード線40は形状加工機構29の個所に移送され、形状加工機構29でリード線40におけるアルミニウム線22を所定の偏平加工などを行った後、所定の形状寸法に切断する。

以上、前記本発明の実施の形態では、リード線40の製造とリード線40とアルミニウム電極箔32の接合を同一の装置内で一貫して行えるようにしているため、従来のようにリード線の製造装置と、リード線40とアルミニウム電極箔32の接合装置をそれぞれ別個に用いる構成のように、リード線40の製造装置で製造されたリード線40を収納箱などに一旦箱詰めして収納し保管することも不要となる。

また、リード線40をアルミニウム電極箔32に接合する場合、収納箱に箱詰めされたリード線40を整列供給するためのパーツフィーダなどの供給や整列部も不要となる。

なお、従来の供給や整列部においては複数のリード線40が振動などにより送出し供給されるため、隣接したリード線40におけるアルミニウム線22とCP線27が摩擦を受け合い、そしてCP線27の半田などがアルミニウム線22に付着し商品の段階で異金属混入などの品質低下につながるという課題があったが、本発明の実施の形態においては、従来のような供給や整列部を必要としないため、品質低下の課題もなくなるものである。

また、前記実施の形態においては、アルミニウム線22とCP線27の結合部を加熱する場合、水素と酸素の混合ガスの燃焼による炎で加熱したが、その他の加熱手段として、誘導加熱、電子ビーム、光ビーム、レーザービームなどを使用してもよい。

【発明の効果】
以上のように本発明によるアルミニウム電解コンデンサ用リード線の製造装置によれば、アルミニウム線の片側側面の中央部にCP線を圧入する際においては、テーパ部を備えた2段に加工形成された2段ポンチにて、アルミニウム線に段差となる傾斜部を有する穴加工を行い、その開口端傾斜部にCP線のめくれあるいは剥れた錫を溜めることにより、外部に出なくなり、次工程での異物混入が確実に防止できるという効果を有する。
