Description
【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to an end bearing of a one-way clutch, and more particularly to an end bearing of a one-way clutch suitable for use in, for example, an automatic transmission.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a one-way clutch, an annular inner race provided on the radially inward side, an annular outer race surrounding the inner race, and a slidably interposed between the inner race and the outer race. A plurality of sprags, a retainer for retaining the sprags, a ribbon spring for pressing the sprags against the raceway surfaces of the two races, and a peripheral surface of the two races axially outward from the retainer. And an annular end bearing slidably interposed therebetween to support a radial load acting on the two races.
As the end bearing of the conventional one-way clutch, the following four types are known.
That is, the first configuration is manufactured by press-forming a phosphor bronze plate.
The second configuration is manufactured by press-forming a plate-shaped material obtained by sintering an iron plate and phosphor bronze powder.
The third configuration is manufactured by cutting high-strength brass into a required shape.
A fourth configuration is known in which steel is cut, quenched and tempered, polished, and then its surface is subjected to a manganese phosphate coating treatment or the like.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional end bearings described above have the following disadvantages.
That is, in the first configuration, since the rigidity of the end bearing is small, the elastic deformation of the end bearing increases when the load in the radial direction increases, thereby causing a decrease in the function of the entire one-way clutch. Or the one-way clutch may be damaged in some cases.
In the second configuration, the elastic deformation is smaller than that of the first configuration. However, since the iron plate is annealed in the sintering process during manufacturing, the strength of the end bearing decreases, and There was a disadvantage of being deformed.
Further, the third configuration has a disadvantage that the cost of the whole one-way clutch is high because the material cost is high.
Further, in the fourth embodiment, the required rigidity can be secured, but the conformability and self-lubricating property of the manganese phosphate salt film formed on the surface are poor, so that a high seizure resistance is required to secure sufficient seizure resistance. There is a drawback that dimensional accuracy is required, and as a result, the cost of the whole one-way clutch increases.
In view of this, the applicant of the present application has promoted the improvement of the end bearing by applying Pb-based plating or the like to the surface of the steel plate in Japanese Patent Application No. 5-219298, but it has been used for a long time or under severe operating conditions. However, it was still necessary to further improve the durability.

[Means for Solving the Problems]
In view of such circumstances, the first present invention described in
The end bearing, a main body portion made of an iron-based material composed of an inner cylindrical portion, an outer cylindrical portion, and an annular portion connecting these, and a hard coating portion made of hard plating formed on the surface of the main body portion And, in a one-way clutch composed of a soft coating portion made of soft plating formed on the surface of the hard coating portion,
The soft coating portion is composed of a double or triple plating layer, and a plurality of plating layers constituting the soft coating portion are formed over the entire surface of the main body portion covering the hard coating portion. The innermost plating layer forming the coating portion is made of a Pb-based alloy, and the uppermost plating layer forming the soft coating portion is made of Sn or a Sn alloy.
A second aspect of the present invention provides an annular inner race provided radially inward, an annular outer race surrounding the inner race, the inner race and the outer race. A plurality of sprags slidably interposed between the sprags, a retainer for retaining the sprags, a ribbon spring for pressing the sprags against the raceway surfaces of the two races, and an axially outer side than the retainer. An annular end bearing slidably interposed between the peripheral surfaces of the two races to support a radial load acting on the two races,
The end bearing, a main body portion made of an iron-based material composed of an inner cylindrical portion, an outer cylindrical portion, and an annular portion connecting these, and a hard coating portion made of hard plating formed on the surface of the main body portion And, in a one-way clutch composed of a soft coating portion made of soft plating formed on the surface of the hard coating portion,
The soft coating portion is formed of a double plating layer, and the inner plating layer is formed only on the inner and outer sliding contact surfaces of the main body portion, and the outer plating layer of the soft coating portion is formed. Is formed over the entire surface of the main body.
[0005]
[Action]
According to such a configuration, since an iron-based material is used for the main body, it is possible to secure sufficient rigidity to withstand a radial load acting on the end bearing.
In addition, the sliding surface of the end bearings is composed of a soft coating, so that the end bearings have a good fit when sliding on the inner and outer races, and have excellent seizure resistance and durability. Can be provided.
Furthermore, since the hard coating portion is interposed between the main body portion and the soft coating portion, even if the soft coating portion serving as the sliding contact surface is worn, the sliding characteristics are not so good with the steel plate, Since the main body portion can be prevented from being worn by the hard coating portion, seizure resistance can be improved. Further, depending on the combination of the hard and soft coating portions, the diffusion reaction of the soft coating member to the hard coating member progresses during use, the adhesion between the soft coating portion and the hard coating portion is improved, and the sliding of the hard coating portion is further improved. Dynamic characteristics are also improved.
Therefore, it is possible to provide a one-way clutch which is superior in seizure resistance and durability as compared with the related art.
