Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an injection molded product and an injection molding die.
For example, of large parts such as automobile instrument panels and bumpers, the instrument panel is generally molded from resin. Also, with respect to bumpers, efforts have been made in recent years to make them into resins. When molding these large parts, injection molding is performed using an injection molding device that includes a pair of molding dies each having a core and a cavity having a shape corresponding to the molded product, and an injection unit. It is common.
Here, for example, in the case of manufacturing an instrument panel by injection molding, for the purpose of improving the quality of the instrument panel, in particular, for improving the quality of the design surface, the injection molding material is provided with, for example, a desired color, glossiness, texture or the like. The use of obtainable resins, elastomers, rubbers, etc. has been studied and is being developed. However, since the instrument panel is a large-sized component and thus requires high strength and rigidity, it is difficult to mold the instrument panel only with a material excellent in design quality. In addition, the fact that the above-mentioned injection material is more expensive than general-purpose resins is one of the factors that prevent molding with only the injection material.
Therefore, as an instrument panel that can satisfy both mechanical properties such as strength and rigidity and design quality such as color, gloss, and texture, it is formed in close contact with the first layer, which is the base of the instrument panel, and the first layer. An injection-molded article having a two-layer structure with a second layer having at least a part of the design surface of the instrument panel (for example, the design surface of the upper surface portion) can be considered. As a method for producing an injection-molded article having this two-layer structure, after molding the first layer with the first mold, in a state where the first layer is moved onto the core for molding the second layer, A method is known in which a cavity for molding a second layer is prepared together with a core, and the second layer is injection-molded on the first layer in an insert state with a second mold including the core and the cavity ( See, for example,
Alternatively, a method of manufacturing an injection-molded product using an injection-molding apparatus including one core and two cavities each having a different molding surface shape, and first using one cavity and the core. After injection molding the first layer, and then replacing one cavity with the other cavity (for example, by rotating or sliding the two cavities around a predetermined axis) and arranging the other cavity so as to face the core. A method is known in which the second layer is injection-molded with the first layer arranged on the molding surface of the core (for example, see Patent Document 2).
Alternatively, for the purpose of obtaining an injection-molded product having a two-layer structure with one type of mold (a pair of core and cavity), the first layer of the injection-molded product is injected with one mold consisting of a pair of core and cavity. After molding, the core was slid in the mold opening direction (back of the core) to form a space for newly molding the second layer between the first layer held on the core side and the cavity. In the state, a method of injection molding a second layer so as to cover the first layer is known (for example, refer to Patent Document 3).
If the method described in
Therefore, for example, in Patent Document 4, in the mold clamping state, a runner gate portion for injection that is connected to the injection space of the first layer and its side end portion is provided, and after the molding of the first layer, a core back operation is performed. A method has been proposed in which a two-layer injection space and a second-layer injection space are formed with an injection runner gate portion connected at their side end portions, and the injection material is injected into the second-layer injection space through the runner gate portion. ing.
By the way, in the case where the second layer is formed on a part of the first layer by core back (for example, in the case of an instrument panel, the upper surface portion of the instrument panel), in the side space of the second layer in the injection space of the second layer A structure for sealing the corresponding part is required. That is, as shown in FIGS. 7A and 7B, the
However, when the
The above-mentioned problems are not limited to instrument panels for automobiles, and may occur when manufacturing other types of injection-molded articles in which the second layer is formed so as to cover a part of the first layer.
In view of the above circumstances, the present invention provides an injection-molded article having a two-layer structure in which the second layer is formed so as to cover a part of the first layer without leaving a gate mark on the design surface of the second layer. Making it easy to manufacture is a technical problem to be solved.
The solution to the above problem is achieved by the method for producing an injection-molded article according to the present invention. That is, this manufacturing method is a method for manufacturing an injection-molded article including a first layer and a second layer that covers a part of the first layer, and includes a fixed die and a movable die having a molding surface of the first layer. A first molding step of molding the first layer using, and by moving at least a part of the molding surface of the first layer in a predetermined direction, between the molding surface of the first layer and the first layer. After forming a two-layer injection space, a second molding step of molding a second layer is provided, and a sealing block is provided on one of the fixed mold and the movable mold to form the second layer injection space, The sealing block is moved so as to be in close contact with the first layer side, and the periphery of the injection space of the second layer is sealed with the sealing block, and the first layer is placed on the other side of the fixed type and the movable type. By providing a communication block penetrating from the opposite side of the layer, by moving the communication block in a direction away from the first layer, the injection space of the second layer and the second layer of the second layer through the penetrated portion of the first layer. It is characterized in that it communicates with the injection gate section.
As described above, in the method for manufacturing an injection-molded article according to the present invention, at least a part of the molding surface of the first layer is moved in a predetermined direction so that the molding surface between the first layer and the first layer is When forming a two-layer injection space, a sealing block is provided on one of the fixed mold and the movable mold, and when forming the injection space, the sealing block is moved so as to be in close contact with the first layer side. Then, the periphery of the injection space of the second layer was sealed. This can prevent the injection material of the second layer from flowing out into the space where it should not be injected, and the second layer can be accurately formed in a predetermined position and range of the first layer. Further, in the present invention, a communication block that penetrates the first layer from the opposite side of the second layer is provided, and by moving the communication block in a direction away from the first layer, the penetrated portion of the first layer is interposed. The injection space of the second layer and the injection gate of the second layer are communicated with each other. According to this structure, the injection gate portion of the second layer is arranged at a position apart from the design surface and the side end portion of the second layer in the ejection space of the second layer, and the injection of the second layer is performed. The second layer of injection material can be injected into the space. Therefore, even when the periphery of the injection space of the second layer is sealed with the sealing block as described above, it is possible to surely avoid the situation where the gate mark remains on the design surface, and cover a part of the first layer. It is possible to mold the second layer. Further, according to the present invention, the injection gate portion of the second layer can be relatively easily set at an appropriate position depending on the shape, size, position, etc. of the communication block. Therefore, there is no fear that the injection molding apparatus will be significantly complicated, and there is no concern that the cost will increase. As described above, according to the method for manufacturing an injection-molded product according to the present invention, it is possible to mass-produce a high-quality automobile instrument panel in which a part of the first layer is covered with the second layer at a low cost.
The solution to the above-mentioned problems can also be achieved by the injection molding die according to the present invention. That is, this injection molding die is an injection molding die for molding an injection-molded article including a first layer and a second layer that covers a part of the first layer. A fixed die and a movable die having a surface, a sealing block provided on one of the fixed die and the movable die, and a connecting block provided on the other of the fixed die and the movable die and penetrating the first layer from the opposite side of the second layer. With a universal block, by moving at least a portion of the molding surface of the first layer in a predetermined direction, when forming the injection space of the second layer between the molding surface of the first layer and the first layer, By moving the sealing block so as to be in close contact with the first layer side, sealing the periphery of the injection space of the second layer with the sealing block, and moving the communication block in a direction away from the first layer. , Is characterized in that the injection space of the second layer and the injection gate part of the second layer are communicated with each other through the penetrated portion of the first layer.
As described above, in the injection molding die according to the present invention, at least a part of the molding surface of the first layer is moved in a predetermined direction so that the second layer is formed between the molding surface of the first layer and the first layer. When forming the injection space of, by providing a sealing block on one of the fixed mold and the movable mold, when forming the injection space, by moving the sealing block so as to be in close contact with the side of the first layer, The circumference of the injection space of the second layer was sealed. Therefore, there is no fear that the injection molding device will be significantly complicated, and there is no concern that the cost will increase. As described above, according to the injection molding die of the present invention, it becomes possible to mass-produce a high-quality automobile instrument panel in which a part of the first layer is covered with the second layer at a low cost.
As described above, according to the injection-molded article manufacturing method and the injection-molding die of the present invention, the second layer is formed so as to cover a part of the first layer without leaving a gate mark on the design surface of the second layer. It becomes possible to easily manufacture an injection-molded article having a two-layer structure in which layers are formed.
Hereinafter, a method for manufacturing an injection-molded article and contents of an injection-molding die according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described by taking a case of injection-molding an automobile instrument panel as an example.

The
Although not shown, the
Next, an example of a method of manufacturing the
(S1) First molding step First, as shown in FIG. 2, in a state where the fixed
At this time (when molding the first layer 2), the
(S2) Second Molding Step After forming the
Further, with the mold opening operation of the
As the
Then, in a state in which a gap having a predetermined size to be the
After the
After performing the injection molding as shown in FIG. 6, the
As described above, in the method for manufacturing the
Further, in the present embodiment, the
Of course, according to the manufacturing method of the
Although one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the method of manufacturing an injection-molded article according to the present invention can have a configuration other than the above without departing from the spirit of the invention.
For example, in the above embodiment, the fixed
In the above embodiment, the case where the
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the case where the
Further, in the above embodiment, the case where the fixed
In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the sealing
Further, in the above embodiment, the case where the
