Abstract
Description
(a)有機溶媒中、水酸基を有する重合体の水酸基に、酸無水物を反応させてエステル結合およびカルボキシ基を形成させる方法。
(b)水酸基を有する重合体と酸無水物とを混練し、前記水酸基に酸無水物を反応させてエステル結合およびカルボキシ基を形成させる方法。
鋼用部材等への石炭、石灰等の付着防止等に好適である。
<粉体塗料の調製>
表1に示す組成になるように各粉体をドライブレンドした後、粉体への剪断力の負荷を抑制しながら撹拌処理を行って、各粉体が均一に混合した粉体塗料を調製した。
基材としてステンレス鋼(SUS304)製の平板(サイズ:100mm×100mm×1.0mm)を用い、その表面を研磨紙によるデバリング処理により表面粗さRaが0.1μmになるように調整した後、アセトンにより洗浄した。基材表面の算術平均粗さRaは、表面粗さ測定機((株)東京精密製、サーフコム 1500DX3)により測定した。
調製した粉体塗料を用い、静電粉体塗装装置(旭サナック株式会社製、Ec’Corona−X−AXR100ST、撹拌タイプ)により帯電させた粉体塗料を基材表面に付着させた。静電粉体塗装装置の条件は、高電圧80kV、定電流30μA、吐出量60%、搬送風量60L/minとした。粉体塗料を付着させた基材を、熱風循環式乾燥炉を用いて、180℃で20分間、加熱処理を行った。冷却して、表面に塗膜が形成された基材、即ち、塗工物を得た。得られた塗工物を用いて後述の評価を行った。
(1)表面粗さRaの測定
表面粗さ測定器(株式会社東京精密製、SURFCOM 1500DX3)を用いて、縦倍率:2000倍、横倍率:6.3倍の条件で測定した。
接触角径(株式会社エキシマ製、SImage mini 7、測定限界:140°)を用いて、θ/2法にて算出した。接触角が120°以上であれば、撥水性が優れていると判断できる。測定限界を超えるものは140°以上とした。
実施例及び比較例で得られた塗工物を、マイクロ・アジャスタブル・アングルプレート(株式会社ニューストロング製)に、塗膜が形成された面を鉛直方向上側に面するようにして水平に取り付けた後、評価用液体(擬似雪、水性塗料、パルプ水分散スラリー)を、ピペットを用いて滴下し、塗工物を水平状態から漸次傾けていき、評価用液体の液滴が滑りはじめる角度を測定した。測定は、5回行い、その平均値を滑落角とした。評価用液体として、以下のものを用いた。
(a)擬似雪
中空ガラスビーズ(比重:1)と水との混合物(重量比:ビーズ/水=40/60)(中島章、「擬似雪の出典:固体表面の濡れ制御」、P171、2007年10月刊、内田老鶴圃、参照。)
(b)水性塗料
日本ペイント株式会社製、nax E3 WB(ナックスイーキューブ ダブリュービー)、アクリル樹脂ベースの塗料
(c)パルプ水分散体
スギノマシン株式会社製、BiNFis FMa10010、紙パルプ由来のナノファイバー水系スラリー(固形分濃度 1重量%)
実施例及び比較例で得られた塗膜の上面に、紙ワイパー(キムワイプ S−200、日本製紙クレシア株式会社製)を設置し、さらに紙ワイパー上に100gの錘を載せ、荷重をかけながら100mmの距離を速度50mm/secで3回動かしてスクラッチ痕を形成させた。このスクラッチ試験前後の水滴接触角を測定し、耐久性を比較、評価した。
実施例2及び比較例4の塗膜が形成された基材をサンプルとして用い、塗膜表面及びコンターマシンによる切断面を走査型電子顕微鏡(株式会社日立ハイテクノロジーズ製、S−3400N)にて観察した。
(1)粉体1
・マトリックス:AGC株式会社製、ルミフロン(登録商標)フレーク LF710、フルオロエチレン/ビニルエーテル交互重合体、ガラス転移温度:約51℃、OH価:46mgKOH/g、平均粒子径:50μm。
・架橋成分:εカプロラクタムによりブロック化したイソシアネート系架橋剤(架橋開始温度:180℃)。実施例1〜5、及び比較例1〜3、比較例5〜6については、粉体1のマトリックス樹脂100重量部対し、当該架橋剤を35重量部添加した。
(2)粉体2

スリーエムジャパン株式会社製、ダイニオン TF9207Z、PTFEの微粒子、平均粒子径:4μm、未溶融品。

スリーエムジャパン株式会社製、ダイニオン TF9705、PTFEの微粒子、平均粒子径:8μm、未溶融品。

株式会社喜多村製、KT−600M、PTFEの微粒子、平均粒子径:14μm、溶融済み品。
(d)
株式会社アドマテックス製、SO−06、球状シリカ、平均粒子径:2μm。
Claims (12)
- 架橋型フッ素樹脂を主成分として含むマトリックス樹脂の架橋物の表面に、前記マトリックス樹脂の架橋温度よりも融点が高い熱可塑性フッ素樹脂により形成された平均粒子径が0.5〜50μmの微粒子に由来する微細な凹凸が形成され、前記架橋物と前記微粒子とが連結されている塗膜。
- 塗膜表面の水の接触角が120°以上である請求項1に記載の塗膜。
- 塗膜表面の表面粗さRaが、0.1〜2.5μmである請求項1又は2に記載の塗膜。
- 前記熱可塑性フッ素樹脂が未溶融のポリテトラフルオロエチレンである請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の塗膜。
- 前記架橋型フッ素樹脂が、フルオロオレフィン単位とビニルエーテル単位を含む共重合体である請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の塗膜。
- 架橋型フッ素樹脂を主成分として含むマトリックス樹脂の粉体1を85〜99重量%、熱可塑性フッ素樹脂の粉体2を1〜15重量%含み、
前記熱可塑性フッ素樹脂が、前記マトリックス樹脂の架橋温度よりも高い融点を有し、前記マトリックス樹脂と連結可能な部位を有し、
前記粉体2は、平均粒子径が0.5〜50μmの微粒子である、粉体塗料。 - 前記熱可塑性フッ素樹脂が未溶融のポリテトラフルオロエチレンである請求項6に記載の粉体塗料。
- 前記架橋型フッ素樹脂が、フルオロオレフィン単位とビニルエーテル単位を含む共重合体である請求項6又は7に記載の粉体塗料。
- 前記粉体1に、架橋成分が含まれる請求項6〜8の何れか一項に記載の粉体塗料。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の塗膜で表面の少なくとも一部が被覆されている塗工物。
- 請求項6〜9の何れか一項に記載の粉体塗料を帯電させ、基材の表面に付着させる工程を含む、塗装方法。
- 基材表面に前記粉体塗料を付着させた後、加熱処理を行う工程を含む請求項11に記載の塗装方法。
