Description
BACKGROUND OF THE
When transporting long or heavy objects such as canoes, bicycles, and work ladders by car or the like, a roof rack is mounted on the roof of the car, and a load is loaded on the roof rack. Such a roof rack usually includes a pair of rods fixed to the roof of an automobile and a mounting table fixed to the rods.
Then, it is common practice to place the transported object on the carrier by hand and fix the transported object to the mounting table with a rope or the like.
However, a considerable force is required to lift the transported object to the mounting table. In addition, RV vehicles and one-box cars have high roofs and have to be loaded and unloaded with a limited footing using stepladders or ladders, which makes the work difficult. In addition, the work is performed while taking care not to damage the automobile, so that the difficulty increases.
Therefore, a roof rack has been considered in which a load is placed on the roof using a simple mechanism. For example, the present invention relates to an automobile roof rack provided with an extension mechanism for lowering a load supporting surface on a side surface of a vehicle, in which a lowered load supporting surface is kept horizontal, and a conveyed object is fixed on the lowered load supporting surface. There is a mechanism in which the mechanism is lifted again by a combination of horizontal and vertical movements, shifted on the roof of a car, and fixed on the roof (for example, Patent Document 1).
However, a roof rack for a vehicle equipped with a conventional extension mechanism requires human power to shift a conveyed object on the roof, and loads and unloads heavy or long objects such as canoes, bicycles, and ladders. Was difficult.
In addition, the automobile roof rack with the extension mechanism is integrated with the car, and protects the extension and movement mechanism from long-term continuous vibration and dust, and withstands rain, snow, sunlight, etc. (Weather resistance). Furthermore, even if the vehicle is empty, a constant weight of the roof rack must always be transported together with the vehicle, which is a waste of energy.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a loading aid suitable for loading and unloading heavy or long objects while reducing human power as much as possible.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a loading aid that can be detached from an automobile and stored separately in the case of an empty load.
Other problems and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following description of the present invention.
According to the present invention, a pair of guide rails having an engaging element to be engaged with the surface of an automobile, a crosspiece for maintaining a left-right distance between the pair of guide rails, and a vertical movement along the pair of guide rails. It is possible that the loading section is provided with a loading platform, and driving means for driving the loading platform, wherein the engaging element is disposed on the rear side of the guide rail, and the loading section is located on the front side of the guide rail. And the power of the driving means is a vehicle loading aid which is an electromagnetic motor powered by a vehicle power supply.
The loading aid is used by connecting the electromagnetic motor to a vehicle power source such as a vehicle battery. Then, the object to be transported is placed on the loading section, and the driving means is operated to move the object to be transported upward to a position substantially equal to the roof of the automobile. Thereafter, the transported object is moved in a substantially horizontal direction by human power or the like, and is placed on the roof rack (or on the roof). Then disconnect the power supply. The loading aid is loaded in a vehicle or a roof rack and transported together with the load.
In the present invention, the surface of the vehicle may be any of the surface of the vehicle body and the surface of a structure (such as a roof rack or a ladder) attached to the vehicle. The term "engage with the automobile surface" means that it is brought into contact with a rod of a roof rack, is brought into contact with a side end face of a roof, is brought into contact with a side face and a rear face of an automobile, and is a structural roof. It also includes the case where it is hooked on a rod such as a rack or a ladder.
The engagement surface of the engagement element may be a mere flat surface, or may be a curved surface according to the surface shape of the automobile. When engaging with the surface of an automobile, the engagement surface can be made of synthetic resin, hardened rubber, or the like so as not to damage the coating on the automobile surface. Further, when the engagement partner is a metal rod, it can be made of any material such as aluminum, stainless steel, etc. in addition to the above-mentioned synthetic resin, hardened rubber and the like.
The engagement element is usually disposed above the upper and lower middle point of the guide rail.
As the driving means, a known driving means for converting the rotational motion of the electromagnetic motor into a linear motion can be used. For example, there are a belt, a chain or a combination of a wire and a wheel to drive a wheel, a rack and a pinion to drive a pinion, a worm gear and a wheel to drive a worm gear or a wheel, and the like.
The carrier may slide on the guide rail, and wheels or rollers may be interposed between the carrier and the guide rail. The wheels and rollers may be attached to the carrier or to the guide rail, but are preferably attached to the carrier.
The shape of the loading platform is not particularly limited, as long as the loading section can be arranged. For example, a rectangular plate, a rectangular frame, a U-shaped frame, or the like can be used.
The shape of the loading portion is not particularly limited as long as the transported object can be placed thereon. For example, a rod-shaped loading frame attached to a loading platform, a plate-shaped or net-shaped loading plate attached to a loading platform, a chair, etc. Shaped ones can be mentioned. In addition, it is possible to stabilize the mounting state of the transported object by making the upper surface concave.
The guide rails can be integral and can be folded. Folding can save space for transport and storage. If integrated, it can be used immediately after transport.
The car refers to a gasoline engine car, a diesel engine car, an LPG fuel car, an electric car, a fuel cell car, a hybrid car, and the like. In addition, regardless of the shape of the car, it refers to all of general passenger cars, mini cars, RV cars, one-box cars, trucks, microbuses, buses and the like.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the cross-section of the guide rail has a left-right plane and a front-rear plane, and two pairs of front-rear wheels disposed on the carrier are provided for each pair. The guide rails are in contact with one side and the other side of the left and right plane, and two left and right wheels arranged on the carrier are in contact with front and rear planes of the respective guide rails, and the two left and right wheels are The left and right movement of the loading platform may be regulated in cooperation.
The wheels avoid sliding between the guide rails and the carrier, and facilitate the vertical movement of the carrier. Therefore, even when a heavy object is raised or lowered, the carrier can be smoothly moved. Further, the three sets of wheels have an effect that the positional relationship between the guide rail and the cargo bed is always kept good. Therefore, even after the vibration is applied during transportation of the loading aid, it can be used immediately without adjustment.
The guide rail having a left-right plane and a front-rear plane is, for example, a rod having an L-shaped or T-shaped cross section, a rectangular cross section, or a square rod.
The pair of front and rear wheels regulate the back and forth movement of the carrier. It is preferable that the one minute surface and the other minute surface on the left and right surfaces of the guide rail, where the pair of front and rear wheels abut, are in close proximity to each other and sandwich the left and right surfaces. However, the arrangement may be such that the contact is made at a remote position.
"The two left and right wheels cooperate to regulate the lateral movement of the carrier" means that the wheels are located inside the front and rear planes as viewed from the middle part of the carrier, and are in contact with the inside of the front and rear surfaces. And any of the arrangements in which the wheels are located outside the front and rear surfaces.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the loading section is openable and closable, and has an open state in which it protrudes from the carrier toward the front side of the guide rail and a closed state in which it is substantially parallel to the guide rail. You may be able to do it.
In this way, the space required for carrying and storing the loading aid can be saved.
The structure that can be opened and closed includes, for example, a structure in which a support member is pivotally disposed on one of a loading platform and a loading unit, and the other is engaged with the support member. Further, there is a structure in which both ends of one support member are pivotally disposed on both the carrier and the loading section, and the one support member is folded.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the engaging element is fixed to an upper portion of the guide rail, projects toward a rear surface side of the guide rail, and the engaging element has a concave lower surface with an open lower surface. It may have a space portion of a shape, and the concave portion may be formed so as to engage with a rod of a roof rack which is a surface of an automobile.
When the engaging element is engaged with the rod, there is an effect that the guide rail is fixed to the front and rear surfaces. As a result, the loading aid can be made nearly vertical when leaning against the vehicle, and the overall length of the guide rail can be shortened, and the space required for transporting and storing the loading aid can be saved. There is.
Roof rack rods include a rod mounted on the roof with a car manufacturer option and a commercially available roof rack rod mounted on the roof. Further, it may be a rod that supports the load table or a rod that configures the load table. Further, the mounting direction of the rod may be substantially parallel to the front-rear direction of the vehicle, or may be substantially parallel to the left-right direction.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the crosspiece is disposed at an upper portion and a lower portion of the pair of guide rails, and the driving means includes a single wire and a driving pulley driven by the electromagnetic motor. The rotation axis of the driving pulley has a fixed position relative to the guide rail, and a free pulley is disposed on each of the upper and lower crosspieces, and the wire is connected to the two free pulleys. A part of the wire is wound around the drive pulley, both ends of the wire are connected to each other, and the carrier is fixed to a part of the wire. , The carrier may move.
There is an effect that the drive mechanism can be formed by simple components such as a wire and a pulley. Therefore, the drive mechanism can be manufactured at low cost.
"The rotation shaft of the drive pulley is fixed relative to the guide rail" means, for example, a structure in which a third rail is provided at the upper and lower middle portion of the guide rail, and the rotation shaft of the drive pulley is fixed to this rail. Say. Also, it means a structure in which the rotation shaft of the drive pulley is fixed at a fixed position on the guide rail.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the connection of both ends of the wire is performed through the carrier by fixing each end of the wire to the carrier, and one end of the wire is Alternatively, it may be fixed to the carrier through an elastic body.
Since the wire is always suspended by the pulley while maintaining a constant tension by the elastic body, even if the loading aid is moved on the automobile (even if vibration is applied), the preferable suspension relationship between the wire and the pulley is maintained. Is done. Therefore, if the carrier device is unloaded from the automobile, it can be used immediately without any adjustment. Furthermore, even if the wire extends and contracts due to a change in the outside air temperature, a change with time, or the like, the elastic body absorbs the extension and contraction, so that the drive pulley and the wire do not slip.
The elastic body includes a helical spring, a leaf spring, rubber and the like.
It is to be noted that maintaining a constant tension means that the wire is not loosened, and does not necessarily mean a tension equal to or higher than a certain value.
The preferred embodiments of the present invention described above can be implemented in combination as much as possible.
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, a to-be-conveyed object can be raised and lowered between the ground and the roof plane of a motor vehicle without using human power. Loading and unloading of the conveyed objects is mainly a horizontal moving operation, which is a light operation.
In addition, since an automobile power source is used as a power source, there is no need to prepare a special drive source. Therefore, it is particularly suitable for carrying outdoor sports equipment and outdoor work equipment.
Further, the loading aid of the present invention can be easily carried on a roof rack of a car or in a car by being carried with a conveyed object.
If it is not needed, it can be separated from the car and stored in a garage or the like. Therefore, energy can be saved, and required vibration resistance, dust resistance, weather resistance, and the like are reduced.
Hereinafter, the loading aid according to the present invention will be further described with reference to examples. In FIG. 2, members common to those in FIG. 1 are given the same numbers. Hereinafter, in FIGS. 3 to 9, the same numbers are given to common members and the like.

FIG. 4 is a detailed view of the

Next, an operation of loading and unloading a canoe on a roof rack of a passenger car using the loading aid will be described.

Next, the operation switch is operated to rotate the
Further, when the
When the vehicle arrives at the destination, the loading aid is again set on the vehicle and the power supply is connected. This time, the loading platform is raised to the top, and the canoe C is placed on the
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be used for loading and unloading a long or heavy object such as a canoe, a bicycle, and a work ladder on a car roof.
