Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a method for preventing concrete pieces from falling off from the surface of concrete structures such as bridges, tunnels or buildings.
Conventionally, in order to prevent concrete pieces from peeling off from the surface of a concrete structure, a fiber sheet is spread on the surface of the concrete skeleton, and a curable resin is applied onto the fiber sheet to impregnate the fiber sheet with the fiber sheet. Pasting is done. However, the work of applying the curable resin in a stretched state of the fiber sheet is complicated for the operator. For this reason, there has been proposed a method for preventing the concrete pieces from coming off, in which a coating material is applied to the surface of the concrete skeleton to form a tough film without using a fiber sheet (Patent Document 1).
Patent Document 1 describes a method of applying a coating material obtained by mixing an amine resin and an isocyanate prepolymer onto the surface of a concrete skeleton without using a fiber sheet (Patent Document 1, Claim 1). However, a coating material obtained by mixing an amine resin and an isocyanate prepolymer may be cured quickly. That is, the viscosity immediately after mixing the amine resin and the isocyanate prepolymer doubles after 30 minutes have passed (Patent Document 1, Claim 3). If the coating material hardens quickly, the pot life will be shortened, and the work will be difficult.
An object of the present invention is to extend the pot life of a coating material capable of forming a tough coating and improve the workability of a concrete piece peeling prevention construction method.
The construction method according to the present invention will be described in order. First, a primer is applied to the surface of a concrete skeleton to form a primer layer. The primer is an undercoat paint, which is used to form an undercoat on the surface of the concrete skeleton and to enhance the adhesiveness with the elastic resin layer applied on the undercoat. The amount of the primer applied is arbitrary, but is generally about 0.05 to 0.2 kg/m 2 . A conventionally known undercoat paint is used as the primer. For example, a one-component or two-component epoxy resin, a one-component or two-component urethane resin, a two-component acrylic resin, or the like is used. From the viewpoint of workability, it is preferable to use a one-pack type epoxy resin or a one-pack type urethane resin.
After forming the primer layer, an elastic resin is applied onto this layer to form an elastic resin layer. The elastic resin layer has a cushioning property, and when deformation such as floating occurs on the surface of the concrete skeleton, the external stress generated due to the deformation is dispersed and laminated on the elastic resin layer. This is for reducing the displacement of the existing reinforcing layer. As the elastic resin, a relatively elastic resin such as urethane resin or modified silicone resin is used. Specifically, a one-component moisture-curable urethane resin, a one-component moisture-curable modified silicone resin, a one-component moisture-curable modified silicone epoxy resin, or the like is used. In particular, it is preferable to use a one-component moisture-curable urethane resin in terms of adhesiveness to the reinforcing layer. The amount of elastic resin applied is arbitrary, but is generally about 0.3 to 1.0 kg/m 2 .
After forming the elastic resin layer, a coating material is applied onto the elastic resin layer to form the reinforcing layer. The present invention is particularly characterized in that a particular one is used as this coating material. The coating material used in the present invention includes an isocyanurate compound represented by Chemical formula 1 (hereinafter, simply referred to as “isocyanurate compound”) and an isocyanate prepolymer having a plurality of terminal groups represented by Chemical formula 2 (hereinafter, simply referred to as “isocyanurate compound”). It is referred to as "isocyanate prepolymer") and a diamine compound represented by Chemical Formula 3 (hereinafter, simply referred to as "diamine compound").
The isocyanurate compound is a trimer of the following compound, that is, a compound produced by condensation of three molecules. Specifically, 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate, 1,5-pentamethylene diisocyanate, 1,4-tetramethylene diisocyanate, 2,2,4-trimethyl-1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate, 2,4,4 -Trimethyl-1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate, isophorone diisocyanate, hydrogenated xylylene diisocyanate, hydrogenated diphenylmethane diisocyanate, tetramethylene xylylene diisocyanate, norbornane diisocyanate, 1,4-cyclohexyl diisocyanate, etc. The isocyanurate compound thus produced can be used. In these isocyanurate compounds, the NCO group is bonded to the nitrogen atom forming the ring via the aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 3 to 20 carbon atoms or the alicyclic hydrocarbon group, and thus the reactivity is lowered. However, the pot life of the coating material can be extended. For example, when the NCO group is bonded to the ring-forming nitrogen atom via an aromatic hydrocarbon group, the reactivity is high and the pot life of the coating material cannot be extended. In the present invention, it is particularly preferable to use an isocyanurate compound which is a trimer of isophorone diisocyanate.
The aliphatic hydrocarbon group or alicyclic hydrocarbon group introduced into the isocyanurate compound has 3 to 20 carbon atoms. When the carbon number is less than 3, the reactivity is less likely to decrease and the pot life of the coating material cannot be extended. Further, if the carbon number exceeds 20, the toughness of the reinforcing layer decreases. The content of the isocyanurate compound in the coating material is about 10 to 60 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the isocyanate prepolymer. When the amount of the isocyanurate compound is less than 10 parts by mass, the toughness of the reinforcing layer tends to decrease. If the amount of the isocyanurate compound added exceeds 60 parts by mass, the reinforcing layer tends to become brittle.
As the isocyanate prepolymer, conventionally known ones are used. Specifically, a polyol compound having an active hydrogen, a primary amine compound or a secondary amine compound, and an aliphatic or alicyclic diisocyanate compound are added in the presence or absence of a catalyst such as a tin catalyst. The isocyanate group is obtained by reacting under an excessive condition. Since the isocyanate groups are produced under an excessive condition, NCO groups are bonded to the ends of the resulting isocyanate prepolymer.
Examples of the polyol compound include ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, propylene glycol, 1,3-butanediol, 1,4-butanediol, 1,6-hexanediol, neopentyl glycol, hydrogenated bisphenol A, glycerin, trimethylolpropane and hexane. Low molecular weight polyol compounds such as triol, pentaerythritol and sorbitol; dimethyl group butanoic acid or dimethylol propionic acid and other carboxyl group-containing polyol compounds; polyether polyols such as polypropylene glycol, polymer polyol compounds such as polyester polyols or polycarbonate polyols Can be used.
As the primary amine compound or the secondary amine compound, an aliphatic polyamine such as ethylenediamine, 1,6-hexamethylenediamine, diethylenetriamine, triethylenetetramine, tetraethylenepentamine or pentaethylenehexamine; 4,4'-methylenebis (Cyclohexylamine), 1,3-bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane, 1,4-bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane, alicyclic polyamine such as isophoronediamine or norbornanediamine; 1,3-xylylenediamine or 1,4 -Aromatic polyamines such as xylylenediamine; polyamines having a polyoxyalkylene skeleton can be used.
As the aliphatic or alicyclic diisocyanate compound, the same ones as those used for producing the isocyanurate compound are used. In the present invention, it is not preferable to use an aromatic diisocyanate compound to obtain the isocyanate prepolymer. This is because the isocyanate prepolymer obtained by using the aromatic diisocyanate compound is difficult to extend the pot life. In the present invention, in order to obtain an isocyanate prepolymer, one obtained by reacting a polyol compound consisting of a polyether polyol and an alicyclic diisocyanate compound in the presence of a tin catalyst under an excessive isocyanate group condition is used. Is preferred. In particular, it is most preferable to use the one obtained by reacting polypropylene glycol and isophorone diisocyanate in the presence of a tin catalyst under the condition that the isocyanate group is excessive.
As the diamine compound, diethyltoluenediamine, dimethylthiotoluenediamine or the like is used. The diamine compound functions as a curing material, and is a compound that cures the coating material by reacting the isocyanurate compound with the isocyanate prepolymer. If a compound other than the compound having a toluenediamine structure as in the present invention is used as the diamine compound, it is difficult to extend the pot life of the coating material, which is not preferable. Particularly, in the present invention, it is most preferable to use dimethylthiotoluenediamine.
The content of the diamine compound in the coating material is about 10 to 30 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the isocyanate prepolymer. If the blending amount of the diamine compound is less than 10 parts by mass, the toughness of the reinforcing layer tends to decrease. Moreover, when the compounding quantity of a diamine compound exceeds 30 mass parts, it tends to become difficult to extend a pot life.
The coating material may contain a filler such as calcium carbonate or kaolin, and a thixotropic material such as hydrophobic silica or fumed silica, in addition to the isocyanurate compound, the isocyanate prepolymer and the diamine compound. The amount of the filler compounded is about 20 to 60 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the isocyanate prepolymer. The blending amount of the thixotropic material is about 5 to 20 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the isocyanate prepolymer. Further, other additives such as pigments, dyes, UV absorbers or flame retardants may be contained.
The coating material is prepared by mixing an isocyanurate compound, an isocyanate prepolymer and a diamine compound at the construction site. The coating materials are delivered as a kit to the construction site. The kit is a combination of a diamine compound which is a curing material, an isocyanurate compound and an isocyanate prepolymer which are main materials. The additive material such as a filler may be contained in the hardening material or may be contained in the main material. Then, at the time of construction, the main material and the hardening material are uniformly mixed to form a coating material, which is applied to the elastic resin layer to form a reinforcing layer. Although the coating amount of the coating material is arbitrary, it is generally about 0.5 to 1.5 kg/m 2 . If the coating amount is less than 0.5 kg/m 2 , the toughness of the reinforcing layer tends to decrease. On the other hand, if the coating amount exceeds 1.5 kg/m 2 , the toughness of the reinforcing layer will increase, but the amount of coating material used will increase, and this tends to be unreasonable.
After forming the reinforcing layer with a coating material, a finishing paint may be applied on the reinforcing layer to form the finishing layer. A conventionally known finish paint is used as the finish paint. For example, urethane resin, acrylic resin, urethane acrylic resin, fluorine resin, or the like is used. The amount of the finish paint applied is arbitrary, but is generally about 0.05 to 0.2 kg/m 2 .
The method for preventing the concrete pieces from falling off according to the present invention is one in which a specific coating material is applied onto the elastic resin layer to form a reinforcing layer. This has the effect of increasing the working time and improving workability. In addition, since the elastic resin layer and the specific reinforcing layer are laminated to form a film, the elastic resin layer has flexibility and the reinforcing layer has toughness, so that concrete pieces can be more effectively prevented from falling off. Play.

[Measurement of pot life]
The pot life of the coating materials prepared in Examples 1 to 8 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4 was measured by the following method. That is, the prepared coating material was mixed in an environment of 23° C. for 1 minute, and the initial viscosity was measured with a B type viscosity type. Then, the viscosity was continuously measured, and the time required to reach 1.5 times the initial viscosity was measured. The coating materials used in Examples 1 to 7 and Comparative Example 1 did not reach 1.5 times the initial viscosity even after 30 minutes or more. The coating material used in Example 8 reached 1.5 times the initial viscosity in 5 to 30 minutes. The coating materials used in Comparative Examples 2 and 3 reached 1.5 times the initial viscosity in less than 5 minutes. Furthermore, the coating material used in Comparative Example 4 did not increase in viscosity and did not cure after the next day. As is clear from this result, the coating material of Comparative Example 2 uses an isocyanurate compound having an aromatic hydrocarbon group, and the coating material of Comparative Example 3 has an isocyanate prepolymer having an aromatic hydrocarbon group. Since the polymer was used, the pot life could not be extended. Further, since the coating material of Comparative Example 4 uses a diamine compound having a long-chain hydrocarbon group, the curing time was too long to be used.
[Measurement of punching strength]
The exfoliation prevention construction methods of Examples 1 to 8 and Comparative Examples 1 to 4 were applied to the specimens described in JSCE-K 533 without being applied to the concrete skeleton. Then, according to the method described in JSCE-K533, a punching test was performed on the coating film formed on the sample under an environment of 50° C. to obtain a load-displacement curve. Then, the maximum load was determined when the displacement was 10 mm or more, and this was taken as the punching strength. The punching strength of the coating obtained by the exfoliation prevention method of Examples 1 and 3 is 2.0 kN or more, and the punching strength of the coating obtained by the exfoliation prevention method of Examples 2 and 4 to 8 is 1. It was 0.5 to 2.0 kN, and the punching strength of the coating film obtained by the peeling-preventing method of Comparative Example 1 was less than 1.5 kN. The coating film obtained by the peeling-prevention method of Comparative Example 1 did not contain an elastic resin layer, so it was difficult to disperse stress due to displacement, and a film having sufficient punching strength could not be obtained.
