【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an LNG processing apparatus in a LNG carrier ship, and more particularly to a processing apparatus when LNG is used for combustion in a boiler of an LNG carrier ship.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A plurality of cargo tanks are installed on the LNG carrier. This cargo tank stores low-temperature (−162 ° C.) LNG loaded at the loading site at atmospheric pressure and transports it to the destination landing site. Boil-off gas (BOG) generated by LNG vaporizing in the cargo tank during the LNG transport process is used as engine fuel for the LNG transport ship. When the amount of heat of the BOG is insufficient, the LNG in the cargo tank is forcibly vaporized to be used as engine fuel.

[0006]
The present invention is based on the above knowledge, and an LNG vaporizer that vaporizes a supplied liquefied natural gas (hereinafter referred to as LNG) by spraying it on a boil-off gas, and a gas component vaporized by the LNG vaporizer A compressor that receives and pressurizes supply of boil-off gas, a heater that heats the gas component compressed by the compressor, and a boiler that burns the gas component heated by the heater And a circulator (a) for circulating a part of the gas component heated by the heater to the LNG vaporizer.
In the liquefied natural gas processing apparatus of the present invention, a part of the gas component (hot gas) heated by the heater is introduced into the vaporizer through the circulation path (a), while being stored in the cargo tank. The LNG that had been used is also introduced into the vaporizer. The LNG in contact with the hot gas in the vaporizer is vaporized. The gas component from which moisture has been removed from the vaporized LNG is supplied to a compressor, pressurized, and then heated by a heater. After that, it is used as fuel for combustion in a boiler. And since the mist separator conventionally arrange | positioned in the LNG processing apparatus can be used as this vaporizer, it is sufficient to provide a circulation path (a) newly with respect to the conventional LNG processing apparatus.
[0007]
The liquefied natural gas processing apparatus of the present invention preferably further comprises a circulation path (b) for circulating a part of the gas component pressurized by the compressor to the LNG vaporizer. The gas component compressed in the compressor is heated because it is adiabatically compressed. That is, although the temperature is lower than that of hot gas heated by a heater, it can be used as a heat source for LNG vaporization. Therefore, in order to promote vaporization of LNG by hot gas, it is desirable to provide a circulation path (b) for introducing the gas component compressed by the compressor into the LNG vaporizer.
[0008]
The present invention also includes a cargo tank that stores LNG, a mist separator that introduces boil-off gas generated in the cargo tank and removes a liquid component contained in the boil-off gas. A compressor for compressing the boil-off gas from which the liquid component has been removed by the mist separator, a heating means for heating the boil-off gas compressed by the compressor, and heating by the heating means The liquefied natural gas stored in the cargo tank is provided with a boiler that uses the generated boil-off gas as fuel, and a turbine that generates propulsion with steam generated in the boiler. And a part of the boil-off gas heated by the heating means is introduced, and the liquefied natural gas contacts the boil-off gas Providing the LNG carrier, characterized in that region to vaporize from Rukoto is formed.
In the LNG carrier according to the present invention, a part of the liquefied natural gas stored in the cargo tank and the boil-off gas heated by the heating means are introduced into the mist separator. Moreover, the mist separator is formed with a region where the liquefied natural gas is vaporized by contacting the boil-off gas. As described above, the mist separator is also provided in the conventional LNG processing apparatus. Therefore, the LNG processing apparatus of this invention can vaporize LNG, without providing the installation for vaporizing LNG separately.
[0009]
In the LNG carrier according to the present invention, the mist separator has a predetermined volume part, which is a LNG descending region where the liquefied natural gas descends and a BOG rise where the heated boil-off gas rises. An area, and further, a mixed area where the lowered liquefied natural gas and the raised boil-off gas come into contact with and mix with each other can be used.
