(57)【特許請求の範囲】(57) [Claims] 【請求項1】 複数の基布を縫製して袋状に形成され、
ガス発生器の作動時に膨出するようになされたエアバッ
グ装置のエアバッグ本体において、前記エアバッグ本体
は、複数の四角形状の基布を略コ字状に屈折させ、最初
の四角形状の基布のコ字状の中央部付近の端部に他の四
角形状の基布のコ字状の端部を夫々縫着して連続状態に
縫着され、最初の四角形状の基布のコ字状の両端部同士
が縫着され、前記複数の基布のうち袋体の内部に位置す
る基布のコ字状の中央部に連通孔が形成され、前記袋体
の内部に位置する基布のコ字状の中央部が形状規制用の
ストラップに形成されていることを特徴とするエアバッ
グ装置のエアバッグ本体。
