Claims (5)
- ゲート線、データ線、ゲート線及びデータ線に接続されている画素を含む表示パネルと、前記データ線に接続されているデータ駆動部と、前記ゲート線に接続されているゲート駆動部と、前記データ駆動部及び前記ゲート駆動部を制御する信号制御部と、アナログ電源電圧を生成する集積回路と、前記アナログ電源電圧の印加を受けて前記データ駆動部に階調電圧を伝達する階調電圧生成部とを含む表示装置において、
前記信号制御部は、前記データ駆動部に映像データを印加しないブランク時間の間に、前記データ駆動部がいずれも同一のデータ電圧を出力し、前記階調電圧生成部が全て同一の階調電圧を出力できるように、前記階調電圧生成部を制御し、
前記階調電圧生成部は、前記データ駆動部に映像データを印加する時間に出力される階調電圧を表す第1デジタル信号が保存されている第1記憶部と、前記ブランク時間に出力される階調電圧を表す第2デジタル信号が保存されている第2記憶部とを含み、
前記階調電圧生成部は、前記ブランク時間の間に、前記アナログ電源電圧の印加を受けて前記第2記憶部に保存された前記第2デジタル信号で表される前記全て同一の階調電圧を出力することを含む表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記信号制御部が、前記データ駆動部に映像データを印加しないブランク時間の間に、前記データ駆動部にクロック信号を印加しないように前記集積回路を制御することをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
- 前記信号制御部は、前記クロック信号を生成するPLL部、及び前記クロック信号を出力する出力端を含み、
前記データ駆動部は、前記クロック信号を受信する受信端を含み、
前記信号制御部は、イネーブル信号により前記PLL部を制御して、前記ブランク時間の間に前記クロック信号が発生しないように前記集積回路を制御することをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記信号制御部は、前記クロック信号を出力する出力端を含み、
前記データ駆動部は、前記クロック信号を受信する受信端を含み、
前記信号制御部は、イネーブル信号によって前記出力端が前記ブランク時間の間に前記クロック信号を出力しないように前記集積回路を制御することをさらに含む、請求項2に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記出力端と前記受信端は一対の配線によって接続されており、
前記クロック信号を出力しないときは、前記信号制御部が前記一対の配線のうちの一つをフローティングさせる、請求項4に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
