【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は撮像装置と該撮像装置におけるレンズ位置の制御方法に関し、より詳しくは、撮像時における装置本体の振れを補正する振れ補正機能を備えた撮像装置と、該撮像装置に搭載された可動レンズのレンズ位置の制御方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、カメラやビデオカメラ等の撮像装置においては、露出設定や焦点調節等の全ての機能面で自動化が図られ、また多機能化してきており、良好な撮影が容易に行なえるようになってきている。

また、最近のこの種撮像装置においては、像点位置を変えることなく焦点距離を連続的に変えることのできるズームレンズが搭載されているのが今日では一般的となっており、近年では10倍以上の高ズーム倍率を有する撮像装置も市場に広く出廻っているが、ズーム倍率の大きなテレ側寄りで被写体を撮像する場合に被写体像の顕著な振れが生じるという欠点がある。

そこで、このような欠点を解消する方策として、従来より、振れ補正手段を有する撮像光学系を搭載した撮像装置が開発され、既に製品化されている。

図12は前記撮像光学系を模式的に示した概念図であって、該撮像光学系100は、不図示のレンズ鏡筒に固着された固定レンズ101と、矢印aに示すように光軸C上を水平方向に移動するズームレンズ102と、光軸Cに対して垂直な平面内(矢印bで示す方向)を二次元的に移動するシフトレンズ103と、焦点調節機能及び前記ズームレンズ102の可動による焦点面の移動を補正するフォーカスレンズ104と、被写体像が結像される撮像素子105とが、この順序で配設され、さらに、シフトレンズ103の近傍所定位置には該シフトレンズ103を駆動させるアクチュエータ106とシフトレンズ103の位置を検出する位置検出センサ107が配設されている。

該撮像光学系100においては、図13(a)に示すように、手振れ等により光軸Cが撮像光学系の中心軸C′から偏位してズレ角θが生じた場合であっても、アクチュエータ106を駆動させて図13(b)の仮想線に示すようにシフトレンズ103を移動させることにより、シフトレンズ103の下流側では光軸Cと撮像光学系の中心軸C′とを幾何学的に一致させることが可能となり、したがって上述したズレ角θが光学的処理によって補正されることとなり、被写体像は振れのない光束として撮像素子105に結像されることとなる。

図14は、前記撮像光学系100を介して振れの補正を行なう従来の撮像装置のブロック回路図である。

前記撮像装置においては、不図示の電源スイッチが投入されるとモードマイコンが電源スイッチの投入をメインマイコンに通知し、メインマイコンは電源がオンされたと判断して制御を開始する。

そして、装置本体の振れを検出した振れ信号生成回路108は、振れ信号を生成して振れ補正回路109に入力する。該振れ補正回路109ではA/D変換器110でアナログ振れ信号をデジタル振れ信号に変換した後、ハイパスフィルタ(HPF)111で所定の低域周波数成分を除去し、次いで、位相/利得補正回路112でHPF111からの出力信号に対し位相及び利得を補正し、位相/利得補正回路112からの出力信号を積分回路113で積分して補正目標値を算出し出力する。

振れ補正回路109から出力された補正目標値はD/A変換器114でアナログ信号に変換された後、加算器115に入力され、増幅器116を介して供給される位置検出センサ107からのフィードバック信号と加算される。次いで、加算器115からの出力信号が駆動回路117に供給され、該駆動回路117はアクチュエータ106に駆動信号を発してシフトレンズ103を駆動させている。

このようにアクチュエータ106によりシフトレンズ103を駆動させることにより、上述したように、ズレ角θが光学的に補正されることとなり、被写体像は振れのない光束として撮像素子105に結像されることとなる。

また、上記撮像装置においては、シフトレンズ103を駆動させるアクチュエータ106がボイスコイルモータで構成されている。

すなわち、シフトレンズ103の近傍所定位置にボイスコイルモータを配設し、該ボイスコイルモータに電流を流して電磁力を発生させることによりシフトレンズ103を浮遊させると共に、加算器115からの出力に応じて電磁力を可変とすることにより、シフトレンズ103は光軸Cに対して垂直な平面内を縦方向(ピッチ方向)及び横方向(ヨー方向)に二次元的に移動する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来の撮像装置においては、上述したように、アクチュエータ106がボイスコイルモータで構成されているため、電源スイッチ108が投入されて通電状態にあるときは前記ボイスコイルモータによりシフトレンズ103は浮遊して保持されるが、電源がオフされたときはボイスコイルモータによるシフトレンズ103の保持力が解除されて自重で落下し、その結果、シフトレンズ103を保持しているレンズ保持枠がレンズ鏡筒の内壁に衝突して耳障りな衝突音が発生すし、品位に欠けるという問題点があった。

本発明はこのような問題点に鑑みなされたものであって、電源をオフした場合でも衝突音が生じるのを極力回避することができる撮像装置と該撮像装置におけるレンズ位置の制御方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために本発明に係る撮像装置は、装置本体の振れを検出し、光軸に対して垂直な平面内を縦方向及び横方向に移動する撮像レンズ群に含まれる可動レンズを前記装置本体の振れに応じて電磁的に浮遊させて駆動する撮像装置において、前記検出された振れに応じて前記可動レンズの駆動量を制御する駆動量制御手段と、前記装置本体が停止要求を発した場合には、前記撮像レンズ群を配したレンズ鏡筒の前記縦方向下方に位置する内壁に前記可動レンズを徐々に近付けるレンズ移動制御手段とを有することを特徴としている。

本発明に係る撮像装置におけるレンズ位置の制御方法は、装置本体の振れを検出し、光軸に対して垂直な平面内を縦方向及び横方向に移動する撮像レンズ群に含まれる可動レンズを前記装置本体の振れに応じて電磁的に浮遊させて駆動する撮像装置におけるレンズ位置の制御方法において、前記検出された振れに応じて前記可動レンズの駆動量を制御すると共に、前記装置本体が停止要求を発した場合には、前記撮像レンズ群を配したレンズ鏡筒の前記縦方向下方に位置する内壁に前記可動レンズを徐々に近付けることを特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面に基づいて詳説する。

図1は本発明に係る撮像装置に搭載される撮像光学系の一実施の形態を示す概略構成図であって、該撮像光学系1は、鏡筒2に固着されて被写体像からの光信号が入光する固定レンズ3と、光軸4上を水平方向に移動して被写体像を変倍するズームレンズ5と、入射光量を調整する絞り6と、光軸4に対して垂直な平面内を縦方向(以下、「ピッチ方向」ともいう)及び横方向(以下、「ヨー方向」ともいう)に二次元的に移動して光軸を偏心させるシフトレンズ7と、焦点調節及びズームレンズ5の移動により生ずる焦点ずれを補正するフォーカスレンズ8と、被写体像を合焦して結像すると共に光信号を電気信号に変換するCCD等の撮像素子9とを備えている。

また、前記撮像光学系1には、シフトレンズ7をピッチ方向及びヨー方向に駆動させるアクチュエータとしてのボイスコイルモータ10p、10yと、シフトレンズ7のピッチ方向及びヨー方向の位置を検出する位置検出センサとしてのホール素子11p、11yとを有している。

具体的には、シフトレンズ7、ボイスコイルモータ10p、10y及びホール素子11p、11yを含む防振ユニット12が、絞り6とフォーカスレンズ8との間に配設され、該防振ユニット12により手振れ等に起因する振れを防止している。

また、該レンズ保持枠13の外周部分には光軸4を中心として120°間隔で3つの孔15a、15b、15cが形成されている。そして、略円柱状のガイドピン16a、16b、16cが前記孔15a、15b、15cに圧入又は接着等され、ガイドピン16a、16b、16cはレンズ保持枠13に一体的に保持されている。

前記ガイドピン16a、16b、16cは中間鏡筒23の前記ガイド部に形成された孔と係合され、さらに、レンズ保持枠13のガイド板18との対向面側に突設されたピン22a、22bが前記ガイド板18の孔19a、19bに係合されると共に、中間鏡筒23のガイド板18の対向面側に突設されたピン(不図示)が前記ガイド板18の孔20a、20bに係合される。そして、これにより、中間鏡筒23に対してレンズ保持枠13が光軸4に対する回転方向(ロール方向)に位置決めされ、ピッチ方向とヨー方向のみに回動可能にガイドされることとなる。

また、バックヨーク24p、24yが固着される2個のマグネット25p、25yは、互いに直交状となるように中間鏡筒23の凹所26p、26yに収容され、該中間鏡筒23に固着される。さらに、上ヨーク27はマグネット25p、25yと一定間隔を有して中間鏡筒23に固定され、これらバックヨーク24p、24y、マグネット25p、25y及び上ヨーク27により磁気回路を形成する。そして、コイル28p、28yは、マグネット25p、25yと対向状に該マグネット25p、25yと一定間隔を有してレンズ保持枠13に固着される。そして、バックヨーク24p、24y、マグネット25p、25y、上ヨーク27及びコイル28p、28yとでボイスコイルモータ10p、10y(図1参照)が構成され、互いに直交する方向に配設されコイル28p、28yに電流を流して電磁力を発生させることにより、シフトレンズ7を光軸4に対し垂直な平面内をピッチ方向及びヨー方向に二次元的に移動させるための浮遊力が生じる。すなわち、コイル28p、28yに電流を流すことにより電磁力が発生し、その合成力がレンズ保持枠13に作用し、シフトレンズ7はピッチ方向及びヨー方向に駆動して保持される。

また、29はセンサホルダであって、ホール素子11p、11yが装着されると共に、該センサホルダ29は中間鏡筒23に固定される。さらに、レンズ保持枠13にはヨーク17ap、17ayが貼着されたマグネット17p、17yが固定されている。すなわち、マグネット17p、17yはレンズ保持枠13の駆動方向に磁気勾配を有するように着磁されており、前記ホール素子11p、11yは前記マグネット17p、17yと一定間隔を有して配設され、ホール素子11p、11yはマグネット17p、17yの移動に伴う磁束の変化に基づきシフトレンズ7(レンズ保持枠13)の位置を検出する。

図3は本発明に係る撮像装置の制御系を示すブロック構成図であって、該撮像装置は、上記撮像光学系1と、装置本体の振れを検出して振れ信号を生成する振れ信号生成回路30と、振れ信号生成回路30からの出力結果等に基づいてシフトレンズ7の駆動量を制御する駆動量制御部31と、装置本体の操作状態を監視するモードマイコン32と、装置本体への電源投入を行なう電源スイッチ33と、駆動量制御部31からのデジタル出力信号をアナログ出力信号に変換するD/A変換器34p、34yと、ホール素子11p、11yからの出力信号を増幅する増幅器35p、35yと、該増幅器35p、35yからのフィードバック信号と前記D/A変換器34p、34yからの出力信号とを加算する加算器36p、36yと、該加算器36p、36yからの出力信号に基づいてボイスコイルモータ10p、10yを駆動させる駆動回路37p、37yとを備えている。

また、前記振れ信号生成回路30は、具体的には、撮像光学系1の適所に配設されて装置本体の振れ角度を検出する角速度センサ38p、38yと、角速度センサ38p、38yから出力される検出信号から直流成分を除去するハイパスフィルタ(HPF)39p、39yと、該HPF39p、39yからの出力信号を増幅する増幅器40p、40y、該増幅器40p、40yからの出力信号の中から所定の高域周波数成分を除去して振れ信号を生成するローパスフィルタ(LPF)41p、41yとを有している。

また、駆動量制御部31は、図4に示すように、振れ信号生成回路30から出力されるアナログ振れ信号をデジタル振れ信号に変換するA/D変換器42p、42yと、該A/D変換器42p、42yからの出力信号の内、所定の低域周波数成分を除去するHPF43p、43yと、該HPF43p、43yからの出力信号に対して位相や利得を補正する位相・利得補正回路44p、44yと、位相・利得補正回路44p、44yからの出力信号を積分して画像の振れ補正を行なうための補正目標値を生成する積分回路45p、45yと、振れ信号生成回路30からの振れ信号とは無関係な所望のレンズ移動目標値(所定値A)を出力する所定値出力回路46と、積分回路45p、45y及び所定値出力回路46からの夫々の出力信号を切換える切換スイッチ47とを有している。そして、切換スイッチ47のa接点は積分回路45p、45yに接続され、切換スイッチ47のb接点は所定値出力回路46に接続され、切換スイッチ47のc接点はモードマイコン32に接続されている。そして、電源スイッチ33の状態を監視しているモードマイコン32からの信号に応じて切換スイッチ47のc接点がa接点又はb接点に接続され、切換スイッチ47からは積分回路45p、45yからの補正目標値又は所定値信号出力回路46からの所定値Aが出力される。

このように構成された撮像装置においては、電源スイッチ33が投入されると、モードマイコン32は電源スイッチ33が投入されたことを検知し、制御を開始する。

そして、角速度センサ38p、38yが装置本体の振れを検出するとHPF39p、39y、増幅器40p、40y、LPF41p、41yで所定の処理を施して振れ信号を生成し、該振れ信号は駆動量制御部31に供給される。駆動量制御部31では、A/D変換器42p、42y、HPF43p、43y、位相・利得補正回路44p、44y、積分回路45p、45yを経て補正目標値が算出され、該算出された補正目標値が切換スイッチ47を介してD/A変換器34p、34yに出力される。

一方、電源スイッチ33がオン状態からオフ状態に切り換わると、その切換状態がモードマイコン32に通知され、駆動量制御部31の切換スイッチ47は積分回路45側から所定値出力回路46側へと切換えられる。そして、これにより駆動量制御部31からは目標補正値ではなく所定値Aが出力され、所定値Aに応じてシフトレンズ7が駆動することとなる。

図5は本発明に係るレンズ位置の制御方法のフローチャートであって、本プログラムは駆動量制御部31で実行される。

ステップS1ではシステムを初期化する。尚、該初期化処理により後述する第1及び第2のフラグF1、F2は「0」にクリアされる。

続くステップS10では横方向(ヨー方向)の目標出力値がシフトレンズ7の中心位置となるように設定し、続くステップS11で縦方向(ピッチ方向)の目標出力値を所定値Aに設定する。所定値Aはシフトレンズ7を保持しているレンズ保持枠13の外周部と鏡筒2内壁とが当接しない値に設定される。次いで、ステップS12では第1のフラグF1を「1」に設定してステップS2に戻る。

このようにして第1のフラグF1が「1」に設定されると、次回以降のループではステップS3及びステップS9の答は肯定(Yes)となり、ステップS13に進んで所定値Aから微小量ΔAを減算した値を所定値Aに設定し直し、続くステップS14では前記所定値Aが最低値LMTAに到達したか否かを判断する。そして、その答が否定(No)の場合はステップS18に進み、縦方向の目標出力値を所定値Aに設定する。

一方、所定値Aが最低値LMTAに到達するとレンズ保持枠13が鏡筒2に当接する移動量に相当する値に達したと判断し、ステップS15で所定値Aを最低値LMTAに設定した後、ステップS16で第2のフラグF2を「1」に設定し、続くステップS17で電源オフを許可する電源オフフラグFOFFを「1」に設定した後、縦方向の目標出力値を所定値A(=LMTA)に設定し(ステップS18)、ステップS2に戻る。そしてこれにより、撮像光学系1は駆動を停止する。

また、ステップS7で電源オフ要求がないと判断した場合は、ステップS19に進み、第1のフラグF1が「1」に設定されているか否かを判断する。そして、その答が否定(No)の場合はステップS2に戻る一方、ステップS19の答が肯定(Yes)のときは第1及び第2のフラグF1、F2、及び電源オフフラグFOFFを「0」にクリアし(ステップS20)、防振制御を再開する(ステップS21)。すなわち、切換スイッチ47を所定値出力回路46側から積分回路45p、45y側に切換え、駆動量制御部31からは目標補正値を出力して撮像時のシフトレンズ7の駆動量制御を実行する。

図6は電源オフ要求があった後のレンズ保持枠13の駆動状態を示す図であって、電源オフ要求があった場合は、レンズ保持枠13の位置は、実線に示す位置から一点鎖線に示す位置まで移動し(所定値Aに対応する移動量)、その後、微小量ΔA宛鏡筒2側に移動し(ΔA×n)、最終的には二点鎖線に示すように、レンズ保持枠13が鏡筒2に当接し、その後電源はオフされる。

このように本実施の形態ではモードマイコン32が電源スイッチ33のオフ状態を検知した場合は、駆動量制御部31は電源オフ要求があったと判断し、レンズ保持枠13を横方向(ヨー方向)についてシフトレンズ7の中心位置に瞬時に移動させた後、該移動したレンズ保持枠13を鏡筒2のピッチ方向下方に内壁近傍に徐々に移動させてレンズ保持枠13が鏡筒2の内壁に当接するようにしているので、防振制御により浮遊状態にあったシフトレンズ7が電源オフされても該シフトレンズ7が自重で落下してシフトレンズ7を保持しているレンズ保持枠13と鏡筒2の内壁との間で耳障りな衝突音が発生するのを回避することができる。

図7は本発明の第2の実施の形態を示すブロック構成図であって、駆動量制御部51には防振オフスイッチ52が設けられると共に、増幅器35と駆動量制御部51との間に電子ボリューム(EVR)53が介装されている。

具体的には、図8に示すように、増幅器35とホール素子10の負側出力端子が増幅器35の負側出力端子に接続される一方、増幅器の正側出力端子にはホール素子10の正側出力端子からの出力信号、及び基準電源VREF及びEVR53からの出力信号が供給される。

第1の実施の形態(図5)と同様、ステップS1〜ステップS9の各処理を実行し、ステップS9の答が否定(No)のときは、ステップS7で電源オフ要求が発せられているためステップS31で防振オフスイッチ52を強制的にオフする。これにより横方向(ヨー方向)の目標出力値はシフトレンズ7の中心位置となるように設定される。次いでステップS32では縦方向(ピッチ方向)のEVRイニシャルデータIを駆動量制御部51のメモリに格納する。すなわち、上述したように、EVR53はホール素子10の出力信号をオフセット調整するものであり、初期設定時に前記オフセット調整後のデータ、すなわちイニシャルデータIが駆動量制御部51からEVR53に送信されるが、該イニシャルデータIを駆動量制御部51のメモリに格納しておくのである。
