Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a recording medium such as a magneto-optical disk in which data is recorded in units of programs and management information for managing data recording / reproducing operations in units of programs is recorded. The present invention relates to an editing apparatus capable of editing information.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Various recording media and recording / reproducing apparatuses corresponding to them have been developed. In particular, as known as a mini-disc system in recent years, ones in which a user can freely record music data and the like have become widespread.
[0003]
In this mini-disc system, for example, one piece of music generally used for music or the like is recorded as one program (track), but the user can record character data corresponding to the recorded music. Has been. For example, when the character information such as the disc title and artist name of the disc recorded by the user and the edit processing for registering or deleting the character information such as the song name recorded by the user can be performed and the character information is registered Is capable of displaying character information such as a disc title, artist name, and song title on a display unit provided in the playback apparatus during playback.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional editing process for erasing character information has an all erase function for erasing all registered character information, so among the registered character information such as the disc title, artist name, and song name, for example, the song name If you accidentally register, you could not delete only the name of the song that was registered incorrectly.
For this reason, for example, when a song name is registered by mistake, all character information is erased once and then newly registered, or a song name to be erased is selected in a character input mode for registering character information, for example, a space. It was very inconvenient to enter a space one by one with the key and delete it.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made in view of such problems, and an object thereof is to provide an editing function capable of deleting character information for each registered artist name and music title.
[0006]
For this reason,A main data recording area in which main data is recorded, and a management area for managing the main data and the recording medium name. The management area has a predetermined track name and / or recording medium name of the main data as character information. In an editing apparatus that updates the track name and / or recording medium name recorded on a recording medium that is divided into slots in units of characters and combines the divided slots with link information, the management data is transferred from the recording medium. Reproducing means for reproducing, recording means for recording the management data of the recording medium, operating means for user input operation, and reproducing means for main data for which erasure of a track name is designated by the operating means Link information of the slot that is the end of the track name linked from the entry point of the track name of the management data that is played back by hand Is rewritten to the unused area information of the management data reproduced by the reproducing means, and the unused area information of the management data is rewritten to the entry point of the track name of the main data designated to be erased. Further, control means for erasing the entry point of the track name of the main data for which the erasure is designatedAnd was prepared.
[0007]
In the case where the erasing of the recording medium name is designated by the operation means, the control means further sets link information of the last slot of the recording medium name recorded in the management area as an unused area of the management data. The information is rewritten, and the unused area information of the management data is rewritten to the entry point of the recording medium name, and the entry point of the recording medium name is deleted.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the editing apparatus of the present invention will be described.
In this embodiment, a magneto-optical disk (mini disk) is used as a recording medium, and a recording / reproducing apparatus having a function as an editing apparatus is used.

The edit mode includes a name mode for inputting and deleting characters such as song names and names for the disc and each track, a divide mode for dividing one track into a plurality of tracks, and a plurality of tracks as one track. There are a combine mode for linking and an erase mode for erasing a track. As will be described later, in the recording / reproducing apparatus having a function as an editing apparatus according to the present embodiment, when erasing for each disk name or track name is performed, it is provided in a layer below the name mode of the edit mode. This is done by selecting the disc name erase mode or the track name erase mode.

Subsequently, 4 bytes are added to the address which becomes the cluster address (Cluster H) (Cluster L) and the sector address (Sector) and the mode information (MODE), and the header is thus obtained.
[0039]
As described above, a sector is a data unit of 2352 bytes, and 36 sectors constitute one cluster. The synchronization pattern and address are recorded not only in the
The cluster address is described by 2 bytes of an upper address (Cluster H) and a lower address (Cluster L), and the sector address (Sector) is described by 1 byte.
Next, at the specified byte position, manufacturer code, model code, track number of the first track (First TNO), track number of the last track (Last TNO), sector usage status (Used sectors), disk serial number, disk ID, etc. Data is recorded.
[0040]
Further, various table pointers (P) are used as the correspondence table instruction data portion in order to identify the track (music etc.) area and free area recorded by the user by making them correspond to the management table portion described later. -DFA, P-EMPTY, P-FRA, P-TNO1 to P-TNO255) are recorded.
[0041]
Then, 255 parts tables (01h) to (FFh) are provided as management table sections corresponding to the table pointers (P-DFA to P-TNO255). Each part table has a certain part. The start address, the end address, and the mode information (track mode) of the part are recorded. Furthermore, since the parts indicated in each part table may be connected to other parts in succession, link information indicating the part table in which the start address and end address of the connected part are recorded can be recorded. Has been.
[0042]
In the present specification, numerical values with “h” are in so-called hexadecimal notation. A part refers to a track portion in which temporally continuous data is physically continuously recorded in one track.
[0043]
In this type of recording / reproducing apparatus, even if the data of one music is physically discontinuous, that is, recorded over a plurality of parts, it is possible to reproduce while accessing between the parts, so there is no problem in the reproducing operation. The music recorded by the user may be recorded in multiple parts for the purpose of efficient use of the recordable area.
[0044]
For this reason, link information is provided, and the part tables can be connected by designating the part tables to be connected by, for example, the numbers (01h) to (FFh) given to the respective part tables.
In other words, in the management table section in the

The table pointer P-EMPTY indicates the first part table of one or more unused part tables in the management table section. If there is an unused part table, the table pointer P-EMPTY is (01h ) ~ (FFh) is recorded. When there are multiple unused part tables, the part tables are specified sequentially by link information from the part table specified by the table pointer P-EMPTY, and all unused part tables are linked on the management table section. Is done.
[0048]
The table pointer P-FRA indicates a free area (including an erasure area) in which data can be written on the magneto-
[0049]
FIG. 4 schematically shows the management state of the parts that become free areas using the parts table. This is because when parts (03h) (18h) (1Fh) (2Bh) (E3h) are free areas, this state continues from the table pointer P-FRA to the parts table (03h) (18h) (1Fh) (2Bh ) (E3h) indicates the state represented by the link. The management form of the above-described defective area and unused parts table is the same as this.
[0050]
By the way, if the magneto-optical disc has no recording of audio data such as music and has no defects, the parts table (01h) is specified by the table pointer P-FRA, which makes the entire recordable user area of the disc. Is shown as a free area. In this case, since the remaining (02h) to (FFh) parts tables are not used, the parts table (02h) is specified by the table pointer P-EMPTY described above, and the parts table (02h) The parts table (03h) is specified as the link information, and so on. In this case, the link information of the parts table (FFh) is “(00h)” indicating no connection thereafter.
At this time, in the parts table (01h), the start address of the recordable user area is recorded as the start address, and the address immediately before the lead-out start address is recorded as the end address.
[0051]
Table pointers P-TNO1 to P-TNO255 indicate tracks such as music recorded by the user on the magneto-
For example, when the music set as the first track is recorded on the disc without being divided, that is, recorded as one part, the recording area of the first track is the part table indicated by the table pointer P-TNO1. Recorded as start and end addresses.
[0052]
Further, for example, when the music set as the second track is discretely recorded on a plurality of parts on the disc, each part is designated according to the temporal order to indicate the recording position of the second track. In other words, from the part table specified in the table pointer P-TNO2, other part tables are further specified in accordance with the time order in accordance with the link information, and the part table in which the link information becomes “(00h)” is linked. (The same form as in FIG. 4 above).
[0053]
In this way, for example, all the parts in which the data constituting the second music is recorded are sequentially designated and recorded, so that the data of the

In the slots (01h) to (FFh), character information as a disc title or track name is recorded in ASCII code. The 8 bytes before the slot (01h) are a dedicated area for the disk name.
For example, characters input by the user corresponding to the first track are recorded in the slot designated by the slot pointer P-TNA1. In addition, since the slots are linked by the link information, the character input corresponding to one track can be handled even if it is larger than 7 bytes (7 characters).

In the slots (01h) to (FFh), the recording date of the music (track) is recorded in 6 bytes. Each 6 bytes is recorded with a numerical value corresponding to year, month, day, hour, minute, and second, one byte at a time. The remaining 2 bytes are used as a manufacturer code and a model code, and code data indicating the manufacturer of the recording apparatus that recorded the music and code data indicating the model of the recording apparatus that recorded the music are recorded.
The 8-byte slot before the slot (01h) is an area for recording date / time data for the disc.
[0060]
For example, when a song is recorded as the first song on the disc, the recording date and time, the manufacturer code of the recording device, and the model code are recorded in the slot designated by the slot pointer P-TRD1. The recording date / time data is automatically recorded by the

When the track name erase mode is selected by the user and a predetermined number “X” is input from the numeric key 39 in response to a track number input request, the slot pointer P-TNA (X ) Is confirmed (F111), and it is determined whether the link information is (00h) (F112).
[0071]
If it is determined that the link information of the character slot indicated by the slot pointer P-TNA (X) is not “(00h)”, the link information of the character slot indicated by the link information is checked (F113). ), The process returns to step F112 again to determine whether or not the link information is (00h). This processing operation is performed until it is determined in step F112 that the character slot link information is (00h).
If it is determined in step F112 that the link information is (00h), the process proceeds to step F114, and the value of the slot pointer P-EMPTY is written in the link information of the character slot in which the link information (00h) has been written ( F114). Further, the value of the slot pointer P-TNA (X) is written into the slot pointer P-EMPTY, and (00h) is written into the slot pointer P-TNA (X) (F115, F116).
[0072]
An example of updating the U-TOC sector executed by this processing is shown in FIGS. First, it is assumed that character information is recorded as shown in FIG.

(04h) written to P-EMPTY is written, slot pointer P-EMPTY is written to slot pointer P-TNA1, (01h) is written, and slot pointer P-TNA1 is written (00h) is written (F114, F115, F116), and the data contents are updated. In FIGS. 10 and 11, “(00h)” is expressed as “−”.

Therefore, as shown in () in FIG. 11, erasure of character data is realized even if character data for 7 bytes in each character slot is not actually erased.
Of course, the character data portion of the character slot may actually be erased.
[0077]
Although detailed explanation is omitted, even when the disk erase mode is selected and the disk name is deleted, the character slot in which the disk name has been written by the same processing operation is not linked to the slot pointer P-EMPTY. This can be realized by incorporating it as a slot used.

In addition, the update process for erasing the character information of the

Furthermore, in the present embodiment, the case where the present invention is applied to a mini-disc has been described, but the present invention can be applied to any system in which character information is managed by management information, and the recording medium is a disc. For example, the present invention can be applied to a tape recording medium or a recording apparatus corresponding to a solid memory form.
[0079]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, the editing apparatus of the present invention is provided with the designation operation means for designating the character information recorded in correspondence with the character information recorded on the recording medium or the program (track) unit by the user. Since only the character information designated by the designation operation means is erased by the management information update means, the character information for the recording medium or the character information recorded corresponding to the data recorded in units of programs is erased. Thus, the character information editing process can be easily performed.
