Abstract
Description
図面を参照して、本実施形態の表示装置10について説明する。表示装置10は、駆動用モータのトルクを利用して車輪を駆動する車両に搭載される。車両は、駆動用モータに電力を供給する電池を備える。車両の電池の残量によって、車両の航続距離、即ち、車両が電池の残量に応じて航続距離が変動する。このため、電池の残量を用いて、航続距離を推定することができる。
図1に示すように、表示装置10は、制御部12と、表示部14と、出力部16と、格納部18と、通信インターフェイス(図面及び以下「通信I/F」と呼ぶ)20と、操作部22と、を備える。
図2に示すように、表示部14は、運転ゲージ30と、ポイントゲージ32と、航続距離表示部34と、を備える。運転ゲージ30は、車両の走行中において、現時点での電費(以下では「特定電費」と呼ぶ)の大きさを表示する。運転ゲージ30には、特定電費の大きさに応じた左右方向の長さを有する四角形のゲージ31が表示される。なお、四角形のゲージの上下方向の長さは一定である。運転ゲージ30では、特定電費が大きいほど、左右方向の長さが長い。
次いで、図4を参照して、制御部12が実行する表示制御処理を説明する。制御部12は、車両の電源がオフからオンに切り替えられた後、電源がオンである間に定期的に、表示制御処理を実行する。制御部12は、例えば、特定電費を算出すべきタイミング(例えば1秒毎)に、表示制御処理を実行する。表示制御処理では、S12において、制御部12は、通信I/F20を介して、車両に搭載されている各装置及び格納部18から、車両の走行状況を表す走行データを取得する。具体的には、制御部12は、現時点から所定の直前の時点(例えば1秒前)との間の特定期間の走行距離及び消費電力と、車両が起動してから現時点までの走行距離及び消費電力と、を取得する。なお、制御部12は、S12において取得される特定期間の走行距離及び消費電力を累積的に、格納部18に格納させる。これにより、制御部12は、格納部18から累積的に格納されている複数の特定期間の走行距離及び消費電力を取得することによって、車両が起動してから現時点までの走行距離及び消費電力を取得することができる。なお、格納部18に累積的に格納されている特定期間の走行距離及び消費電力は、車両の電源がオンからオフに切り替えられると削除されてもよい。
次いで、表示装置10が実行する順位決定処理を説明する。制御部12は、通信I/F20を介して、例えば車両の製造者が設置しているサーバに、電位差積算値を、車両の識別情報をとともに、送信する。車両の識別情報は、車両に固有に付与されている情報である。格納部18に、車両の製造者等によって、予め格納されている。車両の識別情報には、車両の車種を特定する情報が含まれている。サーバは、受信済みの電位差積算値と車両の識別情報と、を組み合わせて格納する。サーバは、他の1台以上の車両の表示装置10から、同様に、受信済みの電位差積算値と車両の識別情報と、を受信して格納することができる。
次いで、表示装置10が実行する運転アドバイス処理を説明する。制御部12は、操作部22の選択ボタンが操作されて、格納部18に格納済みの1個以上の特性情報のうち、特定の特性情報が選択される場合に、特性情報の選択後において、表示制御処理のS16で算出される特定電費を格納部18に累積的に格納させる。これにより、図3に示すように、特性情報AAA、BBBと、特定電費が累積的に格納されている電費関連情報IN1、IN2と、が組み合わせて格納される。
第1実施形態では、表示制御処理のS24において、最大長さに、S24で算出される基準電費差積算値に対するS22で算出済みの電費差積算値の割合を乗算することによって、S22で算出済みの電費差積算値に対応するポイントゲージ32の長さを算出する。本実施形態では、S24におけるポイントゲージ32の長さの算出方法が異なる。即ち、S24において、制御部12は、電池の残量に応じて電費を抑制すべき状況では、ポイントゲージ32の長さの算出方法を変更する。
車両は、駆動用モータ以外に、駆動用のエンジンを備えていてもよい。この場合、電池の残容量を用いて航続距離を推定してもよい。あるいは、この場合、電池容量と燃料の残量を用いて航続距離を推定してもよい。

- 特定の運転者が前記車両を運転する場合に、前記特定の運転者の識別情報を特定する特定部と、
前記特定の運転者の識別情報と、前記特定の運転者が前記車両を運転している間の電費の変動に関連する電費関連情報を格納する格納部と、
前記電費関連情報に基づいて得られる前記特定の運転者が電費を低減するための情報を出力する出力部と、をさらに備える、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の表示装置。
