b(n)=A・b(n−1)+(1−A)・k(n)

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to digital servo control for controlling a robot arm or a feed axis of a machine tool. In particular, the present invention relates to a tandem control method when the same movable member (same axis) is driven by a plurality of servomotors.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In a robot or a machine tool, when a movable member to be moved is large and a single motor for driving the moving axis cannot be accelerated or decelerated, or the backlash between the motor and the movable member is large, and the movable member is For example, when it is not possible to move the motor in a stable manner, a torque command is given to two motors, and tandem control for driving the same axis by the two motors is performed.
14 to 17 are diagrams showing examples of tandem control using a conventional digital servo. FIG. 14 shows a first tandem control example in which the movable member is moved linearly, in which the drive of a linear rack 120 as a movable member is controlled by two motors, a main motor 100 and a

[0009]
In conventional tandem control by digital servo, position control and speed control are performed only on the main side, and current control is independently controlled. In this conventional control, if a large torque is required on the main side when there is a large backlash, the sub motor will collide at high speed because the speed control is not performed, and the stability of the system will be degraded.
[0010]
Therefore, as a means for solving such a problem, a
[0011]
FIG. 20 is a view for explaining the operation by the tandem control. In FIG. 20 (a) to (e), the table, which is a movable member, is sequentially accelerated from the stopped state ((a) in the figure) ((b) in the figure) to be constant. In the state where the speed is set ((c) in the drawing), and then the vehicle is decelerated ((d) in the drawing) and stopped again ((e) in the drawing), the change in the position and torque command between each axis and the movable member is shown. ing. As described with reference to FIG. 19, since the preload torques in the opposite directions to the torque command Tc calculated by the speed control unit are applied to the main shaft 105 and the sub shaft 115, the torque command Tc1 for the main shaft becomes Tc1. = Tc + Tp1, and the torque command Tc2 for the sub-axis is Tc2 = Tc + Tp2. The preload torque is set to a larger torque against friction.
[0012]
In the stop state shown in FIG. 3A, the torque command Tc from the speed control unit is almost 0, and therefore, only the preload torque in the opposite direction indicated by the arrow is commanded to the motors, and the motors stop in a state where they are stuck in the opposite directions. ing. In the acceleration state shown in FIG. 4B, as indicated by a long arrow, a large drive torque in the moving direction from the speed control unit is commanded. Therefore, the sub shaft 115 adds the drive torque and the preload torque. A torque of (Tc + Tp2) is commanded. Here, | Tc |> | Tp2 |, and since the direction of the torque is in the opposite direction, the same torque as the moving direction is generated in the sub-axis, the sub-axis is moved in the opposite direction, and the torque required for acceleration is transmitted to the main shaft 105. to share the load.
[0013]
In the state of the constant speed shown in (c) of the figure, the drive torque required for the table to move at the constant speed is a small torque required to cancel the friction as shown by a short arrow. | Tc | <| Tp2 | and the direction of the torque is in the opposite direction, so that the sub-shaft 115 generates a torque in the direction opposite to the moving direction, moves to the opposite side, and adheres to the main shaft 105 in the opposite direction. To move at a constant speed.
[0014]
In the deceleration state shown in FIG. 4D, a large drive torque is generated in the direction opposite to the direction shown in FIG. 4B, so that the main shaft 105 moves in the opposite direction and shares the torque required for deceleration. Further, in the stop state shown in FIG. 7E, the main shaft 105 and the sub shaft 115 stop in a state where they are stuck to each other by the preload torques in the opposite directions, as in the case of FIG.
[0015]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, the conventional tandem control method using a digital servo has the following problems.
(1) When the motor and the machine are connected by a low-rigidity transmission mechanism such as a spring system, the resonance frequency of the transmission mechanism is a low frequency of, for example, several Hz to several tens Hz. In this case, when the main motor and the sub motor are driven by the tandem control, they vibrate in opposite directions, and there is a problem that the system becomes unstable. FIG. 21 shows a simulation result by the conventional tandem control. FIGS. 21A and 21B show the speed of the main motor and the speed of the sub motor when the positive and negative step commands are applied by solid and broken lines, respectively. ing.
(2) When a large torque is required at the time of acceleration, deceleration, or the like, as shown in FIGS. 20B and 20D, when the drive torque is increased for acceleration or deceleration, With a small preload torque applied in the opposite direction, the main shaft and the sub shaft cannot be kept in a state of being stuck to each other, it will lean toward one of the shafts, and it will not be possible to suppress backlash Occurs.
(3) As a means for solving the problem of the above (2) and suppressing the influence of backlash, a clamp device which outputs torque in the opposite direction so as to always be in a state of being stuck may be added. However, the tandem control method provided with the clamp device has a problem in that the driving becomes unstable when the sub motor is mainly driven. FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating a torque command when a clamp device is added. In FIG. 8A, when the main motor is mainly driven and a drive torque is applied to the main shaft to pull the main shaft, the detection is delayed because the position is detected on the main shaft. On the other hand, in FIG. 8B, when the sub-motor is mainly driven to apply the drive torque to the sub-shaft side and pull, the position for performing the position control is controlled. Since the feedback pulse is detected on the main side and the speed command, which is the input to the speed control unit for calculating the torque command, is not the sub side that actually outputs the torque, a detection delay occurs and becomes unstable.
[0016]
Accordingly, the present invention is to provide a tandem control method using a digital servo that solves the above-mentioned conventional problems and the problems newly generated by means for solving the problems, and suppresses the vibration of the transmission mechanism. A second object of the present invention is to provide a tandem control method that suppresses backlash even for a large torque, and furthermore, a tandem control that enables stable control even in driving mainly on the sub side. A third object is to provide a control method.
[0017]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
A first invention of the present application is a control method for driving one axis by using two servo motors of a main motor and a sub motor, wherein position control is performed by the main motor, and current control is performed by each of the main motor and the sub motor. In the tandem control method performed in the above, a speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor is calculated, a correction torque is obtained using the speed difference, and the corrected torque is added to the torque command of both the main motor and the sub motor, thereby obtaining This achieves the first object.
[0018]
The tandem control method of the present invention is a control method in the case where the same movable member is driven by two servo motors of a main motor and a sub motor. The first invention performs position control by a main motor, and controls current by each main motor. This is a case where a motor and a sub motor are used. In the first aspect, the correction torque for suppressing the vibration of the transmission mechanism can be obtained by multiplying the speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor by a damping coefficient and adjusting the damping coefficient. The gain of the correction torque is adjusted by the adjustment.
[0019]
In the first invention, the correction torque for suppressing the vibration of the transmission mechanism is obtained by multiplying the speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor by a transfer function for phase adjustment, and adjusting a first-order coefficient of the transfer function. The phase of the correction torque is adjusted by adjusting the primary coefficient.
[0020]
Further, in the first invention, the correction torque for suppressing the vibration of the transmission mechanism is obtained by multiplying the speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor by a damping coefficient and a transfer function for phase adjustment, and obtaining a first order of the damping coefficient and the transfer function. Both of the coefficients can be obtained by adjusting the coefficient, and both the gain and the phase of the correction torque are adjusted by adjusting the damping coefficient and the first-order coefficient.
[0021]
Further, a second invention of the present application is a control method for driving one axis by using two servo motors of a main motor and a sub motor, wherein position control is performed by the main motor, and current control is performed by each main motor. And in the tandem control method performed by the sub motor, the sign of the torque command from the speed control unit is detected, and the positive or negative torque command is suppressed according to the sign. The second object is achieved by applying a different one-way torque command by the sub motor.
[0022]
In the suppression of the torque command performed in the second invention, the torque command corresponding to the forward direction of each motor is output as it is, and the torque command corresponding to the reverse direction is clamped to zero.
[0023]
Further, a third invention of the present application is a control method for driving one axis by using two servo motors of a main motor and a sub motor, and a tandem control method in which current control is performed by each of the main motor and the sub motor. The third object is achieved by performing position control on the motor corresponding to the movement command, which is the difference between the position commands.
[0024]
The position control in the third invention is performed by the main motor when the movement command is in the positive direction, and is performed by the sub motor when the movement command is in the negative direction.
[0025]
In the position control according to the third aspect, a value obtained by multiplying a difference between the speed command on the main motor side and the speed command on the sub motor side by a switching coefficient is added to the speed command on the main motor side to obtain a new speed command. The position of the motor corresponding to the movement command is controlled by switching the switching coefficient according to the sign of the movement command. Further, the switching coefficient of the position control in the third invention has a time constant, and the position feedback can be gradually switched by the time constant.
[0026]
[Action]
According to the first invention of the present application, the position control is performed by the main motor, the current control is performed by each of the main motor and the sub motor, the speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor is calculated, and the speed difference is corrected using the speed difference. The torque is obtained, and the corrected torque is added to the torque command of both the main motor and the sub motor, and one servo motor is driven by tandem control of the two servo motors of the main motor and the sub motor. As a result, the speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor for performing the tandem control is reduced, and even when the motor and the machine are connected by a transmission mechanism having low rigidity such as a spring system, vibration of the system can be suppressed.
[0027]
The correction torque for suppressing the vibration of the transmission mechanism is obtained by multiplying the speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor by a damping coefficient, a transfer function for phase adjustment, or both a damping coefficient and a transfer function for phase adjustment. When the damping coefficient, the first-order coefficient of the transfer function, or both the damping coefficient and the first-order coefficient of the transfer function are adjusted so that the output characteristic becomes a desired characteristic, the gain of the torque command is appropriately adjusted by this adjustment. , Or phase, or both gain and phase.
[0028]
According to the second invention of the present application, the position control is performed by the main motor, the current control is performed by each of the main motor and the sub motor, and the sign of the torque command from the speed control unit is detected. Positive or negative torque commands are suppressed, and two servo motors of the main motor and the sub motor are tandem-controlled by always applying different one-way torque commands for the main motor and the sub motor to the current control units of the respective motors. To drive one axis. This makes it possible to keep the main motor and the sub motor in a state of being always attached to each other, and to suppress backlash even with a large torque.
[0029]
The torque command is suppressed by outputting the torque command corresponding to the forward direction of each motor as it is in response to the torque command from the speed control unit, and clamping the torque command corresponding to the reverse direction to zero. be able to.
[0030]
According to the third invention of the present application, the current control is performed by each of the main motor and the sub motor, and the position control is performed by the motor corresponding to the movement command, so that the two servo motors of the main motor and the sub motor can be controlled. One axis is driven by tandem control. As a result, stable control can be performed even in driving mainly on the sub side.
[0031]
The position control is performed by the main motor when the movement command is in the positive direction, and is performed by the sub motor when the movement command is in the negative direction. The speed control of the main motor and the speed command of the sub motor are performed. The value obtained by multiplying the difference by the switching coefficient is added to the speed command on the main motor side to obtain a new speed command, and the switching coefficient is switched according to the sign of the movement command, so that the speed on the sub side that actually outputs torque is obtained. The torque command can be calculated based on the output, and the influence on the stability due to the detection delay can be suppressed. Further, by giving a time constant to the switching coefficient of the position control and gradually switching the position feedback based on the time constant, it is possible to reduce a mechanical shock caused by a step in the speed command at the time of the switching.
[0032]
When the movement command is 0, by setting so that the position control is performed by the main motor, the positioning is always performed by the main motor, and the problem of the displacement does not occur.

【Example】
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
(Configuration applicable to the implementation of the first invention)
First, a configuration to which the embodiment of the first invention of the present application can be applied will be described. FIG. 1 is a block diagram of a main part of a control block for explaining a configuration of an embodiment of the first invention of the present application. The block diagram of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 is almost the same as the conventional control block shown in FIG. 17 except for the configuration of the damping compensator 23. The damping compensator 23 is a block for calculating a speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor, obtaining a correction torque using the speed difference, and further applying the correction torque to the torque commands of both the main motor and the sub motor. .
[0034]
In the main part block diagram of FIG. 1,
[0035]
The speed command Vc is obtained by multiplying the position error e, which is the difference between the position command r and the actual position p, by the coefficient Kp of the position gain 14, and calculates the speed deviation, which is the difference between the speed command Vc and the speed feedback of the motor, by the speed control unit. A control such as a normal PI control is performed by 16 to obtain a torque command Tc.
[0036]
Of the two motors, the control of the main motor is performed by inputting a torque command Tc1 obtained by adding the preload torque Tp1 to the torque command Tc to the

The
[0040]
Further, in the embodiment of the first invention, the position control is performed by the main motor, the current control is performed by each of the main motor and the sub motor, and the speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor is reduced by the correction torque from the damping compensator 23. Speed control is performed. The damping compensator 23 can be composed of a term of a damping coefficient Kc and a term of a transfer function for phase adjustment. The transfer function is, for example, a constant L, an adjustment coefficient α, and S a Laplace operator. Then, what is represented by {(1 + LS) / (1 + αLS)} can be used.
[0041]
FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing a transfer function for phase adjustment in a discrete system when the sampling time is Ts, and the transfer function is {(1 + 2L / Ts) + (1-2L / Ts) Z. -1 / (1 + 2αL / Ts) + (1-2αL / Ts) Z -1 It is represented by}. Here, N 0 = (1 + 2L / Ts), N 1 = (1-2L / Ts), D 0 = (1 + 2αL / Ts), D 1 = (1-2αL / Ts), the transfer function is {(N 0 + N 1 ・ Z -1 ) / (D 0 + D 1 ・ Z -1 )}. Therefore, in the torque correction, the gain can be adjusted by the magnitude of the damping coefficient Kc, and the phase can be adjusted by the adjustment coefficient α. Note that T is a coefficient for adjusting the phase advance or the peak of the phase delay.
[0042]
The correction torque from the damping compensator 23 is subtracted from the torque command Tc1 to the main motor, and added to the torque command Tc2 to the sub motor. This sign relationship is because the direction on the main motor side is set to the positive direction, whereby the correction torque can be applied in a direction to reduce the speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor.
[0043]
Although the damping compensator 23 shows an example including two terms of the term of the damping coefficient Kc and the term of the transfer function for phase adjustment, the damping compensator 23 may be configured with only one of the terms. In this case, either the magnitude or the phase of the correction torque is corrected.
[0044]
(Operation of the First Invention)
The operation of the first invention of the present invention will be described with reference to the flowcharts of FIGS. Here, a speed difference between the main motor and the sub motor is calculated, a correction torque is obtained by using the speed difference, and the corrected torque is added to the torque commands of both the main motor and the sub motor, and the main motor and the sub motor Only the portion that performs tandem control of the two servomotors will be described, and a case where both the magnitude and the phase of the damping are corrected will be described.
[0045]
First, in the tandem control of the main motor and the sub motor, the rotational direction used for control of each motor is checked. If the rotational directions are the same, the flag F is set to “0”. Are different, the flag F is set to "1" (step S1). The sign of the
[0046]
Next, the speeds of the main motor and the sub motor are detected to determine the motor speed feedback amounts Vf1 and Vf2, and the values are taken in (step S4). It is determined whether the value of the flag F checked in step S1 is "0" or "1". If the value of the flag F is "0", the process proceeds to step S6, and if the value of the flag F is "1", the process proceeds to step S7 to obtain the difference between the motor speed feedback amounts Vf1 and Vf2 (step S5). .
[0047]
When the value of the flag F is “0”, the rotation direction of the main motor and the sub motor is in the same direction, so the difference between the motor speed feedback amounts Vf1 and Vf2 is obtained by the calculation of (Vf1−Vf2) (step S6). ). On the other hand, when the value of the flag F is “1”, since the rotation directions of the main motor and the sub motor are in opposite directions, the
[0048]
The correction torque Ta is obtained from the difference dV between the obtained motor speed feedback amounts Vf1 and Vf2 (step S8). The correction torque Ta is obtained by adding the damping coefficient Kc and the transfer function {(N 0 + N 1 ・ Z -1 ) / (D 0 + D 1 ・ Z -1 ) Can be obtained by multiplying by}. In FIG. 1, since the speed feedback amount Vf2 of the sub motor is in the same direction as the speed of the main motor by the
[0049]
The corrected torque Ta obtained in step S8 is reflected on the torque commands Tc1 and Tc2, and the speed is controlled based on the corrected torque command (step S9). Then, it is determined whether or not the characteristics of the system have been improved by the speed control (step S10). If the characteristics are poor, the damping coefficient Kc and the adjustment coefficient α are changed (step S11). Steps S4 to S10 are performed again.
[0050]
{(1 + 2L / Ts) + (1-2L / Ts) Z -1 / (1 + 2αL / Ts) + (1-2αL / Ts) Z -1 As is apparent from the transfer function of}, when the adjustment coefficient α is 1, the value of the transfer function is 1, and the phase does not change. FIG. 4 shows frequency characteristics when the adjustment coefficient α is changed with a constant L = 0.02, (a) when α = 1, (b) when α = 0.5, ( c) is the case where α = 0.2. As shown in the drawing, the necessary phase can be adjusted at a desired frequency by the adjustment coefficient α.
[0051]
By repeating this step, a system in which vibration is suppressed can be obtained. Further, in the processing of the damping compensator, the processing of step S1 can be commonly used for the same tandem control thereafter with a single setting. Further, the processing of steps S2 to S11 is performed every time an interrupt occurs in the tandem control.
[0052]
FIG. 5 is a simulation result of the first invention of the present application when the damping coefficient Kc is set to 0.1 without performing the phase adjustment.
[0053]
(Configuration and Function Applicable to the Implementation of the Second Invention)
Next, a configuration and an operation to which the embodiment of the second invention of the present application can be applied will be described. FIG. 6 is a block diagram of a main part of a control block for explaining a configuration of an embodiment of the second invention of the present application. In the block diagram of the embodiment shown in FIG. 6, the components of the second invention of the present application are shown by dashed lines, and the components of the third invention of the present application are shown by dashed lines. . In the following, only the components of the second invention surrounded by the alternate long and short dash line will be described, and the other components will not be described because they are the same as those of the embodiment of the first invention.

In FIG. 8A, when the main motor is mainly driven and drive torque is applied to the main shaft side to pull, the position detection is performed on the main side. The control can be performed without causing a detection delay as shown in ()).
[0060]
On the other hand, in FIG. 8B, when the sub-motor is mainly driven to apply the drive torque to the sub-axis side and pull, the position feedback pulse for performing the position control is detected on the main side, Since the speed command which is an input to the speed control unit for calculating the torque command is not the sub side that actually outputs the torque, a detection delay may occur and the instability of FIG. 9B may be indicated.
[0061]
(Configuration and Function Applicable to the Implementation of the Third Invention)
Next, a configuration and an operation to which the embodiment of the third invention of the present application can be applied will be described. A third aspect of the present invention is to eliminate a detection delay that may occur when the sub motor is mainly driven in the second aspect of the invention.
[0062]
FIG. 6 is a block diagram of a main part of a control block for explaining the configuration of an embodiment of the third invention of the present application, in which the components of the third invention are surrounded by a two-dot chain line. In the following, only the configuration excluding the components of the third invention surrounded by the two-dot chain line will be described, and the other components are the same as the configuration of the embodiment of the first invention, and the description will be omitted.
[0063]
The configuration of the third embodiment of the present invention is substantially the same as the control block of the second embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 6 except for a configuration for switching the position feedback surrounded by a two-dot chain line. The configuration for this position feedback switching is such that a difference between the speed command on the main motor side and the speed command on the sub motor side is obtained, and a value obtained by multiplying the difference between the speed commands by a switching coefficient is added to the speed command on the main motor side. A new speed command is obtained.
[0064]
In FIG. 6, in the embodiment of the third invention, the position control is performed by the main motor, the current control is performed by each of the main motor and the sub motor, and when the movement command is in the forward direction, the main motor performs the position control. When the motor is in the negative direction, the position is controlled by the motor on the side corresponding to the movement command, so that two servo motors, the main motor and the sub motor, are driven in tandem to drive one axis. .
[0065]
In the position feedback switching according to the third invention, the difference between the main-side speed command Vc1 and the sub-side speed command Vc2 is obtained, the difference is multiplied by a switching coefficient k, and the value is further added to the main-side speed command Vc1. This is performed by creating a new speed command Vc. In the configuration shown in FIG. 6, a value obtained by passing the output of the position gain 15 through the
[0066]
The speed command Vc obtained by the above configuration is represented by Vc = Vc1 + k · (Vc2−Vc1).
[0067]
Here, when the main motor is driven in the positive direction (the movement command is in the positive direction), if the switching coefficient k is set to “0”, the speed command Vc becomes the speed command Vc1 from the above equation and becomes Position control can be performed. Conversely, when the switching coefficient k is set to “1” when the main motor is driven in the negative direction (the movement command is in the negative direction), the speed command Vc becomes As Vc2, the position control on the sub side can be performed.
[0068]
In the above example, the switching coefficient k is set to either “0” or “1” to switch the position feedback between the main side and the sub side, and the switching coefficient k is determined by using the time constant τ. k may be set to {1 / (1 + τs)}, and the position feedback may be gradually switched according to the time constant τ.
[0069]
When the switching of the position feedback is performed gradually by this time constant τ, the difference in the speed command caused by the difference in the position feedback amount when the switching coefficient k is switched is reduced, and the mechanical shock generated by the speed difference is reduced. There is an effect that can be reduced.
[0070]
The operation of the third invention will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG. Here, only the switching part of the position feedback will be described in accordance with the sign of step T by a flow in the case of performing digital discrete processing.
[0071]
In the position feedback switching, assuming that the sampling time is Ts, the sequential switching coefficient in a discrete system is b (n), and the change due to the time constant τ is A = exp (−Ts / τ), the sequential switching coefficient b (n) is ,
b (n) = A · b (n−1) + (1−A) · k (n)
It becomes. Note that k (n) is “0” when the movement command is positive, and is “1” when the movement command is negative. By using the sequential switching coefficient b (n), the position feedback can be gradually switched according to the time constant τ.
[0072]
First, an initial process for performing position control by position switching is performed. In this initial processing, the change A due to the time constant τ used in the above equation and the sequential switching coefficients b (n) and b0 are initialized (step T1). After this processing, by determining the sign of the movement command Δr, which is the difference between the position commands r, it is determined whether to perform the position feedback on the main side or the position feedback on the sub side (step T2). In the determination at step T2, if the sign of the movement command Δr is positive, processing is performed in step T3 when the main motor is driven at a positive speed. If the sign of the movement command Δr is negative, processing at step T4 Performs the processing when the main motor is driven at a negative speed.
[0073]
In step T3, b (n) = A · b0 by setting k (n) in the above equation to “0”. In step T4, b (n) = A · b0 + 1−A by setting k (n) in the above equation to “1”.
[0074]
Next, the speed commands Vc1 and Vc2 are obtained, and the speed command Vc is obtained by using these values and the sequential switching coefficient b (n) determined in steps T3 and T4. The speed command Vc1 is obtained by multiplying the value (r-Mfb) obtained by subtracting the position feedback pulse Mfb of the main motor from the position command r by the position gain Kp. The speed command Vc2 is obtained by multiplying a value (r-Sfb) obtained by subtracting the position feedback pulse Sfb of the sub motor from the position command r by the position gain Kp. The speed command Vc is obtained by sequentially multiplying a value obtained by subtracting the speed command Vc1 from the speed command Vc2 by a switching coefficient b (n), and adding the speed command Vc1 to the value.
[0075]
The value of the sequential switching coefficient b (n) at this time is set as the initial value b0 of the sequential switching coefficient (step T5).
[0076]
The speed command Vc obtained in the step T5 is passed to a speed loop to perform position control (step T6).
[0077]
It is determined whether or not to end the position control by the position switching (step T7). If the position control by the position switching is continued, the process returns to step T2 and repeats the steps T2 to T6.
[0078]
By using this time constant, switching can be performed gradually and the shock to the machine can be reduced even when the polarity of the movement command changes.
[0079]
FIG. 11 is a simulation result when the time constant is set to “0” in the position switching, FIG. 12 is a simulation result when the time constant is set to “100 ms” in the position switching, and FIG. 7 shows a simulation result when the time constant is set to “100 ms” and damping compensation is performed.
