Claims (26)
- メッシュ状拡張構造体を少なくとも備え、
前記メッシュ状拡張構造体は、平面螺旋形状の拡張形態と、血管から動脈瘤へと送達するための圧縮形態とを有する、動脈瘤閉塞装置。 - 少なくとも一部が前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の内腔内に配置されるガイド構造体をさらに備え、
前記メッシュ状拡張構造体が螺旋形状にある場合、前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の前記内腔内における前記ガイド構造体の少なくとも一部は、螺旋形状に拡張される、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。 - 少なくとも一部が前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の遠位端の外側に配置されるガイド構造体をさらに備え、
前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の遠位端の外側における前記ガイド構造体の部分は、螺旋形状の拡張形態と、血管から動脈瘤へと送達するための圧縮形態とを有する、請求項1に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。 - 前記ガイド構造体は、全体的に前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の遠位端の外側に配置され、
前記ガイド構造体の近位端は、前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の遠位端に接続される、請求項3に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。 - 前記ガイド構造体は、軸周りに線形部材を巻き付けることにより平面螺旋形状に形成され、
前記ガイド構造体の螺旋方向は、前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の螺旋方向と同じである、請求項4に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。 - 前記ガイド構造体および前記メッシュ状拡張構造体は同一螺旋平面に位置し、
前記ガイド構造体の螺旋の軸は、前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の螺旋の軸と一致する、請求項5に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。 - 拡張形態にある前記ガイド構造体の平面螺旋は、前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の遠位端に近接する第1螺旋巻の内部に位置する、請求項5に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の断面積は、近位端から遠位端にかけて、増大した後に減少する、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体は、軸方向に沿って順次接続される近位セクション、中央セクション、および遠位セクションを有し、
前記近位セクションの断面積は近位端から遠位端にかけて次第に増大し、および/または、前記遠位セクションの断面積は遠位端から近位端にかけて次第に増大する、請求項8に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。 - 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の断面積は、近位端から遠位端にかけて、増大した後に減少することを繰り返す、請求項8に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の最大外径は、前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の最大螺旋巻の外径の1/5~1/2である、請求項8に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の遠位端は遠位放射線不透性リングに固定され、および/または、前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の近位端は近位放射線不透性リングに固定される、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体は、形状記憶素材製の0.0005インチ~0.002インチの直径を有する48本~144本のフィラメントにより編組されている、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体は、放射線不透性フィラメントにより編組され、または、放射線不透性フィラメントと非放射線不透性フィラメントとにより編組されている、請求項13に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体は、少なくとも1回の螺旋巻を有する、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体は、1~5回の螺旋巻を有する、請求項15に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記ガイド構造体は、少なくとも1/4回の螺旋巻を有する、請求項2~7のいずれか一項に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記ガイド構造体は、1/4回~3回の螺旋巻を有する、請求項17に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記ガイド構造体の最大螺旋巻の外径は、前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の最大螺旋巻の外径の1/2を超えない、請求項2~7のいずれか一項に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記ガイド構造体は、放射線不透性素材を含有する素材製である、請求項2~7のいずれか一項に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の近位端には、径方向の外側に延びる突出部が設けられる、請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 前記突出部は、円周方向に連続的若しくは非連続的な閉鎖リングであり、または、前記突出部は未閉鎖リングである、請求項21に記載の動脈瘤閉塞装置。
- 請求項1~22のいずれか一項に記載の前記動脈瘤閉塞装置と、
プッシュロッドと、
を備え、
前記プッシュロッドは、前記動脈瘤閉塞装置の前記メッシュ状拡張構造体の近位端に接続される、動脈瘤閉塞治療装置。 - 前記プッシュロッドは、拡張形態にある前記メッシュ状拡張構造体における螺旋形状の螺旋輪郭の接線方向に沿って延びる、請求項23に記載の動脈瘤閉塞治療装置。
- 請求項1~22のいずれか一項に記載の前記動脈瘤閉塞装置と、
カテーテルと、
を備え、
前記メッシュ状拡張構造体は、前記カテーテル内に圧縮され、前記カテーテルから放出された後、螺旋形状の拡張形態を復元する、動脈瘤閉塞システム。 - 前記カテーテルは、0.017インチ、0.021インチ、または0.027インチの内径を有する、請求項25に記載の動脈瘤閉塞システム。
