Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a stencil printing apparatus capable of performing double-sided printing.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a digital thermosensitive stencil printing method has been known as a simple printing method. In the stencil printing method, a thermal head in which fine heating elements are arranged in a line is brought into contact with a heat-sensitive stencil master, and the master is conveyed while energizing the heating elements in a pulsed manner. The plate is made by melting and perforating the plate by heating, and the plate-making master is wound around the outer peripheral surface of a porous cylindrical plate cylinder, and then the ink is permeated and permeated through the perforated portion to transfer to printing paper. Is what you do.
[0003]
By the way, in recent prints, double-sided printing tends to increase for reasons such as saving paper and avoiding an increase in file storage space. In fact, many users who use stencil printing machines on the market perform duplex printing.
[0004]
When performing double-sided printing using the current stencil printing machine, first perform the required number of copies on one side, then re-align the printing paper that has been printed on one side neatly and turn it over to the feed tray of the stencil printing machine. A method of setting and printing the back side of the set printing paper is adopted.
[0005]
However, in such a double-sided printing method, the user must cleanly re-align the single-sided printed paper discharged on the paper discharge tray, turn it over, and set it on the paper feed tray. Is complicated. In addition, there is also an inconvenience that the hands may be stained with ink that has not been dried when aligning the printing paper that has been printed on one side.
[0006]
Therefore, a stencil printing method has been proposed that can automatically print on both sides of printing paper without bothering the user. One is to use two plate cylinders, each of which is provided with a pre-printed master, as shown in JP-A-6-71996 and JP-A-6-135111, and print between these plate cylinders. This is a method of simultaneously printing on the front and back of a print sheet by passing the sheet. The other is, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-81202, using one plate cylinder, temporarily loading and discharging single-sided printing paper on a paper tray, and moving the paper tray to a tray moving means. In this method, the sheet is moved to a refeed section for the printing section of the plate cylinder, and the printing paper on the sheet tray is fed again from this position to perform backside printing and discharge the sheet to the discharge tray.
[0007]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the former double-sided printing method using two plate cylinders, the printing speed is high, but two plate cylinders are required, and two plate making units are required. .
[0008]
In the latter two-sided printing method using a paper tray moving method, it is possible to realize automatic two-sided printing without using two plate cylinders. However, each time the front side printing is switched to the back side printing, the paper tray is moved from the discharge position to the re-feed position. The moving mechanism must be large, and the moving mechanism is large, which tends to increase the cost.
[0009]
By the way, in a plain paper copying machine, a double-sided copying machine has already been put to practical use and is currently on the market. Such a two-sided copying apparatus is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open Nos. 64-36767 and 64-8162. It is also conceivable to divert such double-sided copying apparatus technology to a stencil printing apparatus to automate double-sided printing. However, in the case of a two-sided copying apparatus, a toner image is formed on the photoreceptor each time the front side copying or the back side copying is performed. However, in the case of a stencil printing machine, printing is performed using a master made by stencil. Therefore, a method of completing double-sided printing one by one (a method of making and re-feeding a master each time) is economically time-consuming. It is also difficult to adopt it.
[0010]
Therefore, the present invention can perform double-sided printing at low cost without requiring a large-scale moving mechanism and the like, while taking into account the specialty of stencil printing in which the double-sided copying method using the double-sided copying apparatus cannot be diverted as it is, and It is an object of the present invention to provide a stencil printing apparatus capable of performing double-sided printing one by one.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The stencil printing machine according to
[0012]
Therefore, the printing paper which has been printed on one side by using the front side printing image or the back side printing image of the plate-making master is conveyed to the re-feeding means by the double-sided conveying means by switching by the conveying path switching means, and the other side. The sheet is re-fed for printing, and double-sided printing is automatically performed. At this time, since the master wound on the plate cylinder has both the image for front side printing and the image for back side printing at the same time, only by selectively switching the image to be printed by the printing means, it is possible to print one sheet at a time. And a printing method that completes the required number of prints as a whole. In addition, although displacing means such as paper feed switching means and transport path switching means are included, these need only be switched and do not need to be moved largely, so that the duplex printing can be automated without the apparatus becoming large-scale.
[0013]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the stencil printing apparatus according to the first aspect, the two-sided conveying means is configured as a suction-type two-sided conveying means, and adsorbs an unprinted surface of a single-side printed printing paper. Since the printing paper is transported, no ink stain occurs during the transport even if the ink on the printed surface is not dried.
[0014]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the stencil printing apparatus according to the second aspect, the suction-type double-sided conveying means has a plurality of conveying sections which are divided longer than the printing paper and independently driven and controlled. . Therefore, it is possible to keep several sheets of single-side printed printing paper on standby in the suction-type double-sided conveyance means, and it is possible to immediately repeat “front side printing → back side printing”, thereby improving the speed of double side printing. I do. At this time, the printing papers that have been printed on one side are sequentially sent to the next transport unit without overlapping, so that the printing papers are not stained with the ink that has not been dried.
[0015]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the stencil printing apparatus according to the second aspect, the suction-type double-sided conveying means has a conveying stock unit for sequentially conveying the printing papers while stacking them in a separated state. Therefore, the printing paper on which single-sided printing has been performed can be kept in a standby state for a large number of sheets in the transporting stock section in the suction-type double-sided transporting means, and the repetition of “front side printing → back side printing” can be immediately performed. The speed of double-sided printing is improved. At this time, the printing papers that have been printed on one side are sequentially fed without overlapping, so that the printing papers are not stained with the ink that has not been dried yet. In addition, since it takes a longer time to transport the printing paper newly stacked on the transport stock unit to the re-feeding unit, the printing paper that has been printed on one side is easily dried naturally.
[0016]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the stencil printing apparatus according to the first, second, third or fourth aspect, the double-sided conveying means has a drying means for drying a printed surface of the printing paper. Accordingly, since the printing paper having been printed on one side is forcibly dried by the drying unit before being conveyed to the paper re-feeding unit, the printed surface is less likely to be stained by the ink during printing on the other side.
[0017]
According to a sixth aspect of the present invention, in the stencil printing apparatus according to the first, second, third, fourth or fifth aspect, the double-sided conveying means has a horizontal position adjusting and conveying means for printing paper. Accordingly, the position of the printing paper on which single-sided printing has been performed is adjusted in the width direction by the horizontal position adjusting / conveying unit before being conveyed to the re-feeding unit. Therefore, it is also possible to adjust the printing position of the image for front side printing or the image for back side printing to provide for the other side printing, and intentionally adjust the printing position of the image for front side printing or the image for back side printing. It is also possible to shift and use it for printing on the other side.
[0018]
According to a seventh aspect of the present invention, in the stencil printing machine according to the first, second, third, fourth, fifth or sixth aspect, a cleaning means for cleaning the surface of the pressure roller is provided. Therefore, even if the pressure roller in contact with the one-side printed surface of the printing paper becomes dirty with ink during the other-side printing, it is cleaned by the cleaning means, so that the printing paper does not become dirty.

【The invention's effect】
According to the first aspect of the present invention, under an inexpensive configuration using one plate cylinder, it is possible to automatically and easily cause the printing unit to re-feed and perform the reverse side printing. Since the master wound on the plate cylinder simultaneously has the image for front side printing and the image for back side printing, two-sided printing is completed one by one only by selectively switching the image to be printed by the printing means. However, it is also possible to adopt a printing method for finishing the required number of prints as a whole.
[0075]
Further, according to the second aspect of the present invention, since the two-sided conveying means is of an adsorption type, the printing paper printed on one side may be stained with ink even if the ink is not sufficiently dried. And can be used for other side printing.
[0076]
According to the third aspect of the present invention, it is possible to keep several sheets of printing paper on which single-sided printing has been performed in the suction-type double-sided conveying means, and to immediately repeat "front side printing → back side printing". The speed of double-sided printing performed one by one can be improved. At this time, the printing paper that has been printed on one side is sequentially sent to the next transport unit without overlapping, so that the printing paper is not dried with ink. Dirty can also be prevented.
[0077]
According to the fourth aspect of the present invention, it is possible to keep the printing paper on which single-side printing has been performed for a large number of sheets in the transfer stock section in the suction-type double-sided transfer means, and repeat “front side printing → back side printing”. It can be performed immediately, and the speed of double-sided printing can be improved. In this case, the printing paper that has been printed on one side is sent sequentially without overlapping, so that the printing paper may be stained with ink that is not dried. In addition to this, it is possible to allow a longer time for the printing paper to be newly stacked on the transport stock unit to be transported to the re-feeding unit, so that the one-side printed printing paper can be easily dried naturally.
[0078]
According to the fifth aspect of the invention, it is possible to forcibly dry the printing paper printed on one side by the drying unit before the printing paper is conveyed to the re-feeding unit. Contamination can be further reduced.
[0079]
According to the sixth aspect of the present invention, it is possible to adjust the position in the width direction by the horizontal position adjusting / conveying unit before the single-sided printed printing paper is conveyed to the re-feeding unit. It is also possible to adjust to match the printing position of the image for backside printing or the image for backside printing and to provide for other side printing, or to intentionally deviate from the printing position of the image for front side printing or the image for backside printing It can also be used for other side printing.
[0080]
According to the seventh aspect of the present invention, even if the pressure roller in contact with the one-side printed surface of the printing paper becomes dirty with ink during the other-side printing, it can be cleaned by the cleaning means, and the printing can be performed by the pressure roller during the two-side printing. It is possible to prevent the paper from being stained.
[0081]
According to the eighth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a document reading means for optically reading a document image and outputting image information for plate making to the plate making means, and the document reading means reads the document image by dividing it into two parts. Since it has the means, it can be applied without problem even when performing double-sided printing from a large document to about half the printing paper.
[0082]
According to the ninth aspect of the invention, there is provided a document reading means for optically reading a document image and outputting image information for plate making to the plate making means, and the document reading means has an automatic document reversing and conveying device. Therefore, the present invention can be applied to a case where both-side printing is performed using a two-sided original without any trouble.
[0083]
According to the tenth aspect of the present invention, since the two-sided conveying means is detachable from the apparatus main body, unless the two-sided conveying means is mounted, the apparatus main body can be stencil-printed for normal single-sided printing. A stencil printing apparatus capable of performing double-sided printing only by mounting the double-sided conveying means can be used, and a common apparatus main body can be achieved.
