又、固定径プーリーにない利点は、接動状態のまま自転車が遊転に這入る時、固定径プーリーでは即時エンジンブレーキとなり、速度が減殺されるが、本案の可変径鼓車では、線素が回転方向になびき、釣合バネ▲15▼の押力で駆動径が縮小するので、自転車の遊転を妨げることはない。これも本案の特徴の一つである。
