従来の車両においては、実公平3−4572号公報に例示されているように、リトラクタから上方へ延びるシートベルトを車両前方へ屈曲させる場合、シートベルトをガイドするスルーリングをセンタピラーの頂面に取り付け、上記頂面の裏側にアンカープレートを固着して、センタピラー取付け部を補強するように構成されているが、閉断面であるセンタピラーの頂面裏側に特別なアンカープレートをわざわざ固着するため、車体重量の増加と共に、製造コストの上昇を招くという問題があった。

本発明は、車両におけるシートベルトのガイド部材を、特別な部品の増加を招くことなく車体へ強固に取り付けることができるようにしようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
このため、本発明にかかる車体構造は、センタピラーより後方における車体のアウタパネル及びインナパネル間に配置された窓ガラス昇降機構と、上記窓ガラス昇降機構における基板の上縁部及び上記インナパネルの上縁部にそれぞれ連結されベルトラインに沿って車両前後方向に延び閉断面が形成された補強部材と、上記補強部材の頂面に端部が取り付けられてシートベルトリトラクタから上方へ延びるシートベルトを車両前方へ屈曲させるガイド部材とを有している。

この場合、窓ガラス昇降機構の補強部材は、重量が比較的大きくて上下する窓ガラスを確実に支持するため高い剛性をそなえており、かつ、窓ガラスの支持性能を高めるため窓ガラス昇降機構における基板の上縁部及びインナパネルの上縁部にそれぞれ連結されているので、この補強部材の頂面にガイド部材を取り付けることにより、シートベルトリトラクタから上方へ延びるシートベルトをガイド部材が適当な高さで車両前方へ屈曲させてガイドすることができ、また、ガイド部材を車体に取り付けるとき、特別な取り付け部品等を付加する必要性が解消できることとなる。

以下、図面に示す本発明の実施形態例について説明する。
車両のセンタピラー1より後方における車体2のアウタパネル3とインナパネル4との間に窓ガラス昇降機構5が設置され、窓ガラス6がボルト7で窓ガラス昇降機構5に連結されて、窓ガラス昇降機構5の作動により昇降すると共に、窓ガラス昇降機構5の上下に延びる基板8と、基板8の上縁部に沿って、すなわち、車体2のベルトライン11に沿って車両前後方向に延び閉断面9aを形成する補強部材9とが相互に連結され、補強部材9が基板8の上縁部を補強している一方、基板8及び補強部材9が上下の複数個所でボルト10によりインナパネル4へ固定されている。
