Description
図3Aは、四極ブラシレスモータの運転時における固定子10と回転子12との相対する位置関係を示す。図3Bは、無負荷操作時における四極ブラシレスモータの電流の波形を示し、横軸は回転子12の図3A時計回り回転角度(機械角θ)である。図3Aに示す固定子10と回転子12との相対する位置関係と、図3Bに示す電流の波形の比較によって判るように、本実施形態が四極モータであるため、回転子12がA点から時計回り方向に回転した後、回転子12がπ/2角度回転する度に、そのN極とS極とは交替し、この際、磁気回路の変換によって生じる逆起電力は、電流の波形を激しく変化させる。例えば、回転子12がθ1の角度(A′点)からπ/2角度(B点)の区域まで回転した際、磁気回路の変換によって生じる逆起電力のため、電流の波形を図3Bに示すように激しく変化させる。よって、回転子12がnπ/2(n=1,2,3…)に近い角度まで回転する度に、逆起電力によって、回転子のコッギングをより著しくし、運転が乱雑になり大きな振動と騒音を生じる。
図7は、本発明の実施形態2におけるパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路を示すブロック図である。本発明の位相補償PWM制御信号の設計概念を完成させる方法は、前記実施形態1の如く、PWM信号生成ユニット22と駆動回路26との間に電気的に接続された位相補償回路24に制限されない。
尚、前記実施形態による説明は、本発明の内容を簡単に説明するための内容に過ぎず、本発明のPWM信号に対して位相補償を行う方法は、これらの実施形態に制限するものではない。例えば、位相補償機能を駆動回路を有する駆動ICに組み込んでもよく、PWM信号の「オン」期間と「オフ」期間とをモータ運転時の磁気回路の変換に同期させる効果を遂げるものであればよい。

Claims (6)
- 交互に変化する「オン」期間と「オフ」期間とを備えたPWM制御信号を生成するPWM信号生成ユニットと、
前記PWM制御信号に基づき駆動信号をファンモータに出力する駆動回路と、
前記ファンモータに接続され、前記PWM制御信号を所定の位相角に遅延又は前進させることにより、前記ファンモータが運転する際に、磁気回路の変換による逆起電力の作用期間を、PWM制御信号の「オフ」期間に同期させる位相補償ユニットと、
を有することを特徴とするパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路。 - 請求項1に記載のパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路において、
前記位相補償ユニットは、前記ファンモータが入力する回転速度信号に基づき、前記PWM制御信号を所定の位相角に遅延又は前進させた後に前記ファンモータに帰還させることを特徴とするパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路。 - 請求項1に記載のパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路において、
前記位相補償ユニットは、位相遅延回路又は位相前進回路である位相調整回路を有することを特徴とするパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路。 - 請求項3に記載のパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路において、
前記位相補償ユニットは、さらにタイマを有することを特徴とするパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路。 - 請求項1に記載のパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路において、
前記位相補償ユニットは、駆動ICに組み込まれていることを特徴とするパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路。 - 交互に変化する「オン」期間と「オフ」期間とを備えたPWM制御信号を生成するPWM信号生成ユニットと、
前記PWM制御信号に基づき駆動信号をファンモータに出力する駆動回路と、
前記PWM信号生成ユニットと前記駆動回路との間に電気的に接続される位相補償ユニットと、
を有するパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路であって、
前記位相補償ユニットは、ファンモータに接続され、前記ファンモータに入力される前記駆動信号を所定の位相角に遅延又は前進させることにより、前記ファンモータが運転する際に、磁気回路の変換による逆起電力の作用期間を、PWM制御信号の「オフ」期間に同期させることを特徴とするパルス幅変調のファン速度制御回路。
