Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a motorcycle seat, and more particularly to a seat provided with a support portion that can be adjusted and moved in the front-rear direction so as to support an occupant's waist and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Actual Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 3-43108 shows a motorcycle seat having a waist support. This seat is a double seat with a driver's seat and a passenger's seat at the front and back. The passenger's seat is one step higher than the driver's seat, and the lumbar support is movable in the front and rear direction on this step. It is provided and the degree of support for the driver's waist is adjustable.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
By the way, the lumbar support of the conventional example is formed separately from the driver's seat and the passenger's seat, and the driver's seat and the passenger's seat are covered with an integral skin. For this reason, a gap is formed between the lower back support, the driver's seat, and the passenger's seat. However, this gap causes a very difficult design problem in terms of appearance and water penetration. In particular, water intrusion is an extremely serious problem in motorcycle seats that have the opportunity to run in the rain, and it is necessary to immerse the cushioning material made of a sponge-like material such as urethane foam or to prevent rusting. Inundation of the metal mechanism or the like must be prevented, and for this purpose, a complicated structure or an expensive material must be used. Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a motorcycle seat that can solve such problems and can be manufactured with a simple structure and at a low cost.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, a motorcycle seat according to the present invention is a motorcycle seat including a seat portion and a support portion movable in the front-rear direction with respect to the seat portion. The cushion material is covered with a single skin, and a part of the skin is folded between the cushion material of the seat portion and the support portion so as to be able to enter and exit, and is elastically held by the bottom plate that supports the seat portion. The suspension part having a loop part and a connecting part connected to a part of the skin are always pulled toward the bottom plate side supporting the seat part, and the suspension member is moved along with the movement of the support part. The folded portion of the epidermis is pulled out or pulled in by elastically deforming and stretching or contracting .
[0005]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, each cushion material of the seat portion and the support portion is covered with a single skin, so that no gap reaching the seat interior is formed between the seat portion and the support portion. In addition, a part of the skin is pulled to the bottom plate by the suspension member between the cushioning material of the seat and the support part, so that even if the support part moves back and forth, the inside of the seat is eliminated so as to eliminate the slack of the skin. It can be withdrawn at any time. Therefore, even if a support part is provided, water can be prevented from entering the seat, ensuring waterproofing, which is an extremely important problem in motorcycle seats, and maintaining a highly productive appearance. A relatively simple structure can be manufactured at low cost.
[0006]
Note that the present invention can be applied to either a backrest portion that forms a backrest as a support portion or a lumbar support that supports only a waist portion. In the case of a lumbar support, a double seat provided with a driver's seat and a passenger's seat can be provided at the step between the two seats.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, an embodiment constructed as a double seat for a motorcycle will be described with reference to the drawings. 1 is a perspective view of the entire seat, FIG. 2 is a cross-sectional view of the seat along line 2-2 in FIG. 1 when the waist support is retracted, FIG. 4 is a similar view of the waist support advance state, and FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the seat along line 4-4 in FIG. 1, FIG. 5 is a similar view of the lumbar support advance state, FIG. 6 illustrates the operation of the lock mechanism, FIG. 7 is an exploded view of the whole, and FIG. It is a side view of a motorcycle to which an example is applied.
[0008]
First, an outline of a motorcycle seat will be described with reference to FIG.
A double seat DS is provided at the center of the vehicle body. The double seat DS is provided in a driver seat portion 1 on the front side of the vehicle body, a passenger seat portion 2 provided one step higher in the rear thereof, and an intermediate portion thereof. A lumbar support 3 provided on the formed step is provided.
[0009]
A container 40 that opens upward is disposed below the rear half of the double sheet DS, and the opening is covered with the rear half of the bottom plate 4 so as to be freely opened and closed.
In the figure, reference numeral 41 denotes a vehicle body frame that supports the container 40, reference numeral 42 denotes a power unit, reference numeral 43 denotes a rear wheel, reference numeral 44 denotes a front fork, reference numeral 45 denotes a front wheel, and reference numeral 46 denotes a handle.
[0010]
Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the double seat DS includes a resin or metal bottom plate 4, a cushion material 5 placed thereon, a waist support body 6 supported on the bottom plate 4 so as to be movable in the front-rear direction, and A single epidermis 7 is provided that covers them all in one piece.
[0011]
The bottom plate 4 is integrally formed with a driver seat portion 8, a passenger seat portion 9 that is raised to the rear thereof, and a step portion 10 in the middle between the two portions, and the step portion 10 is formed in the front-rear direction. A pair of pipe-shaped stay guides 11 are provided on the left and right sides that extend through. As shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, on the back side of the passenger seat portion 9, a lock plate 12 is supported by the stay guide 11 so as to be slidable in the direction orthogonal to the axes of the both stay guides 11 and immovable in the axial direction. ing.
[0012]
As shown in FIG. 7 , a pair of lock holes 13 provided on the left and right sides of the lock plate 12 are partially formed with a lock portion 14 having a string shape, and the lock portion 14 is formed by a return spring 15 such as a coil spring. The stay guide 11 is biased so as to enter the inside through slits 16 provided at appropriate intervals on the side surface.
[0013]
One end of the return spring 15 is attached to an appropriate non-moving portion such as a pin fixed to the passenger seat portion 9 side, the lock plate 12 is pulled by the return spring 15 and moved to a locked position, and the return spring 15 By pulling the knob 18 formed by bending one end in the length direction of the lock plate 12 against the elasticity of the lock plate 14, the lock portion 14 can be brought into the unlocked position extracted from the stay guide 11.
[0014]
As shown in FIG. 7 , the cushion material 5 is constructed of a sponge-like material made of an appropriate material such as urethane foam, and the driver seat portion 20 that overlaps the driver seat portion 8 of the bottom plate 4 and the bottom plate 4. The passenger seat portion 21 that overlaps the passenger seat portion 9 and the step portion 22 that overlaps the step portion 10 of the bottom plate 4 are integrally formed.
[0015]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, each cushion material of the seat portion and the support portion is covered with a single skin, so that no gap reaching the seat interior is formed between the seat portion and the support portion. Moreover, each of the seat part and the support part is provided by a suspension member having a loop part of an elastic body that is locked to a bottom plate that supports the seat part and a connecting part that is connected to a part of the skin part. Since it was always pulled from the cushion material to the bottom plate side, the support part elastically deforms the hanging member as it moves back and forth and stretches or contracts, thereby pulling out the folded part of the epidermis or It can be pulled in and can always be pulled into the seat so as to eliminate sagging of the epidermis. Therefore, even if a support part is provided, water can be prevented from entering the seat, ensuring waterproofing, which is an extremely important problem in motorcycle seats, and maintaining a highly productive appearance. A relatively simple structure can be manufactured at low cost.
[0016]
The lumbar support body 6 fits into the opening 23 and is made of the same material as that of the cushion material 5. The lumbar pad 24 has a shape suitable for supporting the lumbar region, and a pad frame 25 that supports the back side thereof. A guide stay 26 is provided to which a front end portion can be attached to the pad frame 25.
[0017]
The guide stays 26 are rod-like members that are made of a suitable material such as metal and that are parallel to the front-rear direction, and lock grooves 27 are formed on the outer periphery of each guide stay 26 at appropriate intervals. In addition, a clip 29 for retaining is attached to the annular groove 28 at the rearmost part.
[0018]
The waist support body 6 is integrated into the cushion material 5 by fitting the waist pad 24 and the pad frame 25 into the opening 23 and inserting the left and right guide stays 26 into the left and right stay guides 11 respectively. In addition, the guide stay 26 can be moved forward and backward by being guided by the stay guide 11. The movement of the lumbar support body 6 is adjusted in the front-rear position by a lock mechanism described later.
[0019]
The skin 7 is a single body formed so as to continuously cover each of the driver seat portion 20, the passenger seat portion 21 and the step portion 22 of the cushion material 5. A driver seat portion 30 covering the passenger seat portion 20, a passenger seat portion 31 covering the passenger seat portion 21 of the cushion material 5, and a waist support portion 32 overlapping the waist support body 6 are formed.
[0020]
The skin 7 in which these parts are integrated is preferably formed into a predetermined shape by non-sewing processing using high frequency or the like using synthetic leather or the like. Alternatively, a known appropriate non-sewing molding method such as blow molding or slush molding may be used. However, as the skin 7, such a non-sewn structure is preferable for waterproofing, but it may be formed by sewing.
The outer skin 7 is placed over the cushion material 5 and the peripheral terminal portion is fixed to the back side of the passenger seat portion 9 by a known appropriate means.
[0021]
In addition, by forming the guide hole 11a (FIGS. 2 to 5) for penetrating the guide stay 26 in the stay guide 11, a hole is formed in the step 10 portion of the bottom plate 4 that covers the container 40. However, this guide hole 11a is eventually covered by the skin 7 covering the entire double sheet DS, and is waterproofed against the container 40, so that water or the like does not enter the container 40. ing.
[0022]
2 to 5 show the structure of the lumbar support 3 part. Of these figures, FIGS. 2 and 4 show the retracted state of the lumbar support 3, and FIGS. 3 and 5 show the advanced state thereof. As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the boundary 33 between the driver seat portion 30 and the waist support portion 32 of the skin 7 is a gap between the rear end portion of the driver seat portion 20 and the lower end portion of the waist pad 24. It is folded in two into the shape of 34 and pushed in, and is pulled by the suspension member 35 to the bottom plate 4 side.
[0023]
The suspension member 35 has an elastic loop portion 36 such as a rubber band, which is locked to a hook portion 37 formed on the bottom plate 4 side, and one end side is a boundary via a connecting portion 38. It is attached to the upper part of the portion 33, and the boundary portion 33 is always drawn inward of the gap 34.
[0024]
6 shows a locked state in the lock mechanism of the lower back support body 6, and B portion shows an unlocked state. As is apparent from these drawings, the lock mechanism is constituted by the lock member 9, the guide stay 26, the stay guide 11, and the like, the lock plate 12 is moved by the return spring 15, and the lock portion 14 enters the slit 16, and When the guide stay 26 is fitted into the lock groove 27, the guide stay 26 is locked, and the back and forth movement of the guide stay 26 relative to the stay guide 11 is restricted, and the waist support body 6 is fixed at a predetermined position.
[0025]
On the other hand, if the lock plate 12 is pulled out against the return spring 15 and the lock portion 14 is detached from the lock groove 27 and the slit 16, the guide stay 26 is slidable in the front-rear direction with respect to the stay guide 11, It can be positioned at a predetermined position. In addition, since a plurality of lock grooves 27 are provided at predetermined intervals in the length direction of the guide stay 26, the position of the lumbar pad 24 can be adjusted and fixed in various ways, so that the degree of lumbar support by the lumbar support 3 is adjustable. become.
[0026]
Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described. As apparent from FIGS. 2 and 4, the skin 7 is continuously provided on the driver seat portion 20 of the cushion material 5, the passenger seat portion 21, the step portion 22, and the waist pad 24 of the waist support body 6. Covering integrally, the waist support body 6 moves backward and is positioned in the opening 23 formed in the step portion 22 of the cushion material 5.
[0027]
In order to strongly support the occupant's waist from this state, if the lock mechanism is released and the lumbar support body 6 is advanced as shown in FIG. 3 and FIG. The waist support portion 32 is pulled forward to advance, and at this time, the portion of the boundary portion 33 that has been folded into the gap 34 is pulled out along with the extension of the loop portion 36 due to elastic deformation, and the waist support body 6 advances. Enable.
[0028]
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, if the lower back support body 6 is retracted, the excess portion of the boundary 33 is accompanied by the elastic contraction of the loop portion 36 of the suspension member 35. It is drawn into the gap 34 and does not show wrinkled sagging on the surface of the sheet. Therefore, even if the waist support body 6 is provided so as to be movable back and forth, and even if the waist support body 6 is covered with the integral skin 7, there is no slack that impairs the appearance on the seat surface at all times. Can keep.
[0029]
Further, since the entire skin is a single skin 7, even if water enters the boundary portion 33 due to running in the rain or the like, it is a groove in which a single continuous skin 7 is folded here, so that the inside of this is further down. It cannot be entered, and will eventually fall downward from the side of the sheet. Therefore, even if the lower back support 3 is provided, the waterproofness that is the most problematic in the motorcycle seat can be effectively maintained.
[0030]
Moreover, since the entire skin 7 is covered with a single sheet, the number of parts is smaller than when the skin 7 is formed separately for each part of the cushioning material 5, and it is not necessary to provide a special waterproof structure. It is simple and can be manufactured at low cost.
[0031]
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various modifications and applications are possible. For example, the hanging member 34 can be applied with various known means such as using a coil spring. The same applies to the lock mechanism.
[0032]
Furthermore, the motorcycle seat to be applied may be a single seat. In addition, the support portion may be of various types including a backrest portion that supports not only the waist support but also the upper back of the occupant.
