Abstract
Description
図1(A),(B)、図2(A),(B)に見られる本実施形態に係るプラグコネクタIは、回路基板(図示せず)の実装面に実装される回路基板用電気コネクタである。また、プラグコネクタIの相手接続体(相手コネクタ)としてのレセプタクルコネクタIIは、他の回路基板(図示せず)の実装面に実装される回路基板用電気コネクタである。本実施形態を示す、以下の各図において、方向性を理解しやすくするために、回路基板の実装面に対して直角な上下方向をコネクタ高さ方向Z、コネクタにおける端子配列方向をY、コネクタ高さ方向Zおよび端子配列方向Yの両方向に対して直角な方向なコネクタ幅方向をXとして設定してある。プラグコネクタIおよびレセプタクルコネクタIIは、回路基板の実装面同士が平行となった姿勢で、実装面に対して直角なコネクタ高さ方向Z(上方Z1および下方Z2)を接続方向として抜出可能に嵌合接続される。本実施形態では、プラグコネクタIに対してレセプタクルコネクタIIが下方Z2に向け嵌合接続されるようになっている。
先ず、プラグコネクタIについては、可動ハウジング40を、図3に見られるごとく固定ハウジング30の下方に位置させた後に、固定ハウジング30内に下方から進入させて配置する。
プラグコネクタIとレセプタクルコネクタIIをそれぞれ対応する回路基板に取り付ける。
図8に示される第二実施形態は、プラグ端子が金属板部材を板厚方向で打ち抜かれて作られた第一実施形態とは異なり、プラグ端子110が金属帯部材を板厚方向に屈曲して作られること、可動ハウジング140の進入壁部140Aの底壁143の底面に形成された底面側突条部143Eがプラグ端子110よりも下方に突出していることに特徴があり、他は第一実施形態の場合と同じであり、第一実施形態と対応する部位には第一実施形態での符号に「100」を加えた数字の符号を付し、重複する説明は省略する。

Claims (3)
- 回路基板へ接続のための接続部が一端側に、相手接続体を接触させるための接触部が他端側に形成された端子と、回路基板の面に対して平行な一方向を端子配列方向として上記端子を複数保持するハウジングとを有し、該ハウジングが上記端子の上記接続部を介した回路基板への取付けのための固定ハウジングと、該固定ハウジングに対して可動で端子の接触部を配置する可動ハウジングとを有し、上記固定ハウジングが上記相手接続体との接続方向で上記可動ハウジングの進入を許容する内部空間を形成している回路基板用電気コネクタにおいて、
上記端子は、上記固定ハウジングで圧入保持される固定側被保持部と、上記可動ハウジングで圧入保持される可動側被保持部と、該固定側被保持部と該可動側被保持部との間に位置し弾性変形可能な弾性部とを有し、
上記可動ハウジングは、上記固定ハウジングの内部空間に進入して該固定ハウジングとは離間して位置する進入壁部を有し、該進入壁部の一壁面に、上記弾性部の一部を収容するための上記接続方向に延びる端子収容溝が端子配列方向に配列形成され、上記一壁面に対し直角なコネクタ幅方向で反対側となる背部側に上記端子の上記可動側被保持部を保持する可動側端子保持部が形成され、
さらに、上記可動ハウジングは、隣接する上記端子収容溝同士間に、上記進入壁部の回路基板側に向く先端部から上記接続方向に延びる突条部を有し、上記端子が上記接続方向で回路基板側から取り付けられた状態で、上記突条部が端子配列方向で上記端子収容溝内の端子の弾性部との間に隙間を形成していることを特徴とする回路基板用電気コネクタ。 - 上記端子の上記弾性部は、上記可動ハウジングの上記可動側端子保持部と上記固定ハウジングとの間の空間で、複数の湾曲部をもつ波形形状をなし、コネクタ幅方向で上記可動側端子保持部に最も近く位置する湾曲部が、上記接続方向で上記回路基板から最も遠くに位置していることとする請求項1に記載の回路基板用電気コネクタ。
- 上記可動ハウジングは、回路基板に対面する上記先端部の先端面にも、上記端子収容溝および上記突条部が形成されていて、上記先端面における上記突条部が回路基板側へ向けて上記端子よりも突出していることとする請求項1または請求項2に記載の回路基板用電気コネクタ。
