Abstract
Description
本明細書に開示される一実施の形態は、光源モジュールに関する。光源モジュールは、直列に接続される4個のLED(発光ダイオード)を含むLEDストリングと、バッテリ電圧を受け、LEDストリングに目標電流に安定化された駆動電流を供給するLEDドライバ回路と、LEDストリングのうちの隣接する2個のLEDを含む被バイパス部分と並列に設けられ、バッテリ電圧に応じたバイパス電流をシンクするバイパス回路と、を備える。
以下、本発明を好適な実施の形態をもとに図面を参照しながら説明する。各図面に示される同一または同等の構成要素、部材、処理には、同一の符号を付するものとし、適宜重複した説明は省略する。また、実施の形態は、発明を限定するものではなく例示であって、実施の形態に記述されるすべての特徴やその組み合わせは、必ずしも発明の本質的なものであるとは限らない。
本実施の形態では、断線検出回路630を設け、断線しているときには、バイパス回路620をディセーブルとしてIBYPASS=0とすることにより、バッテリ電圧VBAT(VIN)の電圧レベルにかかわらず、LEDストリングを消灯させておくことができる。

Claims (11)
- 直列に接続される4個のLED(発光ダイオード)を含むLEDストリングと、
バッテリ電圧を受け、前記LEDストリングに目標電流に安定化された駆動電流を供給するLEDドライバ回路と、
前記LEDストリングのうちの隣接する2個のLEDを含む被バイパス部分と並列に設けられ、前記バッテリ電圧に応じたバイパス電流をシンクするバイパス回路と、
を備えることを特徴とする光源モジュール。 - 前記被バイパス部分の断線を検出すると、前記バイパス回路をディセーブルとする断線検出回路をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光源モジュール。
- 前記断線検出回路は、前記被バイパス部分の電圧降下が、Vf×2を超えると、前記被バイパス部分の断線と判定することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光源モジュール。
- 前記被バイパス部分に含まれる前記2個のLEDの光量の前記バッテリ電圧の変化に対する傾きは、5%/0.1V以下であることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の光源モジュール。
- LEDソケットであることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の光源モジュール。
- 前記LEDドライバ回路の入力端子とバッテリの間に設けられた逆接保護用のダイオードをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の光源モジュール。
- 直列に接続される4個のLED(発光ダイオード)を含むLEDストリングを駆動する点灯回路であって、
バッテリ電圧を受け、前記LEDストリングに目標電流に安定化された駆動電流を供給するLEDドライバ回路と、
前記LEDストリングのうちの隣接する2個のLEDを含む被バイパス部分と並列に設けられ、前記バッテリ電圧に応じたバイパス電流をシンクするバイパス回路と、
を備えることを特徴とする点灯回路。 - 前記被バイパス部分の断線を検出すると、前記バイパス回路をディセーブルとする断線検出回路をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の点灯回路。
- 前記断線検出回路は、前記被バイパス部分の電圧降下が、Vf×2を超えると、前記被バイパス部分の断線と判定することを特徴とする請求項8に記載の点灯回路。
- 前記バイパス回路がシンクする電流の前記バッテリ電圧の変化に対する傾きは、前記目標電流を100%とするとき、5%/0.1V以下であることを特徴とする請求項7から9のいずれかに記載の点灯回路。
- 前記LEDドライバ回路の入力端子とバッテリの間に設けられた逆接保護用のダイオードをさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項7から10のいずれかに記載の点灯回路。
