【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】この発明は、使い捨ておむつ
に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】従来、使い捨ておむつの不透液性裏面シ
ートにポリエチレンフィルム等の不透液性プラスチック
フィルムを使用することは慣用技術として周知である。
また、特開平３−８６１５９号公報には、プラスチック
フィルムと、その外面に接合する不織布とからなる複合
シートを裏面シートとして使用する技術が開示されてい
る。
【０００３】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】プラスチックフィルム
を裏面シートとして使用する前記慣用技術のおむつで
は、需要者にプラスチックフィルムに特有の肌触りを嫌
われることが多い。前記公知技術が教示するように、か
かるフィルムの外面が不織布で被覆された複合シートで
あると、おむつの外面が布のような肌触りになって、フ
ィルムに特有の問題は解消される。しかしながら、裏面
シートがそのような複合シートであると、フィルムだけ
の場合に比べて剛性が高くなり、胴周りや脚周りの弾性
部材が収縮して生じるギャザーは、ピッチが大きくな
る。脚周りでギャザーのピッチが大きいと、換言すれ
ば、脚周りに細かなギャザーが得られないと、おむつ
は、脚周りへの密着性が低下し、脚周りからの体液漏れ
の一因となる。
【０００４】この発明は、使い捨ておむつにおいて、前
後胴周りの肌触りをよくすると同時に、脚周りへの密着
性をよくすることを課題にしている。
【０００５】
【課題を解決するための手段】前記課題を解決するため
に、この発明においては、透液性表面シートと、不透液
性裏面シートと、これら両シート間に介在する吸液性コ
アとによって構成され、前胴周り域と、後胴周り域と、
これら両域間に位置する股下域とを有し、前記表裏面シ
ートが前記コアの両側から延出して前後胴周り側縁部
と、股下域側縁部とを形成し、前記股下域側縁部のそれ
ぞれに脚周り弾性伸縮部材を有する使い捨ておむつを前
提にしている。
【０００６】この発明は、かかる前提において、不透液
性プラスチックフィルムと、前記前後胴周り域における
前記プラスチックフィルムそれぞれの外面に一体的に接
合し、前記股下域において互いに離間する一対の熱可塑
性合成繊維不織布とからなり、前記前後胴周り側縁部を
含む前記前後胴周りの外面全域が前記不織布で覆われて
おり、前記前後胴周り域における前記不織布が前記おむ
つの前後方向で離間する寸法が、１００〜５００ｍｍの
範囲内にあることを特徴とする。

【実施例】添付の図面を参照して、この発明にかかる使
い捨ておむつの詳細を説明すると、以下のとおりであ
る。
【０００８】図１に部分破断平面図で示されたおむつ１
は、肌接触側の表面シート２と、肌非接触側の裏面シー
ト３と、これら両シート２，３間に介在する吸液性コア
４とからなり、前胴周り域６と、後胴周り域７と、これ
ら両域６，７間に位置する股下域８とを有する。表裏面
シート２，３は、コア４の四周から延出する部分で接合
し、前後胴周り端縁部１０，１１と、前後胴周り側縁部
１２，１３と、股下域側縁部１４とを形成し、その股下
域側縁部１４は、着用者の脚周りにフィットするように
おむつ内方に湾曲している。前後胴周り端縁部１０，１
１と股下域側縁部１４とには、表裏面シート２，３間に
胴周り弾性部材１６，１７と脚周り弾性部材１８とがあ
って、それらシート２，３のいずれかの内面に伸長状態
で接合している。左右の後胴周り側縁部１３からは、前
胴周り側縁部１２に対して着脱可能なテープファスナ１
９が延出している。
【０００９】表面シート２には、透液性の不織布や透液
性の開孔プラスチックフィルムが使用されている。
【００１０】裏面シート３は、おむつ１の裏面側の全体
を覆う不透液性または通気不透液性のプラスチックフィ
ルム２１と、このフィルム２１の前胴周り域と実質的に
同形同大で、それに一体的に接合する不織布２２と、フ
ィルム２１の後胴周り域と実質的に同形同大で、それに
一体的に接合する不織布２３とによって構成されてい
る。図１から明らかなように、弾性伸縮部材１８は、股
下域８から不織布２２，２３が位置する前後胴周り域
６，７の下側縁部まで延びている。
【００１１】このようなおむつ１の裏面シート３におい
て、着用者や母親の手が触れる機会の多い前後胴周り域
６，７は、その最外側が不織布２２，２３であって、布
の肌触りとなる。手が触れる機会の少ない股下域８は、
不織布２２，２３がなくてプラスチックフィルム２１だ
けで構成されているから、ここでは、不織布２２，２３
がない分だけ、裏面シート３の剛性が低くなる。それに
より、弾性部材１８が収縮すると、股下域側縁部１４に
は比較的細かなギャザーが生じ、おむつ１は脚周りへの
密着性がよくなる。不織布２２と２３とがおむつの前後
方向で離間する寸法は、伸展状態のおむつで１００〜５
００ｍｍの範囲内にあることが好ましく、成人用おむつ
には大きな離間寸法が適用される。不織布２２，２３と
プラスチックフィルム２１との接合には、おむつ１のそ
の他の部材の接合と同様に、ホットメルト接着剤等の接
着剤を使用したり、熱溶着技術を利用したりすることが
できる。不織布２２と２３とは、互いの大きさや外形が
同一でもよいし、同一でなくてもよい。

【発明の効果】この発明に係るおむつでは、裏面シート
が、前後胴周り域でプラスチックフィルムと不織布の二
層からなり、股下域でプラスチックフィルムの一層から
なるから、股下域の剛性が前記前後胴周り域のそれより
も低い。したがって、裏面シートの全域が前記二層から
なる公知のおむつに比較して、股下域には脚周りに密着
し易い細かいギャザーが生じ、***物の漏れ防止に効果
がある。

  1. 【請求項１】透液性表面シートと、不透液性裏面シート
    と、これら両シート間に介在する吸液性コアとによって
    構成され、前胴周り域と、後胴周り域と、これら両域間
    に位置する股下域とを有し、前記表裏面シートが前記コ
    アの両側から延出して前後胴周り側縁部と、股下域側縁
    部とを形成し、前記股下域側縁部のそれぞれに脚周り弾
    性伸縮部材を有する使い捨ておむつにおいて、 前記裏面シートが、不透液性プラスチックフィルムと、
    前記前後胴周り域における前記プラスチックフィルムそ
    れぞれの外面に一体的に接合し、前記股下域において互
    いに離間する一対の熱可塑性合成繊維不織布とからな
    り、前記前後胴周り側縁部を含む前記前後胴周りの外面
    全域が前記不織布で覆われており、前記前後胴周り域に
    おける前記不織布が前記おむつの前後方向で離間する寸
    法が、１００〜５００ｍｍの範囲内にある前記おむつ。
