Description
【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an optical device, and is particularly suitable for a power transmission mechanism for moving a lens group in a photographing lens used for television photographing or the like for focusing or zooming.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, in an optical device such as a photographing lens used in television photographing or the like, predetermined optical means is driven by a driving force in order to perform zoom (magnification), focus, iris adjustment, filter insertion / removal, and the like.
[0003]
Taking a taking lens for television photography as an example, the lens group is generally driven by rotating an operation ring connected to the lens group provided on the exterior surface of the lens group. The operation ring is driven manually or electrically by the photographer depending on the shooting situation. In order to electrically drive the operation ring, a drive unit is provided in a part of the lens barrel.
[0004]
The drive unit includes various switches, an electric motor, and a power transmission mechanism that couples the electric motor to the operation ring of the lens barrel. An electric motor is driven by the switch operation of the cameraman, and the operation ring is driven through a power transmission mechanism. When the predetermined lens group is driven manually, the operation ring is directly rotated by the cameraman's hand, or the lever attached on the operation ring is operated to rotate.
[0005]
As described above, since the operation ring of the photographic lens is driven by two methods, manual and electric, the power transmission mechanism in the drive unit has a structure that can be switched to selection according to two operation modes.
[0006]
FIG. 4 is an external view of a conventional photographic lens. 5 and 6 are enlarged explanatory views of a part of FIG. In the figure, 30 is a lens body, 31 is a drive unit, 32 is a focus ring, 33 is a zoom ring, and 34 is an iris ring.
[0007]
Next, the power transmission mechanism of the photographing lens shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 will be described. FIG. 5 shows a power transmission path when a predetermined lens group is driven by an electric motor constituting the

[0014]
In addition, a power transmission member that transmits power by meshing teeth and a torque limiter member that limits the transmission torque during overload rotation to prevent tooth surface loss are the power transmission that connects the drive motor and the lens group operating ring. In the mechanism, they are provided independently as separate members.
[0015]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The conventional optical apparatus shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 has the following problems.
[0016]
The operation force of the conventional lens operation ring is uniquely determined in the lens manufacturing process, and it is impossible for the lens user to obtain an operation feeling according to his / her preference.
[0017]
However, in order to shoot better images in various shooting situations, it is extremely important to be able to operate the operation ring comfortably, and a photographic lens that can easily adjust the operation force of the operation ring from the outside is desired. Yes.
[0018]
As a second problem, when a predetermined lens group in a photographic lens having a power transmission mechanism is electrically driven, an intermediate gear positioned between the motor output gear and the operation ring is connected to an output gear from the motor. The structure engaged with the two gears of the operation ring.
[0019]
In general, since a backlash exists in the meshing portion of the gear, a time lag occurs from when the motor is started until the operation ring is driven. When the motor is driven at a high speed and the operation ring is driven to rotate instantaneously, the time lag at this time is not a big problem for practical use. However, there is a drawback that a time lag from when a command to drive the lens group to when the lens group starts to operate becomes a big problem, and a photographing screen intended by the cameraman cannot be obtained.
[0020]
Therefore, when driving the lens group, it is desired to suppress the backlash of the gear train from the motor to the operation ring as much as possible. Also, since the lens group is selectively switched between electric driving and manual driving by operating the clutch lever, switching time is required and operability is not always good. Furthermore, since the torque limiter member that limits the transmission torque at the time of overload rotation and the power transmission member that transmits the power by meshing the gears are each configured separately as a separate member around the lens barrel, In addition to requiring a large number of parts and occupying a large amount of space in the drive unit, the drive unit has become complicated and has become a barrier to miniaturization and cost reduction.
[0021]
According to the present invention, the operating ring is manually driven to drive the optical means held in the casing, or the rotational power generated by the electric motor is driven using a power transmission mechanism that transmits the optical means to the optical means. At this time, by appropriately configuring the power transmission mechanism, the backlash is reduced, the time lag until the optical means is operated is reduced, and the optical means is not required for switching between electric drive and manual drive. Can be driven manually and electrically, and the operating force of the operating ring can be adjusted steplessly, resulting in good operability and a torque limiter mechanism that limits the transmission torque during overload rotation. It is another object of the present invention to provide a lens barrel or an optical device that is miniaturized and simplified as a whole.
[0022]

The basic structure of drive transmission by an ultrasonic motor is that piezoelectric ceramics (having the property of expanding and contracting in one direction when a voltage is applied) is bonded to the bottom, the top has very regular protrusions, and the cross section is trapezoidal. Each element is set to satisfy Where TFMeans a combined torque of the hysteresis torque and the friction torque, and limits the transmission torque. Torque TLAnd this torque TFIs not included.
[0056]
The limit torque TF Can be adjusted by torque adjusting means, but is adjusted within a range satisfying this conditional expression.
[0057]
Here, when the ultrasonic motor (vibration wave driving means) is used as the driving means as in this embodiment, the large holding torque of the ultrasonic motor described above is the limit torque T.M Therefore, there is an advantage that it is not necessary to add special reverse rotation restricting means (means for restricting rotation of the drive system from the output side) to the drive system including the drive means.
[0058]
Torque TL Fluctuates due to fluctuations in environmental conditions and conditions such as the rotational speed of the manual operating means, and the limit torque TF And limit torque TM However, it is necessary to set each element so that the inequality is satisfied over a predetermined range of these condition fluctuations.
[0059]
This facilitates manual and electric drive operations. T for manual operationL+ TFThe manual ring 11 is rotated by the operating torque.
[0060]
In addition to the ultrasonic motor, an electromagnetic motor such as a DC motor may be used.M Should be set larger.
[0061]
Still other methods include, for example, a reduction gear with multiple stages of planetary gears, spur gears, etc., with a high reduction ratio, a reduction gear with zero backlash or reduced backlash as much as possible. As a result, a speed reducer having a very large reverse torque can be used, such as a speed reducer having a mechanism.
[0062]
As described above, according to the present embodiment, when the operating ring is electrically driven, the rotational torque of the driving means can be reliably transmitted to the driven side, and when driven manually, for example, the vibration wave is applied to the driving means. When a motor or the like that cannot be back-driven is used, the operating torque of the operating ring is determined by the rotational torque (His torque, friction torque) generated by the magnetic coupling means and the operating torque accompanying the lens movement of the photographing lens.
[0063]
And since the operation force of the manual operation ring 11 can be arbitrarily set steplessly, good operability can be obtained.
[0064]
As a result, not only a stable rotational torque of the magnetic coupling means can be obtained, but also a desired rotational torque can be obtained by the torque adjusting means 101. In addition, the driving means can be protected against overload and reverse driving on the driven side. The structure is also very simple and does not require much space, so it can be placed near the operation ring, helping to reduce size and cost. Further, by using a ring-shaped vibration wave motor as a driving means, it is possible to effectively use a space in accordance with a cylindrical photographing lens. In addition, there is an effect that the structure does not cause backlash and the response is very good.

【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, as described above, the operating force of the operating ring can be adjusted steplessly, and good operability can be obtained. In addition, when operating the operating ring manually to drive the optical means held in the housing, or when using a power transmission mechanism that transmits the rotational power generated by the electric motor to the optical means, By appropriately configuring the transmission mechanism, the backlash is reduced, the time lag until the optical means is activated is reduced, and the optical means is manually and manually operated without switching between electric and manual drive. It is possible to achieve an optical device that can be driven electrically, and that omits a torque limiter mechanism that limits transmission torque during overload rotation, thereby reducing the size and simplification of the entire device.
